Dr. Dang is never helpful when it comes to medication management — she would go through a list of medications and ask you which one you would like to try. How unprofessional. How am I, the patient, supposed to know which medication is right for me? She would suggest medications that I’ve already been on and refuse to take again because of negative side effects. I have asked her for written documentation for school and work, and she would write a letter(I mean, a paragraph) during my 15 minute office visit. Apparently, she doesn’t have time on the weekends to do so. How convenient. (My school later declined my tuition refund request due to lack of credibility and evidence of the illnesses. Thanks Dr. Dang.) I have called her emergency line when I was hospitalized months ago. She never called me back. That is a great(yet, unfortunate) example of her irresponsibility and lack of dedication to her patients. Her office staff is incompetent and speaks little English.(For the record, I can understand poor English/heavy foreign accents pretty well due to life experience, but I still found it difficult to comprehend the staff of this office.) The wait is unpredictable, prepare for up to 45 minutes. Appointments are only 15 minutes. Dr. Dang acts like an unsympathetic pharmacist, not a psychiatrist. Avoid her at all costs. Note: I did receive a refund due to proper documentation from a competent and helpful psychiatrist I saw after Dr. Dang.
