Delicious subs that are huge and very inexpensive, you can split a large sub between four people. My recommendations are the steak and cheese and the Italian, but I’m sure everything is good. I have never been disappointed when getting a sub at Marcuccis, the fresh bread and ingredients make the subs worth making a drive for!

Our go to place for grinders. However bread was very disappointing today. Hope they haven’t changed things up.

I’m looking forward to moving to Fall River soon & this place is one of the reasons why. In Fall River, there are many small family owned places that serve up deliciousness at bargain prices. As we’ve been looking at properties, we’ve been discovering these treasures of the past that keep it real & keep prices low with excellent quality. Twice so far I’ve been here & I feel like I time traveled back to the 80’s to get these deals. Meatball/Sausage combo, Italian w/mixed peppers, Tuna, & Roast Beef are just a few of the awesomely tasty, massive subs we shared among our fam. The bread is outstanding, has a nice chew to it & the fillings are perfection so far, even considering the somewhat weird pricing on standard toppings like lettuce, pickle, tomatoes. I’m sure it’s done to keep«base» prices down for those who like simple grinders. Anyway, I don’t care how or why it’s done, the place is just plain amazing & so are their offerings. Also tried the little square sicilian pizza slices & brownies & cookies. I don’t think you could even make anything they sell here at home as cheaply as they sell them here so just go & try it & you’ll love it.

The chicken parm grinder was great, and not only were the prices great, but so wasn’t the size of the grinder, which the medium was more like a large. Service could’ve been a little friendly but they were pretty busy so I get it.

A great value. Hot and cold sandwiches are chock full and served on fresh baked bread. Pizza slices and pastries are also excellent. Abundant portions and very reasonable prices.

Awesome. Been going here since I was a kid. Grinders and home made pizza are top notch. Now I bring my daughter here and she loves the food too. Especially the custard cups. I have been to other places that serve similar food but you cannot beat the prices and quality of the food. Owners and employees are great and always smiling.

The grinders here are awesome! So is the chourice(spelling??) pizza. The pizza is a little bit unconventional but full of flavor. The grinders are big and taste great. The only downside is I eat too much but that is my own fault. So yummy! I wish they had one on the west coast!

A true Fall Riverite knows the difference and has a preference when it comes to Marcucci’s vs. Marzilli’s. I’m a hardcore Marcucci’s girl. This is the ideal summer meal, perfect for the beach or picnic. They make the best grinders(not a sub, not a hoagie, a GRINDER) in the USA. You can’t go wrong with a traditional Italian. I really enjoy the turkey and cheese. Besides their grinders, they make excellent bakery pizza. For dessert try the rice pudding(they make it very well) or the custard cups. The prices are so low you can really go crazy, so go for the large sub get a bunch of pizzas and you’ll have enough food for the whole day and still money in your pocket. They are CASHONLY.

Many have referred to Fall River as an «open cesspool,» but they clearly haven’t experienced old-school gems like Marcucci’s. Everything is super cheap and made quickly. The signature Fall River grinder is the Italian(delicious), but everything I’ve had from there has been excellent, including the bakery pizza. Anyone who says Marzilli’s on the next block is better is, therefore, questionable in all aspects of life and should not be trusted under any circumstances.

Nice little spot to grab super cheap, simple, GIANT grinders. Their go-to grinder is the classic italian with fresh meats, cheeses, and bread.(If you want condiments, they are extra) Very friendly girls behind the counter. Some words of wisdom though… Either call your order in ahead or be prepared to wait, and bring cash because they kick it old school style.

The biggest grinders for the lowest price! Since the 80’s! Maybe even longer!

I moved to Fall River for the summer and decided to try Marcuccis. For some reason I was expecting a traditional Italian bakery(obviously not realizing the riv is primarily Portuguese). The line was very long but moved quickly. I highly recommend calling your order in if you want something on the weekend. I was a bit overwhelmed when it was my turn to order. I wanted just a sandwich with prosciutto, mozzarella, basil and balsamic. The woman looked at me like I was crazy and said they didn’t have prosciutto or mozzarella. This was surprising to me because this place is a deli too that sells cold cuts so I was a little confused as to how they wouldn’t have prosciutto. Feeling flustered and unsure of what to get, I did what every single person in front of me did and ordered the italian. I assumed it came with everything already on it so was very surprised when I got home to find only meat and cheese on bread(no sauce, veggies, etc.) Apparently you have to tell them EXACTLY what you want on the sandwich. I feel like as a new customer, that’s something they should have told me. All of that aside, the sandwich was good and tasted very fresh. I’d go back but would be sure to add veggies and some sort of condiments. FYI, cash only.

their red pizza is to die for. great crust and they put a lot of sauce on the pizza and it is delicious! Kale soup is good but could use a little more stock. their custard cups are great. I do not like the fact that if you order a ½ sheet you get it in an open cardboard tray covered with foil and paper. This is fine if you are going to eat it the day you buy it. If you order ¼ sheet you get it in a nice white bakery box. almost like you are being punished for ordering more. not sure what you get if you order a full sheet. The prices are good. The staff is rather curt. but who cares, to me this is a take out place.

Meh. It’s okay. It’s definitely not the best place for a roast beef sub. Although their bread is very good, they pack their sandwiches with too much meat. I’m always taking some off. Also, the works aka lettuce, tomatoe and onion aren’t included in the price, which I find to be ridiculous. They also don’t layer the sandwich very well. The way the bread is cut and how they pack the food in the bread is inconvinent. I also tried their cheeseburger sub. A big no thanks! The meat was gross and didn’t taste anything like real beef. It geeked me out. I’ll never get it again. A lot of people rave about this place. If you like simple, meaty sandwiches this is probably the place for you. Oh and as a side note, their Clam Chowder was awful and watery.

This place is great. Awesome for a quick Italian grinder fix. The pizza is awesome too but don’t expect any domino’s or pizza hut style pizza here though. Like their sandwiches it is super simple and Yummi. Nothing but bread sauce and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese.(chourico also available). The prices here are awesome too… But bring cash they don’t accept credit!!! Def recommend this place if you are in the area, hungry, and low on cash.

A visit to Marcucci’s is best preceded by a phone order. So do it right and you’ll likely be on your way inside a five minute window. Failure to heed my advice will extend your stay. If the parking in front is already taken there’s a small lot adjacent to the building. The shop itself is small and on the dingier end of the cleanliness spectrum. Bottom rusted spin-style stools deceptively dare diners to get off their feet and enjoy their purchases on a narrow countertop incapable of retaining Marcucci’s regular offerings. Because the subs? Well, they’re ginormous. Order a large to go and be handed two monstrosities wrapped in tinfoil just begging to be lifted aside. On your first visit you’ll walk out feeling like you’ve just cheated the place or thinking that the prepper is new. Either way, you end up on top because it’s no joke. They somehow manage to stay in business while featuring what seems to be a two for one large sub special ad infinitum. Their contents will be of something nudging slightly above average taste and quality. Any order placed involving cheese will necessitate a surgical operation to extract the foil encasing the sub. It will integrate itself into the mass of contents with a thoroughness deserving of patience, precision and vulgarity. So overall, if I were homeless, I’d save my nickels and make Marcucci’s a regular stop on my bottle collection route.

Not much to look at from the outside in a neighborhood that’s seen better days, but isn’t that where all of the gems are? Marcucci’s has the best grinder rolls I’ve found in New England and the roll makes a grinder. The prices can’t be beat and they have a great selection of grinders and Portuguese favorites like Chourico Rolls. The hold back from 5 stars is that they don’t always cut the foot-long grinders in half, which makes it tough to eat in the car.

I’m pretty much just repeating things that are on other reviews here but I can’t resist. The small, square, almost cheeseless slices of pizza are a bit of heaven on earth. You could feed a small army for like $ 15 with this pizza. And as the others said here the grinders are perfect for road trips, beach trips, trips to the moon. You could again feed 10 people for like $ 10. Can’t beat it. And yes, Marzilli’s right down the street is pretty much the same haven for deals. But watch out, these places close early.
