The Tuna sandwich was great. They do warn you it has carrots, celery and long grain rice in it. I love different things in my tuna. I feel like this is the only place in Fall River that will not give me a stomach ache because they use fresh ingredients and non hormonal meats. I will defiantly be back to try something else. I would have given it 5 stars, but the girl who brought out everyone’s food had the personality of The Soup Nazi.

My staff and I go there all the time for lunch. Great staff, very fast, good sandwiches and salads with daily specials and plenty of variety. The perfect place to be near our offices.

Credit Cards vs. Debit Cards What’s the difference between how these types of cards are handled? For whatever reason, the law does not address debit card transactions from a consumer perspective. However, the laws did limit how much retailers have to pay when you pay with a debit card: their costs for accepting debit cards are generally lower than the costs for accepting a credit card. This is true even if you use a debit card but choose a «credit» transaction. . So are they allowed to do whatever they want when you pay with a debit card? No. Their agreements with card processing networks prohibit them from setting a minimum purchase amount for debit card transactions. . Some retailers may not realize that there’s a difference between credit cards and debit cards, and some may just choose not to follow the rules. I will not be having my lunch here again not just for that reason, but staff was rude and my tuna sandwich had no tuna in it. For some reason rice is some how tuna to them. Dont ask for another sandwich becaue you will be made to feel like you are the worst person on earth. Overpriced for the amount you get. No Thank You

The overwhelming smell of greasy bacon made it feel like an old diner. I was somewhat intrigued to see what coffees were offered after seeing a sign in the window that read, «Micro Roasted Coffee» The coffee was far from artisanal — instead, synthetically flavored varieties filled the urns. The vegetarian options lacked love, as well as flavor. I was pretty let down with the tabouli hummus wrap. The tabouli did not taste fresh, and that was the strangest consistency for a hummus that I’ve ever seen or tasted. There’s a $ 10 minimum for credit card use, which is another pet peeve of mine. Sorry Café Arpeggio, but you missed the mark.

This place is disappointing. I love good coffee, and this just doesn’t rank anywhere near even the middle-ground of the scale in terms of quality, flavor or consistency from what I’ve experienced in other places. There’s a huge selection here, but maybe a little more focus would be better. The staff tend to be all over the place, and while there’s way too much selection for them to keep up with, they don’t seem to care about presentation anyway. So in the end, the lack of concern or attention to detail just turns into the norm. This blasé attitude is reflected in the uncomfortable, forced seating the café offers. They should have thought about where to keep the cleaning supplies before leaving everything open to the patrons, as well as why they were choosing such an ugly color for an eatery. The Arpeggio screams«doesn’t care about you» louder than most places in Fall River.

Love this place. I’ve been meeting a lot of my newer clients here and it’s such a great place for coffee, breakfast, lunch or desert. The staff is always fun and helpful with their long menu, the atmosphere is great since it’s downtown and the seating is spacious! I love it.

Awful service! I had a bad experience here today. I used a credit card and looked all over for a sign saying there was a minimum charge required, I saw none. So I placed my order for a cappuccino, the barista, who already had an attitude problem, took my card and told me she was up charging me 50cents because there was a minimum card fee. She did not offer that I order a pastry or something else off the menu just that I was being slapped with an extra 50cents. She then incorrectly charged 47 dollars to my card instead of 4.70. She refunded my card the money but then acted huffy when I asked for a refund receipt. She finally charged me correctly and offered a backhanded sorry, while her co worker laughed at her mistake. I would’ve been able to forgive all that if it had been a damn good coffee, but it wasn’t! The espresso tasted burnt, I couldn’t even enjoy it, I threw it out. Not willing to give this place another shot.

Oh Café Arpeggio, my island oasis in this sea of shit. Vegetarian eats, delicious baked goods and exceptional coffee, Café Arpeggio is both my favorite breakfast AND lunch spots in the area. The stuff is usually friendly(though I’ve had one answer her cell phone and chat the entire time I was ordering once… annoying) and prompt. Sometimes you’ll wait a bit though, so this isn’t the best place to come for a coffee when you’re running late. The interior is painted in horrendously gross and unpleasant-to-look-at color, but otherwise it’s a nice place with great mutant-watching potential.(If you live in the Riv, you’ll understand… right across from the Justice League building)

Terrific spot for great coffee, delicious pastries and tasty ice cream; all made on the premises. The atmosphere is pleasantly comfortable with pleanty of space for friends to gather and chat over coffee or lunch. This place is a jewel in Fall River’s downtown which is finding new life with UMass Dartmouth’s satellite location and new office buildings. I have not tried the lunch here, but I will and I’ll keep you posted.

Great chicken salad sandwich(I always get mine with cranberry sauce.) Great raspberry filled cookies. Great service. Pretty good atmosphere. When taking classes in the Fall River satellite branch of UMASS Dartmouth, I used to stop here for dinner almost every night. It is just next to the book store, it is affordable, and it is quick. Café Arpeggio is not the most unique, interesting, or intriguing café I have been to, and I am not drawn to hang out there with friends for any period of time outside of eating. For lunch or a light dinner however, it is one of the best places around. Recently added: Free WiFi
