I really like this place! There are a little of random things that you might not expect. There is also a good alcohol section, especially the wine!

Oh my wow! I’ve been to this location a few times. Whenever it first open it was awesome! Great deals! Non expired foodies! Cheap little finds!!! Well there are still cheap little finds but if I were you I would pass on a lot of the food items here! A lot of them are expired, past due! Looks like boxes of crackers fell off the truck. smashed! Lots of damaged foods! Lots of expired and holiday foods. And open food items! Who would want that? Also, I went in there today 08÷18÷15 and saw Christmas cupcakes in their fridge/freezer! That’s disgusting! They were from last year! Who would buy them? lol

A 2.5 star review. It’s another spin on the discount store circuit. You never know what is here, and you never know when things are going to be gone. I wouldn’t come in with anything specific in mind to buy; otherwise, more than likely, you will go home disappointed. This is kind of a store to come in on a whim and just browse. Prices are hit or miss; there are things here that are good buys, and then there are some things that are totally overpriced. On my last visit I scored some Smead file boxes for $ 2.99(regularly at least $ 15 at Walmart)…but their bath towels, while $ 2.99, were shockingly thin and looks like they will bleed in the wash. While they might not have much of any one category in particular, they do have different sections. They do have a wide range of wine and beer; some are recognized labels at a decent price. Their toy section is pretty small, but their home décor section is pretty vast. Some pieces do look cheap though… so I would recommend it for a college student or someone that is just starting out. The two racks they had of knock-off Scentsy products were of the same pine smell; that’s going to take forever to get rid of! But then they have 99 cent huge candles that are that price because the wax set wrong. The clothing and accessories that they have look like the end-of-the-year leftovers from Forever 21. They do have a food and freezer section, but some of the foods are not from well known brands — so buyer beware towards the quality? The brand names have improved since my last visit… and I noted that they got some leftovers in from the Target brand too… so really, everything is a conglomerate from everywhere.

Here Today is a unique take on a discount store from the local minds behind the former Grandpa’s stores. Here today focuses on closeout deals, from anything from food, home goods/furnishing, wine/beer, gifts, and even some appliances/electronics. The store is like Big Lots, however a bit more upscale and less cluttered. Prices are fair, and you can manage to really stock up on some name brand items at a very reasonable value. The selection is not very wide, however it can vary from week to week. By no means is this a place that will replace Schnucks or even Shop ‘N Save, however its worth checking out before to see if you can save on a few items.
