No hot tub, tiny pool, fox news is blacked out on TV but all other news stations come in just fine. Very musty smell as soon as you walk in and also down the hallways. The condition of the American Flag hanging out front is embarrassing and should really be replaced.

Looks like these reviews are old, the hotel seemed to be updated and clean. Great friendly staff.

I am not impressed with this hotel what’s ever. The room was $ 119 plus tax and not worth the money at all. Although they are in the process on renovating and the staff was extremely friendly, I do not see myself staying here in the future.

This Hampton Inn definitely needs to be updated. It smells dusty and it looks dusty as well. The bedding was clean as well as the bathroom. But it doesn’t change the fact that the hotel room seemed below par in comparison to the average Hampton Inn these days. The price we paid was higher than it probably should have been.($ 10 – 20 lower than a much more modern Hampton Inn in St. Louis). Just a warning, the bathroom is small and cramped. Only one person at a time unlike the spacious bathrooms in the updated Hampton Inns. I don’t think I would stay here again. I’d be more comfortable paying the extra $ 20 a night for a newer hotel. This hotel was chosen because it was cheaper than the others and we only used it to crash for some sleep during our drive from Utah to Florida.

The place is very worn and run down looking, both in the common areas and in the rooms. The room furniture is WAY overdue for replacement — the desk was beat up, the desk chair fabric had stains in it, the carpet floor in the room was dirty and stained. And it is so close to the highway, that even with the 1960’s style air conditioner on «high», it is as if your bed is sitting out next to the highway… it is very noisy with traffic noise even in the middle of the night. The only plus side is that the staff is friendly.(There is free wifi, but it does not work very well.)

This was a decent Hampton, although probably not up to par with most. I WILL say that because they accept pets, score. However, there is a $ 50 fee for pets, which I wasn’t made aware of when I made the reservation and specifically asked if they accepted pets. So points off for this. I paid the $ 50, but at least let me KNOW about it!
