I love Julios! I really enjoy the buffalo chicken wrap. For some reason I cannot get buffalo chicken wrap with crispy chicken anywhere else. I always get cheese fries as well. Love the cheese sauce on the side, it’s not like some places that throw shredded cheese on top. The décor is not an average pizzeria which is interesting. It looks more like a diner than a pizzeria but I love it!

This is my husband’s favorite pizza place in the area. Pizza is not at the top of my list for favorite foods, but to be fair to my pizza-loving spouse, we order pizza several times per month. When I do eat pizza, I prefer a brick oven pizza with a thin crust and puffy crisp edges, but that is not the style here. The crust edges at Julio’s seem dense, very crunchy, and relatively flat. I can’t quite identify what makes Julio’s crust taste and texture so different from all other local pizza. Perhaps the leavening and flour are unique. Since hubby and I are polar opposites in taste when it comes to pizza toppings and crusts, he orders an individual pie and I experiment with other items on the menu. The steak in a pouch and the stromboli are both enjoyable alternatives, so we are both happy when we order from here. The small stromboli is so generous that we get three or four portions out of it! We often order take out, but I also enjoy dining in at the restaurant. The 50’s décor is fun, the staff are friendly, and the service has always been just fine. 12/16/2015 — Dined in this evening. We ordered the large stromboli, with ham, sausage, and mushrooms as our three filling choices. The top crust is deliciously thin and crunchy and the bottom and ends are not«doughy.» The filling is generous with all ingredients. Sauce on the side is an option. It is marinara with a lovely and finely chunky texture. It was so difficult to stop eating it, but we managed to save half for tomorrow’s lunch!

BEST pizza ever. It is different than«traditional» pizza, and I’ve heard some say they love it or hate it, but i LOVE it. Very saucey and very cheesey — ummm the best part of a pizza?! Thier non-seasoned curly fries are also my favorite. Only 2 things I’ve ever had there, and have been going for more than a decade. Best place for an inexpensive and delicious meal!

I will travel hours to get a Ginacotti! Even brought one on my airplane ride home once! Sure, it’s deep fried and not healthy! If someone orders this and expects some gourmet masterpiece, they started off on the wrong foot. It’s not too greasy at all. And the ratio of sweet sauce to cheese is perfection! Their pizza is one of my favorites, too.

Better cheesesteaks than Pat’s. Ginnacotti is totally worth the trip, deep fried inside-out pizza. Pizza is different but consistent and better than most places. Check it out!

Overall: Food is delicious… you won’t be disappointed! Cheesesteak…I ordered the mushroom cheesesteak in a pocket and it was delicious! Buffalo wings… one of the top wings I’ve had! So crispy and the chicken so moist… Atmosphere Typical pizzeria/restaurant…nothing special

My husband loves this place. I, however do not. Pizza has way too much cheese for not enough sauce. Some of their appetizers are decent(cheese fries, mozzarella stix, chicken fingers), stuff you can’t go wrong with. It’s OK. I gave a star because my husband loves those grease-filled ginacottis. And the other star is for the cars in the clear cases that my son loves to look at.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. I’ve been getting food from here for 25 years. They are a Levittown/Fairless Hills institution. Home of the Ginacotti which are absolutely delicious. I’ve tried probably everything on the menu at least once. They never disappoint my favorites are their wings, pizza, and cheesesteaks in a pouch. If you haven’t been here order take out or sit in their spacious 50“s styled dining room. Prices are reasonable too so bring the kids along. Another testament to how wonderful this place is the same core staff has been there ever since I can remember.

What can I say about Julio’s? Well, I’m a Levittown, Pa native. My parents have been ordering food from here since I was very young. Now, since I’ve grown, I still go here to eat their very delicious Ginacotti’s. Sure, Ginacotti’s are full of cheese, sauce, plus whatever pizza topping inside you desire and deep fried, but they are worth a try at least one time in your life! Shame on those who won’t try it at least once because it’s «deep-fried.» You can always go to the gym the next day… I’ve been eating them for years, and they’ve only gotten better. I love their Sicilian pizza, and honestly, I’ll be bold and say the have the best Sicilian in the area. I’ve tried many other Sicilian pizzas at different restaurants around here, but nothing has compared. I go here regularly, perhaps at least twice a month and they know me as a regular, and the food is always cooked and served great. Even if I ever received bad service, I would go back, the food is that good. I would be very sad if Julio’s ever went out of business because that would mean no more Ginacotti’s!

I don’t get it. So many people give this place more stars than it deserves. I have tried this pizzeria for takeout numerous times and most recently as a dining-in experience; I feel as though I have given them plenty of chances to impress me. Yet, they have failed me on every single occasion. While the food isn’t terrible, one can find plenty of other establishments in the area that are much better. The purported world famous ginacotti seems to me to be just a dense, grease laden heap of deep fried dough containing even more grease inside. Eat one of these bad boys and you will feel like lying down and entering into a coma. To be fair, I have yet to try any of their sandwiches in a pouch. They could be good, but I have never ventured outside of my comfort zone to try anything other than a traditional roll for my cheese steaks. As far as the pizza goes, it just seems very mediocre. I can’t quite put my finger on what the problem is, but it just doesn’t impress me. The dough is a bit on the thicker side and gives you the impression that it is frozen and not hand-tossed. I am not saying that the dough is frozen, but to me it seems that way. I am more of a hand tossed, thinner crust lover. Most recently I dined in and had the taco wrap. The experience of eating-in left me wishing it was more enjoyable; It just seemed too casual for me. My waiter wasn’t bad per-se, but he just seemed awfully casual with me by calling me «pal» and«buddy» and not seeming to exude a happy vibe. However, he was on point with providing me refills of root beer whenever my cup came even close to being empty. Now, I am no uptight kinda guy that can’t appreciate a neighborhood pizza place being laid back, but when it is coupled with a not-so-happy attitude it tipped the scales for me. As far as the taco wrap goes… It is advertised as containing salsa and sour cream. I didn’t detect any salsa whatsoever, just diced tomatoes; It did have sour cream, but only on the ends of the wrap at the last two bites. Bottom line, I will give them another try, but it won’t be for awhile. I truly hope they turn things around as they are really close and would be super convenient for me.

Been a lifelong customer of julios, but recently service has absolutely sucked. One recent example they ran out of rolls on a Fri night. Really? A steak and hoagie place running out of rolls. C’mon. But the kicker is the last 2 visits they have managed to screw up a simple steak ginicotti. First time not putting sauce. Then on my last visit putting mushrooms. Unbelievable. I can get a fried inside out pizza anywhere, there pizza is marginal at best. So julios will not be getting any of my business

I’m giving two stars because the folks I was with liked there Ginacottis. I personally don’t see what is remotely appetizing about a fried calzone that comes out sopping wet with grease. There’s a reason why no one has ever duplicated the Ginacotti, it’s disgusting to me but to each his own. On a positive note, the onion rings were very good. It’s hard to get a good O ring these days. They weren’t greasy at all. Fries were okay too and the portion is huge! Since I wasn’t feeling the Ginacotti I ordered the white pizza with olive oil, garlic, ricotta cheese and spices topped with broccoli. The menu says the ricotta is extra. What I got was a weird bready crust with an inch thick layer of cheeses both mozzarella and ricotta. By the way the ‘extra’ charge for ricotta almost raises the price by 50%! Turned my eleven dollar pie into a fifteen dollar lump of dough and cheese. I couldn’t find the spices or garlic anywhere, just a few huge pieces of broccoli. It’s a shame to pay extra for a pizza that has so much cheese it’s inedible. The service was okay, it is a pizza place after all. It’s always fun to be seated in the back corner next to the bathrooms of a nearly empty restaurant!

I have ate here several times and the food is okay. I don’t really understand the hype about the cheesesteak pouches they are not that good. The quality of the meat is poor it is not like a Steve’s prince of steaks quality or other typical cheesesteak place that offers the«real Philly cheesesteak». I would prefer if they had more eat in type specials it seems like you have to order everything a la carte which could make it an expensive meal and for all that i would much rather go to a real restaurant then. The service is VERY slow, if they want to be a eat in restaurant they should staff the right amount of people.

Great wings, pizza is good too. I recommend the everything pie, I’m not too big on the hoagies but for the most party everything is good.

I don’t understand why people are giving this restaurant low stars because its«not healthy.» It’s a pizza place, what the heck do you expect to get besides greasy pizza, french fries, and steaks. If you’re looking for healthy, you should probably skip take out restaurants all together. With that said. .. the food from Julio’s is delicious. My family and I get take out from there and it’s always hot. The steak sandwich’s are great and have so much meat! So many steak places around here hardly put any meat on their steaks. I did not give this restaurant 5 stars because the service if your eating inside the restaurant can be slow. It’s hard to get a drink refill as they usually have packed tables, about 25, and only 2 servers. This makes eating in very slow.

We usually pickup from Julio’s once a month. Steak in a pouch is usually money!!! The food is always pretty tasty except for the last 2 times. The service has been horrible the past few times. Food was absolutely cold. Tasty but cold. I sat there waiting to grab our food which should have been 15 to 20 minutes. One item was there however they didn’t notice all our items were ready. This has happened on two separate occasions. No sorry we goofed or oops. Julio’s you need to work on your service quickly or you’re going to lose customers. I hate to say it like that but it’s true.

I went here for the first time the other night and I had a pretty awesome meal. The atmosphere/service is nice and the pricing very reasonable. One thing I liked was they offer most sandwiches«In a pouch» and I thoroughly enjoyed my cheese-steak pouch. I look forward to going back and trying more of their menu.

Place is not good! Waited 45 mins for 2 pizzas. Got home box as so greasy. The crust was horrible and the pizza was soggy! They cool it in a pan and then they don’t let it crisp up on the deck of the oven. Horrible!

My favorite local guilty pleasure. I love the plain cheese pizza. The sauce is great and they put the perfect ratio of cheese(a lot!). We usually get the spicy curly fries, they’re not spicy but who doesn’t love curly fries. The hot wings are also tasty and crispy and the sauce comes on the side.

What can you do? When in Philly, you just have to find comfort in the fact that you might never eat another salad again. Well at least in Philly you won’t. With so many cheese steak and pizza options, its hard to find anything that’s even remotely healthy. That said, Julio’s was a wonderful treat, with some great pizza and cheese steak«pouches». I thoroughly enjoyed it.
