California Nails

I have been going to California Nails in Fairhaven for over 10 years. A family owned business, great service, very cleaned, reasonable and cannot be nicer. I’ve seen the kids grow up and coming into the business. It’s nice to see this type of commitment from an amazing family. I highly recommend you visit. You’ll be glad you did

Best service! Best quality! Best price! I have been coming to California Nails in FH for years and I won’t go anywhere else. I’ve tried other nail salons and am always disappointed when I spend twice as much and my manicure lasts ½ as long. I am never disappointed at California Nails! My shellac lasts 3 weeks and my pedicures (literally) last for months! I also can’t say enough about the friendly service — I am always greeted with a smile!

Honestly this place was great. A little Messy doesn’t mean dirty, it means busy which isn’t surprising. They had fun conversations with me and they have more color choices for gel than most places, and the prices can’t be beat! My gel polish looks better than it does when I pay $ 15 more! I’ll definitely be going back from now on.

I’m with Konstance K. I hate this place and still end up coming at least once a summer. But only because it’s convenient and cheap, not because they do a good job or have good ambience. In fact I’m listening to the manager guy’s hacking cough right now while sitting in a broken massage chair. Gets the job done in a pinch and for that reason only I’m sure I’ll be back.

I don’t know what the previous (slightly racist) reviewer is talking about. I went into this salon recently when I was back home and was very impressed. These manicurists actually take they’re time! And they make sure everything is dry before they kick out out like so many salons do. This is such a friendly place too. It’s a great salon to relax at.
I loved my manicure and I was told recently that they have facials so I am going to go back soon!

God i hate this place, and i still end up going a few times in the summer. Mostly because I don’t need an appointment, there isn’t anywhere else that’s quick and close, and I can get a pedicure for $ 17 in any ‘colllah’ that I want (from diluted OPI colors).
The place is never visually clean; presume their instruments and foot tubs aren’t sterilized either. Mani or pedi, I feel man-​handled. The manicurists frequently ‘take their eyes off the road” and talk way too much to each other in a language they presume their customers don’t understand. Mocking, staring and snickering about your fat customers is universal, no interpreter needed here!
No charge, either, to watch the blaring cartoons alongside the employees’ runny nosed kids who sit on the floor eating Doritos. And be sure to sit in the pedicure chair next to the sleeping older teenage son of the owner. He snores!
