I am still going to write my review on this restaurant. I normally travel from VA to CA often and i remember the first time i came here the vibe of this restaurant was so inviting. I would come back every year in january and the owners still knew who i was. Its so sad that they have closed because this was one of the best vegan restaurants I’ve been to. The food was amazing i tried almost everything on the menu except the soups because i didnt have enough time. The owners were great people and you could tell they loved their restaurant sucks this place is closed…

I’m so sad this place has closed! It was an oasis in an otherwise awful food desert. I hope that they open at a new location.

The food gets a 5, the wait time and price knock it down to a 3. It’s owned by a mom and pop literally, with strong vegan and christian values. You should stop by at least once and support these good people.

Okay there are a lot of 4 and 5 star reviews for this establishment… But I don’t really know why. I am sure the food is good but the fact that the lady that runs the place gives us a menu and we can’t get what we want is unacceptable. My wife wanted a chikn wrap but was told we had to wait on her husband… What!!! Then she asked about the soft serve ice cream and she was told it would not be available until January… Again What!!! Are you kidding. We simply just walked out. Eat, Drink, and be Merry my Friends.

ove been here three times, and not once have i been disappointed. The chicken wrap is really good, their peanut butter shake is bomb, so is their carob which tastes like chocolate. You need to try this place, its a nice local restaurant and family owned.

We called them up because they were closed and they waited for us so and made our food on the spot!!! Food was full of FLAVOR and consistency which is something you don’t usually expect a lot of in vegan foods. They don’t use any spices that irritate the body so it’s a wonder that the food is so TASTEY! Great PEOPLE(family owned), AMAZING food, health conscience, and caring service. You can’t ask for more! And Cons: 1) Its not a chain! We are from Long Beach and can’t get here very often. 2) maybe have a big table? Not that big of a deal. I’ll eat their food standing up in the rain.

I am a huge fan of vegan food and when I heard about this place I had to try it. I ordered their ranch chik’n wrap and it was delicious! They were very nice, let us stay a little past closing time, and even remembered our names.

It is really exciting and encouraging that Kimberly and Gerald opened a vegan restaurant in Fairfield. I live in Napa and love that I don’t have to drive all the way to Marin or Oakland for a delicious lunch. I bought lunch for me and a non-vegan friend and she was as impressed by the flavors as I was. We shared the All Beafy burger and Chikn Ranch wrap and each had a coconut cupcake. The chikn wrap has always been my favorite until I tried the beafy burger. The flavor and texture of the burger was amazing. I love it! It rates right up there with the Urth burger I had at Holstein’s in Vegas earlier this year. The cupcakes were sweet, light and delicious. My husband works in Fairfield so now I have an excuse to treat him to lunch at Vegan Paradice whenever I want! The owners of the restaurant are also a couple of the nicest people I have ever met. I plan to eat here often and support this wonderful vegan restaurant!

We’ve been to most every vegan restaurant in the LA and Orange County area(where we live) so while on a road-trip I took a shot in the dark and looked for a Vegan place in the Napa area. Vegan Paradice popped up and everything on their online menu looked great, we were not disappointed. While yes, the atmosphere leaves something to be desired, the helpful, friendly and unpretentious service left us smiling and appreciating such genuine business owners. The food is fantastic. Period. Our carnivorous oldest child devoured his«All Beafy Burger» and my boyfriend commented how he was surprised at the condiment blend on the«The Grilled Chicken» and loved it! Great staff, quick service, fantastic food and as long as you don’t walk in with a snobby attitude about the décor, this place is 5 stars!

My nice and very patient GF and I were a bit freaked out here. We mutually tried not to say anything about the quasi-memorial service music, the glacial service or the kinda cheesy-creepy religious decorations – lots of pastel purples like your fundamentalist protestant great aunt might have. There was no line when we walked in and there was only one other couple waiting for food. But it took about 25 minutes to get our food. Which we didn’t eat more than a bite of. The owners were polite, but I just can’t recommend this one.

Positive: Vegan food that tastes great! Negative: Eating area needed some upkeep and the massage music/god theme is not welcoming. I am not a Christian or Catholic. Slow service. As it’s vegan, how can I not give them at least 4 stars? It’s refreshing to see a vegan restaurant in the middle of nowhere like this! We stopped by on a road trip this past weekend. We really liked the sausagy cheese sandwich. It really tasted like a grilled cheese and sausage sandwich! Super yummy. The chicken wrap was OK but not really my favorite. Apparently their cookies are home made and were sold out as well as the donuts. all sold out!

I’ve been here about 3 times and I’ve always found them to be warm & welcoming. Today was my second visit in 2014 and the owners, Kimberly & Gerald, remembered my name. I have had the tofu burger before, today I had the All Beefy with Cheez(vegan cheese). I consider it wasn’t the best burgers I’ve eaten anywhere!

Could it be true? Could Vegan Paradise actually exist in the not-so paradise town of Fairfield, CA? Well perhaps not paradise but«Vegan Paradice» certainly does exist, and it’s paradise if you live or work in the area. PARADICE not being misspelled by some wacky Vegans, but rather being an acronym for health and wellness, or something like that. I had been begging my babygirl to take me here for nearly a year. It’s a little out of the way for us, yet not so far out that we can’t make reasons to drive up this way. Slow forward a year, and we finally found a reason to come to Fairfield. It’s a small family owned operation where you can instantly feel the love that goes into the preparation of the food. It’s certainly nothing fancy, reminding me of a diner or cafeteria than anything else. Unfortunately being a small business has its drawbacks. Their oven was down so no baked goods were available. I think I was even more bummed than my dessertaholic since she had been here before. Hopefully it’s up ‘n running by the time I write this as by all accounts, their desserts are worth waiting for. What we did get to try was all good. The chik’n wrap was excellent! With a flavor dominated by their zezty ranchy sauce and fresh avocado. Everything is better with avocado on it, isn’t it? The sausage biscuit hit the spot as a great breakfast/brunch/anytime really option. Their sausage patty, about the size of a burger was huge and delicious. I’ve never had something like it anywhere else, so one can only ASSume it was homemade? They take this homemade-ish patty ‘n smother it in a tangy, cheesy sauce. That is just what I need to jumpstart my appetite. If the next time we’re here, I hope they have their dessert rotation back in action, so we can end our meal properly.

It’s my second time back this week! As I’ve recently transitioned to a vegan diet, it’s been difficult for me to find a restaurant that could accommodate me. I had to try Vegan Paradice. My first visit 2 days ago, I ordered a ranchy chicken wrap. I must say, I was not disappointed. You could hardly tell that the«chicken» was tofu! I now have a new found appreciation for tofu. The raspberry glazed donut was made fresh and wasn’t the best. I’m giving the maple another shot today though, so I’ll keep you guys posted. But then again, you can’t expect too much from a healthy donut. Also, they’re hand frosted/glazed. –I have now tried the maple and it is the BOMB! My mouth’s watering for another right this second actually. TRYTHEMAPLE. These are guilt-free donuts– what more can you ask for! The pizza is amazing! It takes about 10 minutes to make because it’s made fresh so call ahead. I’ve tried both the tomato spinach and sausagey(sp) pizza. Both are delicious, but both me and my non-vegan friend agreed that the tomato spinach was the our favorite. The teecino(tea-chino) is a yummy coffee-like beverage that is highly underrated. It’s a blend of almonds, figs, dates, chicory, carob, ramon(sp) nuts, and barley. A healthy alternative for my coffee addiction. TRYIT! Soft serve — I took my non-vegan friend here and he believes it’s the best ice cream on earth and always wants to go back for more. I’ve also tried the Grilled Chick’n Burger and funny story; I ran to my dad and uncle telling them that I «broke my veganism and surrendered to a grilled chicken sandwich» then let them have a few bites. They thought it was BOMB and then I told them it was tofu… Ha ha ha All in all, vegan or carnivore– this place is a healthy alternative that everyone will enjoy.

I had went to the Tomato Festival and eventually got hungry. Since I was at the festival i was looking to try something new and different. I don’t go into downtown Fairfield a whole lot so i was surprised to find this wonderful place, a restaurant that actually has a full vegan menu! I am not a vegetarian/vegan, but this is definitely a place that everyone should try at least once … or twice. or three times! If you ever wanted to go that route, this place would definitely help you survive. The staff are really friendly and you are likely to be served by the owners of the shop. I admit I am a bit of a doofus and I didn’t see the full menu that was sitting on the counter in front of the register, the only menu I saw was the one that was printed on paper and posted above the counter and it only had about 6 items, which discouraged me at first because most of the menu items were BBQ flavored and I don’t really like BBQ sauce on a sandwich. I ended up ordering the BBQ Chik’n burger anyways, which was super delicious. I wish I had read the Unilocal reviews and tried the Ranchy Chik’n as that sounds down my alley. The only thing I wish, is if you order the items to go, that the potato chips would be separated from the burger. BY the time I found somewhere to sit at the festival and eat my food, the BBQ sauce had soaked nearly half my chips. I will definitely go back another time, and next time that Ranchy chik’n will be mine!

We came here on a Tuesday afternoon with my daughter for lunch. She told me about this place and honestly I wasn’t really enthuse because it’s all but veggies. I ordered Sausagy cheez and my daughter ordered grilled chik’n. We both shared our lunch and after tasting both I could not believe there is no meat in it. they were delicious. The chik’n tasted like chicken and the sausage tasted like breakfast sausage. The relish that goes with my sausagy cheez was amazing and tasted great. This is a family owned business and both husband and wife were super nice and friendly, they gave us samples of their ice cream… I had vanilla and my daughter had the carob swirl. We also tried their teeccino coffee… all were delicious. Their southern green soup with cornbread was delicious… I will surely have this next time we go there. I could not believe we were at the restaurant for almost 3 hours, just talking to Kim made us feel at home. I go to the library every week and I told my daughter I will definitely come back here again. There is so many on the menu that i would like to try. I never thought vegan food would taste this great and without the meat in it. Please try and visit this place… you will be amazed. The only vegan restaurant in Fairfield!!!

I CAN’T BELIEVEIT’S NOTMEAT! I LOVE bacon and beef but seriously I’m amazed on how delicious our meal was. My mom and I shared the Ranchy Chik’n wrap and Sausagey Cheeez. The Chik’n wrap had all my favorite veggies avocado, sprouts, red leaf lettuce, tomato, grilled onion, olives, gluten free wrap and chik’n. The chik’n tasted like chicken and actually the texture was juicier than chicken! The Sausagey Cheeez was served on sprouted toast, red leaf lettuce, tomato, home made relish and a dill sauce. The Sausagey tasted just like breakfast sausage! YUMMY to my tummy! The relish was addicting! I had to get seconds of that. Before my experience my perception of vegan meals was cold food with no flavor but Vegan Paradice proved me wrong. I’m so glad they did! Our meal wasn’t just an ordinary we learned healthy alternatives in cooking and I introduced my mom to a goodhearted family in our community and I hope by reading this you will meet them too! I wasn’t able to try the desserts because the oven broke but that just means I’m coming back =) I tried a sample of the vanilla-carob swirl soft serve and the Teeccino coffee alternative… Ooooh goodness they joined the party in my tummy! So excited to come back and try the rest of the menu. PS I tried the Southern Greens soup with corn bread, Mmmmhhhmmmhhm! Did you get that!!! I’m AMAZED how delicious the food was and there’s no meat! WONDERFULEXPERIENCE! Thank You Ms. Kim, Gerald and Phillip =)

Randomly found this place on Unilocal while looking for vegan gluten free places for me to eat. Came in on a Sunday for lunch, got the Veggie Sandwich, with the gluten free wrap, and the soup of the day which was collard greens. Veggie Sandwich: Very good, I got it with the must-have sauce, and the fresh cucumber relish, and I really enjoyed both sauces. The must-have sauce is suppose to be like there homemade mustard, it has a nice sweet note to it that I really enjoyed. The cucumber relish flavor is hard to explain, but it was really good. Collard Greens: So I’ve never actually had collard greens, this was a first for me, but i absolutely loved them. I got so many, and ate them so fast. They were in kind of a soupy form, I’m not sure if that’s how they are typically served, but I was a definite fan. I’m definitely going to be getting collard greens when I have the chance now. The owners were very nice, they explained how there food had no animal by-products of any sort, and with my severe allergy to casein the protein found in milk, it was very reassuring to hear them be positive about what’s in there food. I have to take off one star, because of there hours, only open 5 days a week for a few hours, and when I did come on a Sunday they ended up opening an hour later than posted, so we had to just drive around the area till they opened since we came from quite a ways away. And no soft serve :(I was really looking forward to trying that, all the pictures of it look so good.

Randomly found out about this place a couple months ago while I was browsing the«New businesses in East bay» section on Unilocal.I always wanted to try vegan food, so I BM’d it right away. Fast forward a couple months later, I finally decided to check this place out. Hmm. why did I wait so long to check this place out(that’s in my town)? Prolly cause of the prices? & I was a broke college student at the time, so I settled for taco bell or wendys… IDK, but anyways… Came here with a couple of friends after we took a tour of the Jelly Belly Factory. I already knew what I wanted to order beforedhand… Ranchy Chik’n wrap(browsed the menu online). My two friends ordered the beafy burger and chik’n burger. Our orders took quite a while to be ready. As we were waiting we took a gander at all the pictures hanging up above us and realized paradise wasn’t spelt in a unique way, Paradice was actually an acronym(sorta). ‘p’ stood for pray(had a picture of a boy praying), ‘a’ stood for avoid harmful substances(had a picture of a cigarette/alcohol), ‘r’ stood for relaxation?(I forget).well you get the idea. But it was pretty neato! Once our orders were ready, I whipped out my camera to take a few snap shots. then we dove in! The chik’n wrap was really good! The ‘chik’n’ had the same taste, consistency, & texture as chicken. It tasted better than chicken actually. The wrap had nice amounts of sprouts, tomatoes, olives, avocado, & vegan cheese. This wrap was definitely a member of NomNation ;D My friend let me sample some of her beafy burger w/melted vegan cheese & chips and WOW, I was blown away. I couldn’t believe it wasn’t meat! After we finished our food, we decided to split(3 ways) a carob«chocolate» donut(I had been eyeing it throughout our time there). It was good, but not great. It tasted like a cake, shaped as a donut. CAKEDONUT, it was called. I couldn’t believe it wasn’t chocolate. It wasn’t worth the price tho, $ 2.25+tax Gosh, how do they do it? vegan cheese & vegan chocolate. Magic maybe??? :p Overall, we enjoyed our food and the owners were very nice & helpful(answered our questions). They could, however, spruce up the place a bit(this place used to be Quiznos), be more efficient(I don’t recommend bringing big groups, 3+) and maybe adjust SOME of their prices. Check this place out! They’re currently the only Vegan restaurant within Solano County! The nearest from here is Berkeley or Sac-town! I’ll be back(terminator voice). ;)

I tip my hat to the family which started this restaurant. It is very admirable for them to pursue their dream and be able to offer their community a healthy choice for dining. Having said that, my dining experience here was less than perfect for some of the same reasons other reviewers have noted, namely: — The place is not well run — sorry, but the owner/operators do not have their act together and are not efficient. This is as bad for them as the customers since slow service equals fewer customers who can be served and less business! — The menu is very limited(given they owner’s difficulty in getting orders out a limited menu maybe a good thing, for now!) — Prices are not cheap, about $ 8 for a sandwich(in downtown Fairfield $ 8 goes a lot furthur at places like Evelyn’s, Guadalajara or Mediterranean Food Center. — The food was OK but not spectacular I had the«Cheesy Sausage» which was a tofu patty on an Orowheat-like whole grain bread with some sort of vegan cheese. The taste of the marinade came through bit too strong, spoiling the illusion of eating meat. I will probably come back soon to try their Chili Dog. I was told that the«hotdog» is a marinated carrot… interesting! To be honest, If I could give half a star I would have rated VP3.5 stars due to the service and pricing, but I appreciate the effort and bump them up to 4 stars. I would prefer if an Asian-style vegetarian buffet/cafeteria like you can find in the South Bay were to open up in Fairfield!
