Updated information needed on Unilocal profile. We showed up slightly early(though according to Unilocal hours, they should have been open) and the woman working was very rude when I tried explaining that the hours on their Unilocal page showed them opening earlier. We just left, rather than wait 15 minutes, only because she was so unfriendly.

The best bread I’ve ever had! The seniorita bread is always made fresh. Just be careful… As other Unilocaler’s have said, it’s so addicting. It’s like eating popcorn, you just keep popping them in your mouth. You have to try it!

OMG this bread is amazing! And addicting! One person can easily eat a bag of 5 breads. Just make sure you get in your car, drive away, and then try the bread. Otherwise, you might just gobble them up and walk right back in there for a box of 20. Butter + Sugar = delicious Parking is easy, there’s a lot.

Between this and my Quickly boba drink, my Asian half has been satiated. Looks like all the others. Same wonderful taste also. Don’t be afraid if there is no one behind the counter. They’ll pop out from behind shortly after they hear the door bell.

OMG as many have said before, the freshly baked warm señoritas melt in your mouth! We stopped by after smelling the Filipino bakery smell next door at Ikoi Sushi. Seriously, living in the Bay Area has me accustomed to the smell of Valerio’s bake shop so I knew it had to be Filipino run. Being new to the shop, we opted for the $ 6 fifteen piece box and wondered why we didn’t get the $ 8 twenty piece … tried the mongo hopia and it was ok, karaoka?(4 round ball almost hollow brown sugar glazed dessert/snack on a stick) was ok as well but not the best I’ve had. I prefer a warm chewy interior with a slightly crisp exterior from the hardened glaze. Customer service was on point and they mentioned the Newark location(which I realized I’ve passed by on many occasions but had no idea what was in store). The mom of the duo we encountered was super friendly, plus I now understand why I saw so many people of various ethnicities buying boxes of fresh señoritas– deliciously satisfying and service is pleasant. It’s cool how they have plenty of rows and stacks of boxes varying in size waiting for their crowd pleaser to be placed inside behind the counter. My stomach’s churning with anticipation as I imagine freshly baked señoritas aye yi yi. Please do yourself a favor and get a box of these tasty morsels: butter, sugar, and a tiny bit of cinnamon go a long way.

FINALLY! A place that has lumpia and only $.50 each. They also have ham/cheese sandwich type things, hotdog roll, but the star of the location is the seniorita bread. WHATDID I JUSTEAT? One of the best things ever. That’s what. If you are in a 30 mile radius of this place, stop and pick up a box of them! You won’t regret it.

I came in to get a couple boxes of bread for a party and one for me to just take home for the week since I do not live near any Starbread. So whenever I go visit fam in the 707, I stock up. The bread was fresh, tasty, and excellent. But! Something weird happened. There was a full try of what I thought was Turon on the counter. The sign right below it said«turnon 0.50cents» I asked the gentlemen behind the counter«Can I also have 8 Turons please?» He put it in a bag and didn’t say a word. I got to my Moms, told her it was Turon because it’s what she’s been craving — and it was beef and veggie lumpia. Oops! I wish the guy told me it wasn’t Turon. Anyway! The bread was awesome! The lumpia was just ok. My kids like to eat the seniorita bread with laughing cow cheese.

Starbread is good always fresh. Only takes 5 minutes to make. I was surprised to see this place here. I was actually eating lunch in the Japanese restaurant next door and even put in the wrong review so updating it now. Will always get their señorita’s…
