Let me start by saying, «fish n chips in this area only get so good».These people are at the top of that list. cod is a little pricey but that’s okay. Everything is good, its nice to see an Asian owned fish place that doesn’t give me a cocktail sauce with a siracha base, all others viewing this, NOSIRACHAINMYCOCKTAILSAUCE!!!

So sad to see this place closed last year. I hadn’t been there in a long time and finally felt like eating fish and chips, but I looked them up and found out the news. Just wanted to say the older Asian couple did a great job while they were open. The food was great and they would remember us and our orders when we walked in. Would love to see them open again and hope they are doing well.

It is closed I went there yesterday and I saw a note stating that the county order them to vacate the premise. It was an actual court order, I don’t know the details but they were in a legal battle. I feel pretty bad because that place was really great.

YUMMMM! Discovered this place during #nomeatfriday(Lent) — Fish & Chips were a perfect choice! I was working around the area and decided to try this place out. They had a «Today’s Special» which included 1 Piece Cod and 4 Pieces of Shrimp w/Chips(fries) and a Soda for $ 9.99 — What a DEAL! Their batter was just perfect! The tartar sauce they had was also YUMMY — goes VERYWELL with the food. Fries were good as well. Overall, I had a good experience and will definitely come back to visit if ever I’m in the area again. I’ve already mentioned this place to my family that’s local

For Fairfield, This place really deserves 5 stars. The fish & chips with Cod and a side of Oysters was worth going back for. My boyfriend got the two piece Cod and wished he had ordered three. Yes the fish is tender perfectly fried and the sauces are good. I want to come back here. The couple who own the place were adorable. If you are looking for great fish & chips in Fairfield its really a no brainer. I was impressed.

I found Glory’s through Unilocal and figured I’d give it a try since everyone had such good things to say about that place. And I gotta say, they were RIGHT! By far, they made the best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time. I never use to eat fish, but this place will make me a regular for sure. The fish was cooked fresh and clean, with that amazing tartar sauce they have… man, I ate every last crumb off my plate. They give great portions and awesome service. with nice smiles and constantly cleaning the place to look fresh for the next guest. Also, we went in 30 minutes till closing, thinking they’d be cleaning up and we’d have to take it to go, but it was packed to the brim with happy customers! We were able to sit and enjoy our meal, there was absolutely no feeling of being rushed in any way. I wold recommend this place to any and all of my friends. I will be going back for sure!

This is by far my favorite fish and chips place EVERRR! It is a cute little mom and pop shop owned by the sweetest people ever. The service is amazing and what really stood out to me was that when I asked to order oysters they were really honest and told me that it wasn’t in season and the quality wasn’t good so they didn’t feel comfortable serving for me. Thank you for the heads up! There is literally nothing to complain about with this place. I even went here with my boyfriend on Valentines day. We both love this place. Everyone! You have to try this place out you won’t regret it!

I went here and ordered the lunch special. I paid $ 10.75 for 1 piece of cod fish &4 prawns. As I waited at my table, I noticed that they play soft rock in the background and that the place was very clean. I thought I would have to pick up my food, but the lady brought the food to me which was nice. The cod was very delicious. I’ve had fried fish at other places before where I felt it was too fried to the point of not being able to taste the fish. The cod here was not too salty and not over-cooked. It had a crispy outside yet was very soft inside. I could actually taste the cod meat as it was tender and not chewy. The fish was easy to bite into and didn’t have a lot of the deep-fried batter. Took me about 6 – 8 bites to finish this one piece of fish. The prawns I got were pretty big. Again, they were not too fried, I could actually taste the meat, and they weren’t chewy. I dipped these in ketchup and they tasted very delicious. They didn’t taste bland or just like deep-fried batter, you could actually taste the prawn. It took me about 3 – 4 bites to finish one piece of prawn. The fries were of the thick cut variety. They didn’t taste too special and tasted just like any other fries you could get at other places. I felt that they didn’t have enough salt on them. However, I just sprinkled salt on them from the table then I was good to go. This is a great fish and chips place. There’s lots of space in the parking lot and it was not very busy during lunchtime(I went about 1 pm). If you’re craving fish and chips and are around the area, this place is to eat!

I paid $ 10.74 for the fish & chips meal that came with 2 pcs of cod & some fries. The size of the fish are pretty big(like the size of my hand) and the cut of the fries are thick, soft, and fluffy. I came here excited to try their homemade tartar sauce because everyone on here has been talking about it andI agree, it’s pretty good! The fries on the other hand needed more salt. In my to go bag they gave me a bunch of Hunt’s ketchup, so it made up for that. I was glad to see that they were serving brand name ketchup, lol. I guess it doesn’t matter but it’s still nice. The fish was battered perfectly. It wasn’t all thick and fluffed up full of oil like how other fish & chips serve it and it was cooked just right. I appreciate how they made it as soon as I ordered. It was so fresh that I burnt my tongue today while eating it! Haha. A little too excited I guess. I have to emphasize how yummy their sauce is. It’s not all lumpy like the traditional tartar sauce. It had more of a pureed/creamy consistency which was pretty interesting. They even gave me two containers full which is more than enough for the serving of food they gave me. :) It’s located close to the Solano Community College main campus so it makes it easy to just grab and go. The inside is a little plain, but didn’t bother me. It’s decorated with cheesy fish décor which I thought was cute. The owner was really nice. She is a cute little Asian lady with a warm and contagious smile. :) I want to give this place a higher rating, but since the fries were a bit bland I docked off a star. Sorry Glory Fish & Chips. I am a fan tho! :D

This was an above average fish N chips joint — clean dining area but very basic décor, quick and friendly service. I had a combo with one piece of codfish, calamari and chips. The codfish tasted fresh and was not overly greasy. The batter had just the right crispness and delicate flavor. The calamari came in bite-size pieces and likewise tasted fresh and was well prepared. Cost was $ 9.95, about right. You won’t go wrong by coming here when you need a fried food fix!

Hands down I love this place. Not because the couple that owns it, do exactly the same thing every time I visit but because for the cost and location — you can’t go wrong. Now I must admit, fried anything is not good everyday but when I am craving something salty and crispy. This is the place for me. The place is always clean and the woman that takes my order always does her best to make sure that I have a good experience. Will I go back factor: Yes, matter of fact you might see me there, because I go here all the time. Cleanliness: Yes, very clean. What to order: Pollack and Chips, sometimes the Zucchini sticks.

I come here frequently when I need to bring food home to the hubby after an hour of relaxation at Massage Envy. What I love about this place is: *The Owners are always nice and pleasant. *They pack and secure the take-out food really neat. They even provide you a box like tray so it’s kept all tidy. *They give you plenty of condiments. LOVE the tarter sauce *They don’t drown the fish in hella batter *Cod and Catfish is really good and tasty *Fries are fat and crispy It’s a little pricey but the portions are big and worth and try.

~Amazing, Fresh Crispy Food, Good People~ This place has fresh crispy batter on delicious good size portions. The fries are thick and crispy, and the sauces come in chilled bottles from the fridge with care. The service is friendly, the owners are so kind and always happy to see me and my friend come in. My only regret is that i no longer can eat here because of the distance. We used to try to drive the 2 hours to get there, but since we moved even farther so it is not possible. I wish the owners a happy life and many thanks for the meals we’ve had in the past there! Please try this place if you are anywhere reasonably near!

Was really wanting to love this place based on Unilocal reviews. Alas the fish was good but not amazing. They had good options for various fish. I will say that the fish is well prepared, just not my preference on flavor. The coleslaw was not good. I would not make a special trip to go there, which means I will not go back. Prices seemed a bit high and odd depending on the quantity you ordered. Tip: order one big combo and split it for a better deal.

Our Glory Fish & Chips experience was definitely above several notches in overall taste and flavor versus the traditional F&C chain. This restaurant offered Seafood Combo’s, Kids Meals, Family Orders and Sides. You can dine in or take it to go. For the fish they offered Pollock and Cod which had a bit, more of a premium. We ordered a nine piece cod to go(included chips) and a side order of mushrooms. The fish had a nice crunchy batter and was tasty. The chips/fries were okay and the mushrooms were the bomb delicious! I enjoyed it most dunked in Four Monks vinegar and their house tartar sauce…

Yum! Awesome find in the Fairfield area. They pretty much fry up anything you can think of here. We got the special of the day which was: fish, prawns, and fries + a soda for approx. $ 10. I got side orders of zucchini and oysters which were around $ 4 each. The batter they use is more like tempura than bread. Really crispy and delicious! The fish was tasty and fresh. Prawns were big and also fresh. I’m not a huge fan of their fries… The zucchini was great and fried up perfectly, it was also a lot more zucchini than I thought we would get! Oysters were ok too, comes with 5 pcs. The only thing on their menu that isn’t fried is cole slaw and I’m just generally not a huge fan of cole slaw so I didn’t try it that night. By the end of the meal, I was feeling really tired and lethargic… like most any fried food will make you feel. I think having a few more non-fried food menu items to cut the grease would be helpful. Overall a yummy dinner!

The bf & I tried this the other day and it was really good! The batter was awesome; not the typical«tempura» batter you tend to get at other fish n chips places. They give you all the condiments you need. I would definitely eat here again!
