Best chicken in town. The white sauce, Yuca fries, and a quarter white meat is my way to go. The chicken is warm, juicy and delicious.

Great rotisserie chicken place — haven’t had better in the area. The chicken is the right size and the right flavor. They always cook it right and the yuca is also pretty tasty. Though you may want to order an extra white sauce. It is a little bit«hole in the wall» but I don’t care too much for the environment since the food is quite good.

Chicken here is decent, not spectacular, but good. Came in on a Friday night just after 8:30pm(they close at 9) and ordered a chicken sandwich. I was told that«we don’t have anymore». Really. Wild Chicken… A rotisserie chicken joint, and there’s no chicken to make a sandwich. My guess is they just wanted to get out early(could see the guy in the back cleaning the grill… at 8:35). If that’s the case, just close at 8:30.

I wanted to like this place it’s near my house and the chicken isn’t bad. However the yuca is soggy. And the staff not very friendly. I have been a few times once they gave me the wrong piece then where like mad at me. No atmosphere I can’t imagine eating in that place.

Have been here a couple times now and have generally been quite satisfied. The chicken is excellent. Only a couple pieces of constructive criticism: The place is hard to find. I’d lived in Fairfax for years before I knew they existed. I would have gone here A LOT in that time if I knew where they were. Some additional signage on Rt. 29 would help. Also, they could probably leave the fried yucca in the fryer a minute or two longer. Sometimes it seems little underdone. Their biggest strength though, is their speed. I’ve been in and out in under 4 minutes which is great when I have a really short lunch or dinner break from work. Will definitely continue to give them my business, now that I know where they are!

Today, I went to my favorite place to eat, I feel bad cause it took me so long to give this chicken joint its props. The chicken is like no other, moms Peruvian recipe. By far the best chicken in the area, sides are always hot and tasty. Desert is to die for, several to choose. Do your self a favor stop by and say hi to the next big thing. WILDCHICKENYOUARETHEBEST

This place is delicious. The only Peruvian chicken place we go to. The fries could be better, but other than that… YUMMY! #regulars

Maybe the food and the service at night is not good. The food wasn’t special just ok(yuca wasn’t good) and the service was horrible for some reason.

Not sure why this place gets so many good reviews. 1. Yuca and french fries sides were very small and the french fries were soggy. 3. Chicken was ok. Not bad, bot great. 4. 3 stars since chicken was ok but nothing memorable about the meal.

This place is great! I’ve been to a lot of rotisserie places, and the chicken here is one of the best, if not THE best. The sauces are excellent and thick. The fries and yucca are great. The staff is friendly. They have a great selection of Latina soft drinks, too.

I always love this place in the morning but the service at night is horrible. 2 times this week I’ve heard the workers say in Spanish«don’t want to make it, say we don’t have chicken left» and told use there’s no chicken left, around 8 pm smh

I’ve been to this place several times for Peruvian chicken(love Peruvian chicken). Honesty, because Super Chicken is too far a trek. But, I think this place is pretty good. Not as good as Super Chicken, but a good 2nd place. The first thing noticed is that it’s kind of hard to find. It’s near the intersection of 29 and 50 in the plaza with the Bray and Scarff appliance store, BUT it’s BEHIND the plaza. The shop is not that big and is actually old looking. A little run down. But these type of places have better food, right? I usually get takeout. I like their Yucca. Most of the time they fry it right when I order so it’s nice and hot. I love it when it’s crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and that’s how it usually turns out. My other favorite side dish is plantains. Theirs is hit or miss. Sometimes it’ really good and sweet. Other times it’s bland or not ripe. This is usually fried when I order it also, so this too is hot when I get it. The problem with both these sides at this place, and maybe others also if they pack it the same, is that they put it right from the fryer into the styrofoam box. When I get home, the yucca and plantains has melted a lot of the styrofoam box, if it hadn’t made a whole through it. I always leave that bottom layer because I don’t want to eat yucca or plantains with melted styrofoam on it. I like their green sauce. They do change in spicyness though… depending on the jalapeños, I guess. The white sauce is pretty good also. I usually dip the chicken in the green and white sauce together. So good. I don’t undrstand why these type of places charge for extra sauces though. Kind of petty, IMHO. It’s not like it’s out in the open and people can grab a handful. They distribute themselves so you would think they don’t have to charge for it. This and the melted styrofoam kept me from giving it 5 stars.

I came in a while back about an hour before closing. The guys there, not knowing I understand Spanish, had the following conversation about my order: Guy 1(in Spanish): Do you want to make it? Guy 2(in Spanish): No. Guy 1(to me, in English): We’re out. I smiled and ordered something else. They didn’t offend me: I thought the side conversation was funny. The food was very good. The chicken made up for the comical service. The yucca fries leave something to be desired. They were cut a little too thick for my taste and were lacking the usual flavor I love elsewhere. But I’ll be back.

This is a prime example of a place that does only one thing, and does it extremely well. The flavor in their chicken is unrivaled. It gets super deep so that every bite you take packs that smokey spice-laden herby Peruvian juicy goodness. I salivate as I write. And all the sides are great compliments to the chicken. The yuca and plantains are highly recommended. The staff is always friendly. The décor is bare minimum, so as to not distract you from the main goal of stuffing your face with chicken. Be careful though. Once you eat here, every other Peruvian spot is gonna taste like cardboard.

This place is incredibly delicious and has a great price. The staff is always super friendly too. I don’t think it can get better than this, friendly staff, delicious food and great price this place is highly recommended to anyone in the area. To get here it’s a little strange because it’s in the back of the main building. Don’t let the appearance fool you though the food is incredible. The chicken is nice and juicy and has a great flavor. The yuca is also great and so are the plantines. If you have never tried Slchi Papa you are in for a treat. Get that next time you go. If you come here you definitely must get dessert. Has the best desserts in town. Alfajors are top notch here but so is the flan/quesillo. The best I’ve had in the area for certain. I am now a regular and crave this place all the time. It’s just so darn good. Wish I was there right now eating haha.

Very hard to find, kind of sketchy. They ran out of chicken and it was a 25 minute wait! Left and went elsewhere.

A little tricky to find, it’s in the cut at the back of the building after guitar center. The place is definitely a hole in the wall and I recommend this place. The price is decently priced for a ¼ chicken combo for $ 6.99 and comes with yuka and salad. The salad was tasty and the yuka was really amazing, crunchy outside and soft inside. The chicken has an amazing charcoal bbq flavor skin and has a great marinade that is infused in the chicken meat. I also ordered plantains but they were sub par dry and not enough caramelization; for $ 3 don’t get it. An additional plus is their green sauce. It’s the perfect spiciness and paste consistency. Probably the best green sauce I’ve had. I found my new spot for peruvian chicken in the area. So damn good, I will be a regular.

My boyfriend and I were craving Peruvian chicken one night and had no idea that there was a place down the street from us! Wild chicken is definitely a hidden spot, but we’re so glad we found it. It has a «hole in the wall» feel, but they keep it so clean. We walked in 10 minutes before closing time and they were happy to serve us. The employees are incredibly welcoming, friendly, and really make you feel like you’re getting an authentic home cooked meal. Our meals were made fresh and tasted DELICIOUS. It’s become our go-to place for tasty Peruvian chicken!

I’ve become a regular at this place where the employees already know my order. This is the only Peruvian chicken place I go to for one reason only: the chicken. I’ve been to the other chicken places and some don’t have yuca which for me is a turn off(my palate has those two linked). I kid you not, I have yet to have a dry piece of chicken from them yet. I don’t know if they brine it or whatever but their chicken is always juicy and tender. Their chicken also has a nice rub not only on the outside but under the skin which imparts extra flavor. The only criticism is that you need a drink because you can taste the saltiness. I always get a Gatorade or something to help but I love this place. It is kinda hidden near the Guitar Center(behind it) but it’s definitely worth the find.
