Just stopped for lunch after camping! Great pizza, great service, clean bathroom! We would recommend the Devil’s Dare… delicious!

My work hosted 7 different events where we placed pizza orders and Red Boy was terrific. The manager Daniel was great with communicating and satisfying all of our needs. He even came in early most of the days to cook the pizzas as we needed them in the late morning. Besides having terrific pizza, the customer service was outstanding. I will be using Red Boy pizza for all other future events.

Good pizza. Nothing fancy-pants about it – great sourdough crust, generous toppings, regular pizza-type atmosphere with a TV tuned to sports and beer. Nice! We need more places like this and less of the overpriced wood-fired cracker crust with artful dollops or balsamic reduction tossed with grass fed, blah, blah, blah. A pizza and a beer and a ballgame, nothing wrong with that at all!

My favorite pizza in Marin. Very nice staff, sourdough crust is good, I tend to order ‘well done’ because I prefer toasty to a mushy crust which can happen if you get lots of vegies which I do. Other choices around fairfax are weak

The pizza was mediocre. The soda machine had issues because my wife’s Sprite tasted like doctor pepper. We ordered a water for our four year old daughter and it tasted disgusting so we had to share our soda with her. Over priced for what it is. We won’t be going back.

This is my favorite pizza joint in the area. The pizza is good and the slice and soda for a fin is a great deal, and $ 6 gets you a generous slice and a beer without the attitude of most places in Marin. The pizza is good and they have indoor and outdoor seating is a treat after being inside all day. I love biking down here for lunch or on Sunday to watch the game, and real Parmesan cheese… nice one! Never had them deliver, but with all the hills in these parts, it might take a spell to get there.

We ordered a Med. Pizza, ½ & ½ with NOGREENPEPPERS, we were told it would cost $ 19.69, when the driver came it was $ 24.99. When we called the Manager he said«that they did not change the price and he could show me the receipt» I asked why we were told it was $ 19.69, he said they never said that. Our phone was on speaker phone, & we had another witness to the fact. So all three of us heard the same price & time of delivery. It was only 15 min. late which was not bad this time. But, the Pizza did have GREENPEPPERS. Never again will we order from them. The sad thing is I worked for the previous owner Jerry, and when things like this happened he would handle it so the customer would be happy and come in/or order.

I realized last night that even though we were starving after the Fairfax Festival that Red Boy pizza is not all that good. The crust is actually tasteless. Seriously. The pizzas were not well made, with all the ingredients piled in the center leaving the rim barren of even enough cheese and sauce to make it appeasing to eat. Only the addition of red pepper, parmesan cheese and SALT made the pizza tasteful. I am a meat-lover pizza eater. I ordered a sausage and pepperoni pizza. It came with barley enough of the two ingredients to count as a single topping. Add to that the lack of sauce and cheese on both pizzas. This is only my second order from them even though i live two blocks from the place but will not order from them again. The first time I ordered two weeks ago I gave the kid $ 5 tip, The next day I found my receipt crumpled up and thrown into one of my flower pots in front of the apartment. I should have quit then

Good overall American style delivery pizza. My complaint today: your website says you’re open at noon but apparently you’re not open until 4PM. I just went through the whole online ordering process only to find out you don’t open till 4! Tried calling local store but no answer only generic outgoing message having no red boy branding or info. Pretty good pizza tho. They used to deliver to my old place in the San Geronimo Valley but now I’m in Woodacre(up a hill but just about as close time wise) they don’t deliver here. Oh well. Overall, tasty predictable pizza.

Red Boy Pizza is less than a minute drive from where I live on Sir Francis Drake so I go there once in a while. Their $ 5 special gets you two good sized slices and a soda. That’s an amazing price for a very good quality pizza! The one time I did get delivery they did not give me parmesan and peppers which is odd even Costco food court offers this to you!

My average pizza(without parmesan or crushed red pepper) is slowly cooling as I write this… Tonight was the last straw. Really the last. I’ve probably ordered pizza from Red Boy 20 times in the last three years. And they blow it more often than not, but they’re the only delivery game in my area. But after tonight I’m done. How many pizza delivery places have drivers that regularly and consistently forget the two most essential pizza /italian condiments on the planet(crushed red pepper and parmesan cheese)? Red Boy on SFD does! Almost every time! But tonight I was careful. I was specific. I knew in advance they had a HORRIBLE success rate at actually remembering these items. So I specifically ordered them ! What’s more, I actually made sure when the girl that took my order read it back to me that she included CRUSHEDREDPEPPER and PARMESANCHEESE in my order. Then, when the driver arrived at my house he says«sorry. no one told me». I said«You’re a freaking pizza delivery driver! Why don’t you just carry this stuff in your car?» «I got cleaned out he tells me. Yesterday. Haven’t had time to restock.» Restock? Seriously? Are you kidding me? Worse, I’d already given this totally incompetent pizza delivery driver a $ 5 tip. So here’s a tip Red Boy management. Hire people that give a damn. It isn’t that hard to have condiments people commonly use to help us choke down your decidedly average pizza on hand at the store, in the car, in every bag. PS: I’m out of the area tonight. This was our move-out meal. What a rocking send off! Well done.

Although most menu options may be overpriced, the do have a special for $ 5 that includes a HUGE«slice» with 2 toppings and a soda. I came here with some friends who are regulars and they said the slice was big, but when they brought out the food, I saw that it’s actually served as two heaping slices!(I guess because it would be ridiculous to serve a slice that wide.) If I had eaten lunch that day, I could have definitely split the $ 5 combo with someone and been satisfied. Also, I didn’t realize until half-way through my meal that they will give you beer, instead of soda, for $ 1 more. As for the pizza itself, it was deliciously melty with generous toppings, so many that you I couldn’t even see my cheese beneath all of the mushrooms and olives I chose! No matter how good the pizza was, I absolutely adored the spongy crust, with toasted edges. Also, our server was super nice and laughed at our cheesy jokes.(Pun not intended…) I can’t wait until the next time I’m back! ****Only 4 stars because everything else seems over-priced, although I didn’t look at much else since we all knew we were ordering the $ 5 special.****

This review rating is based solely on customer service. I have celiac disease — which obviously limits my pizza options. My last gluten free pie at Pizzalina would’ve lost a contest to a frozen Mama Celeste’s. I called Ghiringhelli but despite having a GF crust, they said if you’re celiac, they recommend against eating there due to the high concentration of flour everywhere. So, I called Red Boy and asked them if their GF pizza was safe for someone with celiac’s. I was connected with store manager, Joseph, who said he’d clean out a part of the oven and be sure my pizza was made with as little cross contamination as possible. When I arrived to pick it up, he told me he’d even opened the pizza box in another room to avoid any flour. I ate the pie and had absolutely no gluten reaction! Joseph displayed superior customer service — thanks, Joseph!

We prefer Red Boy. We like their sourdough crust and having the option for crispy bacon, not«Canadian» bacon, topping. A gluten-free option is now available as well; that’s about as «trendy» as they get. Otherwise just a good straight-down-the-middle neighborhood pizza place. Can’t speak to delivery; we always pick up our orders.

First off, their quality has improved in the last year compared to the last decade, so bear that in mind. High quality ingredients, soft small sourdough crust. the pizza is thicker than chain pizza, but not too heft. The pizza is as thick as a man’s hand. they messed up 2 orders out of 20 – 30. They removed an amazingly tacky fake rock wall with waterfall and twinkling lights that was a previous highlight of the restaurant, but I understand their desire to be cool instead of kitschy. $ 5 pizza and drink deal is spectacular, the slice is ¼ of an extra large so it’s 2 large pieces, absolutely worth the price every time. No need for whole pizzas at that price, I think. People, try to think outside the pizza box with this restaurant. I’ve created a green onion, sausage, and brie pizza called the HEARTATTACK. I’m eating a caramelized onion and mushroom pizza right now. Fairfax should be eaten in because chains are kept out. Use those FairBucks. And they have Lagunitas on tap I think.

Tourist trap. Burned low quality pizza. The pitcher of Lagunitas was the high point. Our waitress was cute, but surly. Just because they have a great location is no reason not to cook a decent pizza!

Gets two stars because it is the only place that delivers to the valley. It is generally a one star experience. Sometimes you get a really good pizza from this place. Usually you get something barely worth eating. Often the pizza is cold. Sometimes they don’t bring you everything you order. I once had a delivery guy show up a week later to bring a 2 liter of Coke he forgot to bring.
