Manhattan Pizza

Went in here during alumni weekend to get a snack before some of the events. I ordered 2 orders of mozzarella sticks (a steep price of $ 13 for an appetizer) and proceeded to wait OVER 20 MINUTES for them, even though they had been open for over an hour already that day. When we finally got them, there was so much grease inside them I was worried I was going to be sick if I ate them all. They also made me late to my event because they took so long. Not a great addition to George Mason’s dining options-​would not go here again.

We eat here quite a bit and have had mostly good experiences. We mostly order pizza, chicken tenders, or the cheese fries but I’ve seen and heard they have other good food too. The location is small, but within walking distance of everywhere on the campus. The only main complaint is that the wait is SLOW. I have to budget extra time if I choose to eat here, which for the most part is worth it.

Overpriced but good pizza. $ 3 a slice is pretty high but the pizza was good. The buffalo chicken was awesome but the cheese was way too greasy. I did enjoy the buffalo chicken so I will be back when I’m at George mason

Best fries EVER, pizza is delicious TOO :)

For $ 3/​slice, I’d rather have a slice of pizza from Whole Foods. This pizza doesn’t have much flavor and the crust is worse than a frozen pizza from the grocery store. The sandwiches are better but pricier also.

My favorite place for pizza and just about everything. The food is good and the staff is wonderful.

Average at best. Decent prices and decent quality but nothing memorable. The biggest flaw in the actual pizza is the crust. It’s thin crust which is good but there is no crunch at all to the crust, instead it’s a bit soggy. Lastly if you decide to pick up just a slice it’s not always hot since they don’t heat it up for you.

I love their pizza. When I get dropped off the shuttle and need to grab lunch real quick. This is my go-​to place. There’s always pizza ready by the alive which are huge! So yummy, cheesy, and the crust is to die. I recommend to eat here if you go to school here. Its the cheapest thing that will fill you up. $ 3 a huge alive not bad at all.

Why this place does not have any reviews? We tried it for the first time couple of days ago and their pizza was amazing, but let me break it down for you.
The food:
we ordered two pizza. One is the Mediterranean pizza and the other one was the buffalo chicken pizza. The first pizza was just okay. it is a good one if you want to try different flavor than the traditional, but was not so great that we would order it again. however, the buffalo chicken pizza was very very yummy that all of us agreed that this is our favorite one and will keep ordering it.
Their pizza dough or crust is my favorite so far. the crust itself was very very yummy that no matter what topping you will have in your pizza, your pizza will be delicious.
The service:
I gave this place 4 starts because I waited more than 45 mins for my order to be ready which is not what I expected from a pizza place. After more than 30 mins of waiting, I asked the workers their about my order and they told me thy just put it in the oven! I think 30 min. for preparing a pizza is too long. I would do delivery order next time better than waiting all that time in their shop.
The people who work their are all GMU students and I think they may have some trouble keeping up with all the orders, so I really hope they will have some experienced manager anytime soon for better service.
I am looking forward to try other things in their menu, and really hope to read new reviews about their food and recommendations.
