I was a patient of Dr Kim for may years. I fired him a while ago — I had come into his office, mentioning crushing chest pains. He asked how long, and decided that, since they had been going on for 1 month, it was probably not cardiac. He sent me home with a prescription for Prilosec. Two days later, I was walking and the pain was worse than ever. Turns out that a 49 year old man with multiple cardiac risk factors was having acute angina. I had a 97% blockage in the LAD artery, which was cleaned up by a stent. I could easily of dropped dead from a «widow maker» heart attack because my Dr. though it was Gerd. That is malpractice; however, I took no action because there were no damages.

This guy Gil Kim who calls himself a doctor is only interested in making money on his patients insurance policy. I have been seeing him for a number of years and I had to tell him so many times that I did not want anything that wasn’t necessary but he likes to say«well you are at that age» and try to make me have test and if I did not have these tests he would not renew my prescriptions. Well the last occurrence occurred when they did not authorize express scripts to fill my medicine for acid reflux. The office nurse called my wife’s telephone number and my home phone and was not able to leave me a message on either phone that I needed to come in for a physical before they would authorize filling the prescription for my acid reflux. I previously had always received calls on my cell phone from the doctors office when he use to have a staff that was capable. I think this guy is not from South Korea but from North Korea with his scum bag policies toward patients. Absolutely no respect for patients rights.

I have been seeing Dr. Kim for about 12 years. He first started taking care of me when I was hopsitalized for sepsis and pneumona. He is easy to get an appointment with, thorough and caring.

Dr. Kim has been my primary physician for almost 12 years. I highly recommend him. He’s extremely knowledgeable and excellent with people. He knows many doctors and other health care professionals to whom he can refer patients, if needed. If you’re looking for a doctor who specializes in internal medicine, I recommend him with no qualifications.
