Soltany Mark A MD

Doctor Soltany is a very attentive, caring, medical professional. I saw Doctor Soltany at his office located at 1850 Town Center Parkway, Suite 305, Reston, VA. His staff were all very professional and attentive. I had already completed all of the forms online, so when I arrived, I sat down for 2 minutes, was escorted in to a room by George who prepared me for my visit, and then Doctor Soltany arrived. A couple of weeks later, Doctor Soltany performed surgery on my nose. On the day of the surgery, he was again very caring and attentive. He took the time to explain everything to me, very clearly. After surgery, I saw Doctor Soltany at his Chantilly office. Again the office staff were all wonderful and Doctor Soltany was again very caring and attentive. He explained everything about my recovery, very clearly. He even wrote me a note to make sure I knew what I had to do. I would recommend Doctor Soltany to anyone who needs a nose specialist. I don’t believe you could get much better then that.

I selected him because he was listed in the «Washingtonian» as one of the best. Because of the snow/​sleet, his wonderful receptionist was very helpful & understanding. So, I was 10 – 15 mins. late. The office area seemed nice & clean.
The bad news-​It took him an hour or so to finally see me. No apology except when I brought it up. His staff said that he wasn’t running late that day. He was distracted, disinterested (looking down & toying with stethoscope),& yawning quite a bit. Obviously he had a late night.
Because I had some records with me, It was apparent that he was uncomfortable discussing my concerns because he knew my old MD. I wanted a 2^nd opinion for a recurring issue.
The entire visit was a waste of my time & throwing $ away needlessly in the form of a co-​pay.
