By far the worst experience I have ever received at a retailer. I received 2 new phones that I ordered over the phone, the phones were shipped without SIM cards, I called AT&T and they actually directed me to this location. We had recently moved to the area and the rep looked up the closest store, she also said that my account had been notated that I would be coming in for the Sim card for my two galaxy phones. When I went into the store I was told that there would be a $ 20 charge per Sim card. I explained to the rep that was helping me that I was directed to the store by AT&T customer service and that I was told to pick up my Sim cards at this location. The representative then told me that he would give me The Sim card and charge me $ 40. I told him to look into my account where it was notated that there was no charge, he then informed me that they cannot look into my account, they are only a authorized retail store for AT&T. I then asked to speak to the manager and he told me he was the manager and that the person I spoke to at the AT&T customer service line was a liar, I then asked if he would let me use the phone so I could call AT&T, he refused I then told him I was going to go out to the car and to get a another cell phone and call them and he actually told me to leave his store. I then asked him if he is the manager why he would not let me call AT&T or why he himself would not call AT&T he refused to answer. I then asked the question if he was calling the AT&T representative on the customer service line a liar and he told me yes. I then asked him to call AT&T and tell them that they are liars, he refused and started yelling at me and told me that I could call AT&T myself and tell them whatever I wanted to tell them however I could not do it in his store. When I spoke to AT&T customer service line they were very apologetic and looked up the name of the manager and the man that I spoke to was not the manager. The customer service line did file a complaint on the store and said that they are an authorized retailer of AT&T, however they do not usually charge for Sim cards. They said that I can always go into the corporate store and they’re always free there or they offered to credit my account $ 40 if I wanted to return to the authorized retailer. I chose to go into the corporate store and although the wait was long the customer service is amazing. I would suggest to anybody that needs to do business with AT&T that you avoid this authorized retailer location because they are extremely rude! The corporate store is located not even a mile up the road in the mall and you will receive fantastic service.
