Subway

My boyfriend and I wanted to try a different subway location that our usual spot so we came here. Normally I would not write a review on a subway but we had such a bad experience that I have to. First of all, the girl making our sandwiches acted like she was miserable, had a sour look on her face and was just generally unpleasant. We decided to just forget it and sat down to eat our sandwiches. My boyfriend found not one but TWO BLACK HAIRS IN HIS SANDWICH. He was disgusted but decided not to say anything at the time. The teriyaki chicken in my sandwich tasted so horrible and was hard. I couldn’t even eat it. My bf had the girl make me another sandwich but we were so over it that we just wanted to get out of there ASAP. If you want subway do NOT go to this location. We are still grossed out.

I have been coming to this Subway for over 3 years and I loved it. I always ordered the same sandwich and the workers knew what is was. The business recently changed hands and everything has gone downhill. My daughter got a sandwich on a busy Saturday and she told me her bread was hard. The store used to open at 7am and now it opens at 8am. When I come in at 8:20 am the oven is not on so I cannot get my flat bread heated. the flat bread tends to be hard if not heated first and this is what the previous owners told me. I asked to speak to an owner but the worker told me she hasn’t seen them in weeks and doesn’t know when they will be in. I told her she will very likely be losing my business since I can no longer get the sandwich I have been eating for the past 3 years. In addition, most of the old workers have left since the new owners have taken over. Says a lot about the place.

I bought a $ 35 Groupon for a $ 49 Party Platter. It was a good thing I purchased it when Groupon was running a special so it only cost me $ 30 since the platter only cost $ 30 regularly. The people behind the counter did not know that a Groupon was prepaid or anything about the Groupon promotion. They thought it was just a discount coupon and told me to throw it away because the Party Platter is just $ 30 normally. The called the owner to find out how to handle it the owner confirmed it was for the $ 30 Platter. It is only a dishonest business person that would want to sell a $ 30 item at a discount for $ 35 and claim that it is worth $ 49. The people behind the counter were really nice but the owner is a crook. This makes me wonder what else I should be concerned about patronizing this store. I will not come back.

Very disappointed! I called at 8PM today and asked what time they were closing today. A nice gentleman said open until 10PM. I sent my husband to pick up some sandwiches at 9:05PM and the door was locked and the two women inside waived him away saying they were closed! NOT GOOD that was why I called!!! Do not go to the MAPLE AVE location in the evening, the staff doesn’t abide by the hours!

Nice and clean! The only thing was the bread that wasn’t fresh. We ordered honey oat. I wish she would have told us that the bread wasn’t fresh and we would have changed to fresh ones.

One of the largest Subways I’ve ever been to. The spacious seating area is always nice and clean and the staff are all really friendly. Also, they even have great Hershey’s ice cream.

Located on my way to school but I usually get the same sandwich (BMT, lettuce, American cheese, oregano, salt and pepper, vinegar and oil, onions all on Italian). Now if you cannot make this sandwich then you are just not trying. The restaurant is usually empty with maybe one or two customers sitting down to eat. So I find it more useful to just grab my sandwich and go. The only Subway that I actually sit down in is the one in Hackensack.
