Awful place! Overcrowded and the staff puts all their focus on the big birthday parties. Staff not involved in a big party stands around and doesn’t make a move to be helpful or friendly. All of the staff including those involved in the big parties were indifferent with lot of eye rolling, talking and complaining to each other. Although the kids might not be paying attention to what they were doing I was! I was told no services could be added because of the big parties however they could just paint the girls toes. So, a so called updo, make up — standard colors using cotton balls and minimal nail polish colors — 1 light coat. We were put against a wall with a mirror that was away from the«salon» area and runway. Essentially near the storage area of presents and food and coats for the big parties. FYI **Double dipping the cotton balls defeats the purpose of maintaining sanitary conditions.** I held my tongue through all of this for the sake of my granddaughters. When I went to pay the bill imagine my surprise to see that $ 10 + tax was added for each girl to paint their toes!!! Seriously! Have the courtesy to tell the customers the costs you are adding so they can make an informed decision. That was an outrageous amount of money to spend to add toes being painted that smeared off before they were out of the chairs. The money I spent in this place was a total waste! I will go to a real salon next time to get real services by licensed staff that want to do a good job and take pride in their work! To be honest the health dept needs to make a visit for dirty and unsanitary practices as well as the fire marshall for blocked entrances with carts and overcrowding. I will never every go back to Sweet and Sassy nor recommend anyone else waste their time and money. My rating? A big fat zero!
