Great place for breakfast. Good food, fast service and reasonably priced. Kids pancakes are so big my two kids can share and still not finish.

My new favorite Rhode Island diner. The place is cozy; service is good. Coffee is better than most diners.

My fanicee & I was looking for a new place! New to this area so just trying to get the lay of the land! Lol Found this cute place, it was kind of busy but not a long wait at all, food prices were phenomenal and the portion sizes were huge!!! $ 4.99 for eggs toast home fries and a large pancake. I am stuffed. I would choose a local small town business over a franchise dennys/ihop ANYDAY

We always have a good meal there, good portions and good prices. They have plenty of specials and desserts. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because their waitresses need to improve a bit. Forgetting our whole order one time, then forgetting my side dishes another.

Prices are so reasonable, food was delicious and the best part is that you can chose if you want homefries or a fruit cup(all fresh fruit) and the price doesn’t change. Ordered the egg white veggie omelet with feta, came out quickly, tasted great, and the home fries were good. Cute diner place inside and more seating than you would have expected when you look from the outside. I would definitely come back bc you can’t beat the prices and the service and food was great!

I’ve known about this little diner for some time, and was quite eager to try it out when I finally got the chance. I do quite a bit of travelling, and as a European I don’t get to visit real American diners very often. I came in on a Sunday morning, just after the morning rush. Service was very friendly and quick. I had a huge omelet with home fries and toast, which was very yummy. I must say that the coffee in states often are rather«thin», compared to what I prefer, but the coffee at the Middle of Nowhere was really good and full of taste. The menu is extensive and you can get breakfast all day. Portions are huge and very reasonably priced. I fell in love with the place, and had to go back on Friday afternoon to try the pancakes. I had the banana chocolate chip… and they were really yummy. I’m going back to this lovely place as soon as I get the chance.

Well we stood outside for a piece. It’s Sunday and busy. This is our first time. So we were chatting up a few folks outside. People are so nice here. I picked eggs Bene with a side of sausage. Boy having steak n eggs.

Only discovered this little gem this year, after working in RI for 30 years. Excellent diner food, great specials, quick service, more than fair prices. I am originally a New Yorker and this place passes the NY Diner Test!

Was hoping for a better experience. It was good but nothing special. The best thing is the home fries. The toast came soaked in nasty margarine. At least use butter I haven’t tasted that stuff since I was a kid. The omelet over cooked. Two of my pet peeves toast that is soggy and over cooked eggs. What did those poor eggs do to you and why is the cook mad at them. They should be light and fluffy. Not dry and brown

I’ve been here on 2 occasions and it’s a great country diner. I’ve had breakfast here both times and should probably come here more often.

Found this awesome place on our nowhere journey from Foxwoods to RI for the day… One of the best breakfasts we’ve had in ages… Homemade sausage patties were to die for. This place is the reason I love Unilocal. Before Unilocal and all the helpful reviews, I would not have ever walked in the front door of this place because it doesn’t look like much on the outside — -and that would have been my great loss!!! So thanks other Unilocalers! Anyone looking for a great meal-come here!!!

We strolled in here early morning for a quick bite and with a name like Middle of Nowhere Diner, we didn’t have a whole lot of expectations. I suppose that’s why it was such a pleasant surprise. Eggs Benedict fans, you can’t go wrong with them here. My Eggs Florentine Benedict was delicately cooked and the eggs were perfectly gooey to sop with the English muffin it was served with. And the hash browns were ohhh so crispy and satisfying. It was everything I needed to start my long 9 mile run. The servers were friendly and my coffee cup was never more than halfway empty. Come in. You won’t be sorry!

I come very very close to giving this a 5 star review. Stopped in on the way to the Cape and in an area of the trip I rarely stop we did and found a great breakfast. The simple A13 egg special with toast at 1.99 was prepared perfectly… eggs scrambled without any over cooking and still moist and tender, toast well the forgot 1 slice but they noticed it and fixed before I could notice. Added a side of apples, and the waitress changed my order to include the apples and added an extra egg which saved me a couple of dollars. I know I have a new place to look forward to stopping at out in the middle of little Rhode Island.

The parking lot had a rooster walking around, confirming that we really were in the middle of nowhere. The prices were reasonable, and the food was so-so. There isn’t much else to say. Considering its location, The Middle of Nowhere diner is probably the best place for breakfast in the area, but that doesn’t mean it’s that good. I like my home fries crispier than they were cooked, and overall I wasn’t impressed with the food.

What a hidden, and I literally mean hidden gem! Driving back to CT from RI… didn’t run into very much for a while and decided to stop here, skeptic glasses fully on. Walked in on a Sunday afternoon, not busy, but not empty. Welcomed warmly. First glance through the menu, prices are more than reasonable, they’re cheap! Standard breakfast fare; above average on portions and taste I would say. I wish I had tried the biscuits and gravy, it looked delicious. If it weren’t so far, I’d be back often. TRYITOUT!
