Apparently they aren’t closed but have changed names and I haven’t been there since November but before you write them off I’d suggest calling. I had take out around Thanksgiving and it was good.

First time here and this place was great. It was past 7pm and it was busy which is a good sign. Had the buffalo wings which were excellent. In addition, had the fetticinni alfredo with sausage. It was amazing and I couldn’t finish it all as it was such a large portion. The wait staff was friendly and courteous. Please stop here if you are in the area.

Been here many times! One of the best tomato pies in the area! If you’ve never had a Trenton tomato pie you are missing out. Thin crispy crust with chunky tomato sauce and lighter on the cheese.

We had a GC and ordered online which is thru grub hub. I ordered a Sorrento panini and got a Sicilian panini! I should have gotten a breaded chicken with spinach and provolone, I got instead a grilled chicken with artichokes and eggplant!!! We also ordered a Sicilian pizza which was NOWAY as good as Pennington Pizza! I don’t think I ever walked away from a meal here thinking, «that was delicious». humph

Best tomato pies in the whole US. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended. I always stop by when I am in around Princeton for work.

We had 25+ pies delivered for lunch, that arrived exactly on time and very hot. This is the local favorite of our office. The pizza and the customer service is much better than the other, more popular places in Pennington. We will definitely be ordering our pizza from here in the future.

Never disappointed. Sometimes gets crowded but worth it. Tomatoe pie is one of the best in Trenton area & therefore NJ! Also, wraps and panini are very good. One of my favorite places to grab lunch. Prices are very fair for what you get.

Old Style pizza joint with a broader menu to attract more diners into their cozy dining room. Problem is that while the Tomato Pie and the other spinning disks are very good, the same cannot be said for the rest of the in house cuisine. This was my first visit to Palermo’s III after visiting the others in Hamilton and Bordentown. The Tomato Pie is thin, crisp and nicely spiced here, but if forced to compare with its former siblings, it would come behind the Bordentown establishment for quality pies. We also ordered a family sized Caesar Salad and Sautéed Spinach as a side dish to get in our veggies for the day. The Salad was just okay with nice Romaine, Shaved Carrots, Onion and Croutons. However, the dressing came in a small plastic container and was mass produced and lacking in true Caesar flavor(no anchovy taste). The Spinach was definitely from the freezer and was a watery tasteless waste to eat. Very disappointing, and not worth the $ 6, by half. Lesson learned. Stick to the pizza and tomato pies, and leave the rest to those who don’t know better.

I went there just to try the gluten free pizza and it didn’t disappoint. Honestly, it was the best gluten free crust I have had anywhere. It was light and I actually questioned whether or not I was eating a gluten free pizza. I would have liked the tomato sauce to have a bit more salt and they could put a little more sausage on the pie but overall it was really good. I am going to go back and try their gluten free pasta dishes. I think it was $ 14.75 for a SMALL pie with 2 toppings but when you are gluten free you get used to paying too much for your food. When I say small, I mean tiny when compared with the size of an average small pizza. But, I will still go back when the pizza craving hits because it’s hard to find good gluten free pizza.

We almost ate at Danny’s Tomato Pie, but read a review to try Palermo’s instead. Soooo good. We were only in town for a short time and ate there two out of three nights. Loved the Sicilian pie with the chunky tomato sauce. Yum! Awesome service as well. Ask for Rachael.

I needed delivery so I called this place for some pizza slices. The flavor was good but the pizza was lukewarm. If ordering pizza for delivery I’d say to ask for some extra time in the oven so it’s nice and hot by the time it gets to you. The tomato sauce was more tangy for my taste but the pizza crust was nice and crispy.

Margarita, eggplant and ricotta, and potatoes and sausage. It was ok. Good thin crust. Tomatoes a tad sweet. Overall good pizza.

I used to order from here in college and remembered it as being pretty good. I was needing to eat lunch recently and decided to order from here and give it another chance. If you’ve ever called an ex-girlfriend before and didn’t know quite how the phone call was going to go, but then it went poorly, and then you beat yourself up for it for expecting anything more than that, you probably know what it’s like to order from Palermo’s. I got a cheesesteak and ten wings. The wings were mild, which is not what I was hoping for, but tasted okay. The issue was with the small things we’re apparently passing off as wings in 2015. There was practically no meat on any of the bones. I think if I weighed by volume the sauce and actual chicken meat, the sauce would weigh more. I might actually do this, this sounds like a great idea. The cheesesteak was just okay. I took issue with the fact that it’s 2015 and I’m being charged for fried onions(you literally only get a cheesesteak, and any additional stuff you have to pay for)(also, I don’t understand the logic of fried onions and raw onions both costing the same [you would think that fried onions would cost more, but they’re both fifty cents]). This is one of the many places in the area that probably wouldn’t cut it anywhere else, but because it’s next to colleges it finds a way. The next time you’re wondering what your ex is up to, don’t.

Based on the reviews and recommendation from a friend I thought I would be more impressed with this place. Pizza was«okay» and got cold too fast. Waitress hardly checked on me. I sat with an empty water glass for a while(with my mouth burning from red pepper). Couldn’t even ask for more napkins since she didn’t come back by, so my one napkin went to shreds. Traveling and eating alone should not mean you get crappy service. And I’ve had much better pizza elsewhere.

This is my go to place for take out at least twice a week for the past year. While I haven’t sampled everything on the menu, I can say with great confidence that the Palermo Salad and the Palermo steak sandwich are our FAVES. I always have leftovers for the next day!

We came on a Saturday night for takeout, we were the only one here. Everything we ordered was great. The steak special was delicious and the chicken scampi is amazing. Everything is well worth the price we paid for. Will def come back again!

This has been our go-to place for delivery and take out for the past 2 years. We are loyal to a fault without trying any other pizza joint in the area. Super fast delivery and everything is always hot and fresh. The only thing we have not re-order are the wings which are tiny and practically meatless. More recently the bottom of the pizza has been consistently charred and we have been a little disappointed. Not ready to move on to a new place yet; Palermo’s strong!

BESTTOMATOSAWCE!!! I had the Eggplant Parmesan and it was BOMB. They slice it pretty thin, cover it in red sauce, mozz cheese and more of the delicious red sauce over it, side of pasta, soup or salad. $ 15 not bad at all. My husband had the meatball sandwich, I tried a bite, it’s not my fave. The server seemed like it was his first day on the job, but we all had to start somewhere ;-) First time in NJ for me and it wasnt a bad place to start for good eats in the east. Compliments to the mom/pop who decided to make their kitchen a reality for Jersey noobs like myself.
