I’ve always been curious about this place so my family and I decided to give it a whirl last night. Must say I was very impressed from the get go. Hostesses were very friendly and efficient at seating us. Our waiter(Andre) was very attentive and knowledgable about the menu and evening specials. Food came out quickly and hot! The patio is very nice place to enjoy a meal outdoors as well. Everything was tasty and the service was great, so glad we went and tried Erini out. We’ll be back!

Great outside sitting area. Pretty large menu with reasonable prices. The waitress was really nice too. Service was a bit slow, but the food was tasty — I really liked the beef gyro and the rice pudding. The complementary bread was ok. Special mention to the cute friendly cat that seems to live there!

Was here for a luncheon so the food was pre-ordered. Service was great and the staff was incredibily respectful of the meeting going on while trying to get everyone drinks, their correct meals and dessert options.

My family took me to Erini for a birthday dinner on a Sunday evening. We arrived promptly only to find them totally overwhelmed and unprepared for us. After a wait while the hostess seated diners arriving after us outside, we got our table with a lovely view of the kitchen fence. No menus. No water. No server. Finally were able to order drinks which took about 15 minutes to arrive. Another 15 minutes later ordered salads and dinner. Salads showed up about 45 minutes later with dinner also much delayed. Several tables of diners were joking about the long wait for food and wondering whose would arrive first. Our server apologized at least a dozen times and said they never expected the amount of diners on a holiday weekend that showed up. She was clearly harassed and overwhelmed. When we inquired about a manager she said the head chef was manager that night and there were issues in the kitchen. When the food finally arrived two plus hours after being seated it was nothing special. Okay but certainly not what we’d hoped for. As compensation for the delays we were offered two desserts to share among four people. I realize there are off nights at any restaurant but certainly expected some sort of management attention and better staff training. Needless to say, will never return. What appeared as a lovely place to dine turned into an endless evening. So very disappointed.

Celebrated a Birthday, restaurant offers at a charge a candle in dessert. Candle looked nice but a bit pricey given the cost of dinner. The food was tasty and wait staff was good this time. We ordered several of the specials and they were on point. We will return and try this restaurant again.

From start to finish this place is awesome. Drinks are very tasty. .crab cake OMG one of the best i have ever had. My hubby had the veal which was so soft he did not need a knife. We ended with the honemade carrot cake which was scrumptious. Going back for the oyster and calm special this week

Went to Erini’s today for the 1st time with co-workers. Food was very good. We started off with the hummus which was very good. I had the Norwegian salmon salad it was very tasty, my co-worker also had the same thing and the other co-worker got a Gyro with fries. Our waitress named Farah was very nice and the service was good. And I also thought the prices were reasonable. Would love to try to go there for dinner sometime.

I was here for a work holiday luncheon… It’s a nice place, mandatory valet. Super cute bar area. Very friendly bar staff. This is my first year with the company during the holidays but apparently this is where they usually hold the holiday party for our office location. I actually wonder what it’s like in the summer… Food was good so I wouldn’t be opposed to checking it out… I will say this review is only really about the bar area and the banquet hall, I didn’t go to the actual restaurant area. The banquet was nicely decorated, tasteful, not over kill… It was a little cold, but eh not a huge deal… The DJ wasn’t very good, like at all, but I’ll let that pass because the food was delicious! Everything I had was awesome especially the prime rib. Oh and the drinks were on point as well. I’m already looking forward to next Christmas lol

This is such a great find that I hesitated to rave because I do not want it to get over crowded! Fresh food prepared perfectly, warm friendly servers whom are engaging and provide professional prompt service. The chef Nick is extremely talented with not only his incredible culinary skills but he has a garden in which he puts garden fresh items in his dishes. Alex, Vince, and the female bartender Kyle are wonderful. They make sure all that the Erini guest feel welcome and taken care of. This is my favorite regular go to restaurant! Fun outdoor tiki bar weather permitting and notice the fabulous gardens that Nick plants makes the tiki bar feel like you are in the tropics. Additionally Christmas lights are spectacular and it feels like a winter gingerbread wonderland. Thank you Erini for all of your hard work. We most certainly appreciate it!

Always good food. Not a fan of Mediterranean but there are other options. I recommend the fried calamari and chicken dishes.

I stumbled upon this on a business trip. I’m so glad I did! SERVICE: the service was great and attentive. Sometimes it was slightly slow since they were packed when we went, but this is not the type of place you want to rush at anyway. The server was very knowledgeable about not just the food but wines as well. What I also liked was how well they take care of you without interrupting your conversation every five minutes. AMBIANCE: by far, the best part! The patio is absolutely gorgeous. They grow herbs and vegetables on site, and our server let us know what parts of our meals were from their vegetable garden which was pretty cool. This place is incredibly relaxing. FOOD: the food was very creative, but you could find standard fare as well. Both my guest and I tried what our server said were local favorites. There wasn’t anything that really stood out as «unforgettable», but as a whole everything was fresh, hot, and went great with our wine suggestions from the waiter. PRICE: We spent about $ 60/pp including wine and appetizers. We skipped dessert(too full). But if your price point is more $ 30/pp you would still be able to find something.

I only dropped a star because the place is a bit overpriced. Otherwise: great service, nice space, and very good(if not great) food. Love the mixed grill.

Erini was a wonderful surprise. I had never heard of it until the day I went, but I couldn’t have been more impressed. The chicken marsala and roasted halibut were both sublime. And I somehow found room for the chocolate lava cake, which proved to be a perfect end to the meal. Although it was dark, the outdoor section looked gorgeous and I loved the aesthetic of the dining room. The bar seemed slightly out of place, it almost looks like a mini sports bar tucked away but it is separate from the dining room. Overall, the best meal I’ve ever had in Ewing.

Erini is such a big space! I was shocked after walking into the main building, it seemed to go on and on! Also, the outdoor space, while a Tiki Bar is a little random for the area, has great landscaping and a nice relaxed vibe perfect for the summer. That is where I sat for dinner so it was an enjoyable experience. The food was good, I wasn’t blown away but I certainly wasn’t disappointed either. My Mojitos were delish(had to get a tropical drink to match the Tiki vibe) and my halibut was cooked well(not overly flavorful which was a little disappointing) but still I was able to eat most of it and the potatoes that came with were actually cooked really well and that was a nice side dish! Everyone else at the table felt the same way, everyone was able to eat and enjoy everything but no one left blown away. It’s definitely worth a trip if you’re in the area since it is a nice experience, the drink menu was substantial, and the food menu itself has lots of different options for everyone.

One of my few 5 star reviews. I’ve passed by this place a bunch of times, never thought it was a restaurant. What a pleasant surprise. Staff very friendly, bartender Kyle was hilarious. Food was top notch and not pricey. Crab cakes were AMAZING, def recomend them. I had the prime rib, phenomenal, and cooked perfectly mid rare. Garlic mash was bangin! Chef Nick came out and talked for a bit, very social guy. Will def be back

Erini is the best restaurant in Mercer County. Food is amazing. Service is on point. The owner is like restaurant royalty. Best thing about Erini is that it gets better and better with every year.

My fiancée has been here a few times to have drinks with friends and wanted to take me here since i love outdoor dinning. The outdoor patio and tiki bar are fantastic. Great ambiance with shade. All of their drinks are made with fresh herbs and fruits which I love. And great draft beer selection. For an appetizer we had the chili shrimp. Amazing. So much flavor. My fiancée had the halibut with roasted potatoes and spinach. I tried some and it was great. Perfectly cooked with a crispy sear and well seasoned. You could tell that the fish was extremely fresh. I decided on 2 appetizers for my entrée– the lamb lollipops and bacon wrapped scallops. I would give them both only 3 stars. Nothing exciting, but I ate it without complaint because they were both decent. When first arriving we were promptly seated outside. No greeted us for 25 minutes. We legit watched the table next to us finish their app, have their table cleared, entrees delivered and completely finished before a server came over. The host noticed and sent the manager over right away. She apologized profusely and confronted the situation head on. She was sincere and offered our first round of drinks on the house. I was definitely frustrated at first, but accidents happen and the manager handled the situation like a rock star which I respect and appreciate.

We went here for date night last night and I was pleasantly happy with our experience. My boyfriend had made reservations, and even though we were 10 minutes early we were sat right away and right by the beautiful fireplace. My boyfriend ordered the bacon wrapped scallops for an appetizer he said they were great with the savory bacon wrapped around them. I ordered the half erini salad as my appetizer– I could probably eat that thing every night! For entrees, I ordered the pan seared scallops with mango couli, coconut rice and haricot vert(spring beans). The scallops were a little chewy– but the coconut rice paired with the mango sauce was to die for. My other half ordered the mixed grill. The pork chops were tough, but he enjoyed the scallops and shrimp. We were too stuffed to order dessert. We would definitely visit again. Only thing holding me back from the 5 stars were my scallops(maybe I’m just a food snob!); and the tough pork. The prices were definitely on the higher end of our budget(great for date night or special occasion). There were no ‘specials’ either. Our server had great personality but was a little pushy when it came to appetizers, drinks, and desserts. Let us decide what WE want! Service was also a little slow; but we enjoyed ourselves and the pace of the food regardless. We signed up and put our email down to receive the occasional coupons and promotions and look forward to hopefully switching our review to 5 stars soon!

I have visited several past incarnations of restaurants at this location on a gentle rise along the Delaware River and Delaware & Raritan Canal. No wonder successive owners have tried to make a go of a comfortable retreat here. It is really quite lovely, especially before dusk when the western orientation raises a curtain on some magnificent sunsets. This was my first meal at Erini and I looked forward to the opportunity to enjoy a repast in the large and well appointed dining rooms of the past. Walking in past the well fed cats, I soon saw that little had changed within. Same bar crowded at happy hour, and same spacious dining area. Although we were early, the hostess easily sat us at a nice table, and the server brought us menus and took our drink order. Seemless. We ordered the Grilled Salmon and Chicken Marsala, foregoing apps and sides in the expectation that we would have a substantial dinner. And, substantial they were. Both plates were large — steamy, colorful and textural in presentation. We dug in. Not to bring you down too quickly, but nothing was quite as good as it at first appeared. The Salmon, although a nice size steak, was not first quality according to my companion. She found it too«fatty,» and less than the tight morsel she desired. Good sauce, nice Roasted Potatoes, but still disappointing. My Marsala has a similar story. The chicken was slightly overcooked in the fry pan and lacked moistness. The sauce, though plentiful, was monotonal and lacking finesse. It was all good, but not good enough to make me a fan. Kudos to the staff that was professional and engaging. The Happy Hour trade is a success, and perhaps that is where the sweet spot is at Erini.
