By far the best garlic chicken I have tried. It is better then fat boys in Waipio, and En Fuegos on Kapolei IMO. It is even better than Zippys Korean fried chicken, yes I know it’s a different flavor. Garlic potatoes are on point, they kimchee cucumbers are good as well.

This place is great. Living in Ewa, the nearest decent KBBQ fast food would be at Yummy’s at the NEX. I just found out about this place last year and finally decided to go try it. I got the BBQ chicken plate and it was around $ 13 and I received a VERY large portion. It was so delicious and juicy. On top of that, my portions for the sides were also decently sized as well.

This place never answers their phone. Never ever ever ever ever ever ever. Ever. I can’t even tell you how many times we have tried to call to place an order at this place and they don’t answer the phone. I wonder if the owner knows that they run the store that way. SMH.

I was surprised by the negative reviews for Pearl’s. I had a really good experience overall. There was no wait and the food was very good. Admittedly, some of the veggies were a little lacking in flavor, but it was still good. We had the meat jun, mandoo, fish jun and lots of different veggies. The cucumber was probably the least favorite. But a good dining experience… and it is very clean inside which is a HUGE plus for me.

We ordered takeout on a Tuesday. A small pan of Kalbi. I usually like their kalbi, but it was old that night. You can tell as the meat had a green tint when we pieced it apart. The texture was very chewy. It was disgusting. I’m sad to say I spent $ 33 on a small pan of old kalbi. I should have known when I called an hour ahead, just because I thought it’d take a while. Nope, they said it’d take only 15 minutes. As for customer service, I’d definitely give that 1 star at the most. The 2 ladies were talking amongst themselves while I just stood at the register. She wondered my way, when she felt it convenient for her. It’s sad when I give a place a high review. Then am disappointed as they don’t stand up to that review.

I’m on my HI tour so my sister recommend we try this spot. I’m all for trying new things so I said sure. First I must say the service left a lot to be desired. I felt like I was bothering the woman behind the counter. Her face said it all. We purchased a chicken and a steak platter. We got rice with cabbage and cucumber kimchi. The chicken was great and the steak wasn’t half bad. I can’t say I’d go back to this place.

Three stars. Sides were soooo bland. Mac salad dry, noodles dry, seaweed lack flavor! Even the corn! But meat Jin and kalbi were pretty good. If you asked me overpriced! I payed $ 38 just for two plates and 2 bubble drinks. Bubble drinks were good but mines was okay. I got the milk tea. Was expecting more flavor since hula shake makes them way better. I’ll try honey dew next time. Overall, it was okay. Customer service wasn’t too bad but two ladies were speaking Ilocano. How do I know? I understood every word lol!!!

All i can say is that the service here is horrible. They just glare at you and look like they hate everybody. The service is so bad it makes their delicious food taste bad.

Food here is ok– customer service sucks! Ladies in front are very short when they speak to you and generally seem annoyed with having to do their job.

The customer service here sucks! I don’t think I would even consider it «customer service» actually. The two ladies working here don’t smile at all, and they walk around looking like they hate their job. Two stars only because the food was decent.

I love their food a lot, once in awhile I come here to eat but today that I came I had this two rude counter help(cashier). I asked them nicely for sizes for their catering for my sons birthday but this two filipina cashier gave me an attitude until I paid for my order. I would give this a 5 stars for their food but because of the customer service I wouldn’t feel comfortable eating here anymore.

Location: They are located in Laulani Shopping Center next to Panda’s Express and Royal Nails. The shopping center has a lot of parking but close parking can get filled up fast during the lunch and dinner rush hours. Food: They sell Korean BBQ from meat jun, BBQ chicken, Kalbi as well as bi bim bap, tofu soup, mandoo and etc. The plates come with 2 – 4 side dishes that you choose. They have noodles, shoyu potatoes, garlic potato salad, Mac salad, Kim Chee, cucumbers, seaweed, bean sprouts, corn, Choi sum and etc. I normally order the meat hub with side order mandoo and it’s good. However I have ordered the tofu soup and it is watered down soup with minimal flavors. I would NOT recommend getting the tofu soup. Drinks: The bubble drinks are okay. They have a variety of flavors like lychee, strawberry, taro and etc. I had the lychee and it was alright. The tapioca balls are chewy. Price: Expect to pay $ 10 for a plate and $ 1-$ 2 less for a mini. The Kalbi is ridiculously priced at almost $ 15 a plate. Overall, this is 1 out of 2 Korean restaurant in Ewa Beach. We frequent this location mainly because it’s closer to us.

The food is good live the portions of the sides but everyone is right about customer service– they need help& lots of it!!! Maybe its because all the workers are Filipina but come on! Serve with a happy face — by the way the stars are for the food

The service there sucks, the girl who was at the counter made like I was invisible, I had told them I had a phone order but they made me stand in the regular line, so what’s the sense in placing a phone order thinking it’ll be faster but you still wait in the long line. I ordered fish jhun, and meat jhun, it tasted like paste, the side order of shoyu long rice was way under cooked, I don’t think I’ll be coming back here again.

My wife talked me into giving them 4 stars based on convenience and taste. I on the other think it’s very expensive for what you get. I think the combo special is almost $ 15. Being Korean I am a snob when it comes to the food. It is good not great. Again convenient.

One thing that completely kills my experience is when I walk into a restaurant and the workers don’t greet you because they are having their own conversation that is probably not work related. Not only did I stand there waiting while they had their conversation, they were speaking in Filipino. I am Filipino myself & can understand that it’s much easier to speak in your language, but it is unprofessional if it’s not relative you serving customer service. But anyway, everything else but the service is good. The food’s great, prices are fair, customer service just needs a little work.

We moved to Ewa so I wanted to try the 2 korean restaurants here. We tried this place first. I’m a big fan of Tasty’s in Waipahu, but I wanted to just see what was out there. I got the kalbi/meat jun plate like I always get. I wasn’t blown away. The kalbi had good flavor, but the meat jun was kind of oily. I got all veggies so I could have an extra veggie. I got 2x cucumber, potato, kim chee, and choy sum. I was disappointed with the cucumber and kim chee. The rest was ok. I also got the honeydew boba drink. The slushy part was really good, but the tapioca pearls were kind of gross. Like they cooked them too long or something. All in all, it was ok. But I think if I had a craving, I would just rather take the drive to Waipahu’s Tastys(we tried Elims, it was even worse).
