Terrible customer service, rude and uncaring. Estimate very misleading, was billed for twice the amount I thought I was agreeing to. When I asked for a discount and/or extra time to pay for the additional amount I was treated rudely and charged even more for late fees and financing. What a disappointment. Too many other tree services available than to settle for this!

My review is based on customer service alone. Ryan(owner) came out to provide me a bid for tree removal and was very nice and professional. We spent some time looking at a particular tree and decided not to include it in the bid but we would do some trimming. Two days later(Wednesday) I left a message for Lam that I would like to hire them but we needed the cost to add the tree we left out of the bid. No call back. On Friday I called and spoke with Caitlin, reiterated the information I left on the message two days prior but did not give her a hard time for no call back. I explained to her in detail the tree we needed to have included in the bid and she said she would speak with Ryan and call me back. No call back. The following Wednesday, a full week since my first message, I called them back. Spoke with Caitlin once again who said that she had just spoke with Ryan and that he would stop by to take a look at the tree. I said that was fine but that I did not want Ryan in my backyard by himself due to my dogs. Caitlin said she would let him know. Now, I still have not expressed my frustration that I have not received a phone call back twice and the fact that Caitlin was supposed to speak with Ryan days before she did. Ryan never came out. I called on Friday and tried to express my frustration and all Caitlin wanted to do was argue to when I had called the first time. Upon trying to get on their schedule I was told that I could not till I signed a contract and that I could not sign a contract till we knew how much the job would be, then she said well I guess we could add the cost later and I needed to provide her with what I had. When I asked what she meant she said the contract. It was all very confusing since I had not received a contract from them to send back. Then I was told that Lam will not even set a date till 48 hours prior to them being able to do the job. This was a new piece of information to me since Ryan and I spoke of his availability and there was nothing said to me about this appointment practice. This would not have ever worked for me as I require more notice then that. I asked to speak with Ryan since I did not trust that Caitlin was actually doing her job since she had forgotten many items and was not being combative with me. You would think as a business owner that Ryan would have called me back but it is apparent that he has enough business. It has been well over a week and nothing. Ryan did have someone else call me to try to set up a time to look at the tree, which of course I was not going to do till Ryan called me back. This person who did call me to set up the time made sure I understood the meaning of the word«confirm», which I was grateful for because my small IQ of 128 has not been able to remember the definition of «confirm». Why would I set up a time to have him come out when the frustration level was already high and Ryan did not care to call me. Why would I give thousands of dollars to people who do not care about new customers. Ryan, just so you know I hired someone who was $ 150 more then you and now he is also going to maintain my acre monthly and plow my drive. Could have been a good customer to you but I guess you do not need new customers. Why would you even come to my home knowing the scale of my job if you did not want to do it?
