Noodles & Company

I’ve never been to a Noodles & Company and I had a couple of coupons. I was excited to try after seeing the new location in Evergreen Park.
My daughter and I came in for a bite for lunch. The menu looked appetizing and had a lot of choices. I was a bit confused by the menu offerings, being that there wasn’t a distinct type of cuisine, but I went with the Pad Thai with chicken, and pot stickers.
The customer service wasn’t that great. The staff seemed unenthusiastic. They really weren’t busy and lacked showing the attentiveness that a customer deserves, especially if they look lost.
My daughter and I placed our order, and we were given no instruction on what to do, where to go. We were just standing. And no one said anything.
After waiting for about five minutes, I had to ask a staff member what happens after placing an order. She asked me if I had a number, which I didn’t receive.
There wasn’t a long wait for our food, and everything looked great. We are the pot stickers first, and they were pretty good. Then we tried the Pad Thai… I was beyond disappointed! It had a weird odor, and tasted horrible. The chicken was cut in these odd pieces, and were kinda big to eat with the noodles. I wanted to complain, but didn’t. I’m glad I had a coupon or I would’ve been pretty upset.
After this first experience, I’m never going back.

Was super excited that there was finally a noodles and co in my neighborhood as opposed to having to go to another suburb or travel downtown to Chicago. Anyway, I had called noodles and co because I had trouble finding where it was and when I called, I was put on hold for about 5 minutes before I hung up and called again. When I called again, I told the person on the phone that I just wanted to know the location. It’s kind of tucked away behind that bank. Easy to miss. So I finally get there and I’m thinking that I was on hold for so long because they must be swamped. I walk in and there is one person in line. Like really? The cashier was slow and not enthusiastic at all. I had to repeat my order several times and emphasize what I wanted — which still didn’t come out right. And then I had to ask for a receipt. Why??? This should be automatic. Got my food after about 12 minutes (too long). Went home and yes I should have checked my order before I left but I didn’t. I had ordered extra spinach in my dish — no extra spinach. If you are going to charge me $ 1.25 for extra spinach, then I want extra spinach. didn’t get any. Sent an email to the owner the same or next day. Never got a reply. Sent a comment in to the website, never got a reply. I think I will just travel 25 minutes in the opposite direction to the noodles and co in orland park. Food tasted as it should, thought my order missed a few beats. Customer service was horrid.

Order the Wisconsin Mac n cheese with Parmesan chicken! Can’t go wrong. My only issue is that to go portions are noticeably less than dine in portions.

Ordered the Indonesian Peanut Sauté along with 3 pot stickers and had a Izze. The food was very good and tasty. I added grilled chicken to my main dish and it came to me hot and cooked just right. The potstickers are to die for. Love them!!! Izze’s are one of my favorite drinks. The atmosphere is nice. Plenty of windows. Table was clean. Service was prompt and done with a friendly smile.

I love noodles and company so of course I was excited to have one open closer to home! Food is great as the recipes don’t really vary from other locations. The girl who served us yesterday was extremely friendly and polite. My only complaint is the odd layout of this place. The order line gets confusing as I’ve seen on multiple occasions people trying to line up from both sides. They need to maybe put arrows on the floor directing people to line up on the one side. And they could use a few more booths or tables, when its crowded there isn’t much to choose from.

Waiting 30 mins inside for a to go order where I called ahead pretty much sums it up. That and the fact that my order sat ready for 5 mins and everyone in the kitchen walked past it without asking who’s it was. When the employee told me it was ready and sitting there, she laughed and gave no apology. Kind of lazy. It’s too bad bc the food is great and EP needed some variety, but other Noodles and company locations aren’t nearly this bad. They seem to still not have the kinks worked out in the kitchen or front registers.

I went to visit this location as I have a few times already since its been open. I find the convenience of using the app to order my meal before coming to the restaurant to avoid a wait. Much to my dismay I came a little after my scheduled pick up time paid for my order and my food wasn’t ready. Then I hear them asking about the order and they come up empty handed. Then after waiting almost ten minutes for my order that should have been ready I went to ask about it the manager was like oh they are making it now. And they had to substitute the pasta, but nobody asked me if I was ok with the change to my meal. So after I witnessed the cook staff and the front having confusion going on I decided I did not want to take a chance and my meal not be prepared right and requested a refund. And asked who the manager was, the woman who took my order and did not notify me of the change to my dish and confirm if I would be ok with it happen to be the manager. She Was unwilling to accommodate the lack of service so I decided as much as I love this restaurant I will just have to travel to either Orland or the South Loop location.

Weak. Came here for the first time and they forgot part of my order. I was told the Mac n’ Cheese from Noodles & Company is great so I made it part of my order. I didn’t have a big order or anything and the place was not busy whatsoever. When I got home and opened the bag my Mac n’ Cheese was no where to be found. Blah. Called and let them know that they forgot part of my order and they said they would send me a couple coupons in the mail and I never received them. I’ll probably end up going to another Noodles & Company but not this location. 1 out of 5.
