Had a «brunch» here a few days ago. A cozy place … with an old fashioned diner feel. Excellent service. Very friendly. Ordered ham and cheese omelette. The dish came with four slices of toast and good quantity of hash browns. Everything tasted great. Stuffed myself to the brim. Also, not knowing the amount of food I was going to get, had ordered a side of cinnamon roll. Forced myself to finish that too. All at an extremely reasonable price.

Best breakfast in Everett. Hands down. The servings are generous, price is great, and service is quick! I venture here as often as possible and have had everything from Omelets to Rubens! Great food and quiet atmosphere.

Our first time here did not disappoint. American country diner food that is well made &LARGE portions. Friendly & attentive, but a small dining room so must get packed at peak times. I do appreciate having fewer tables because it was more quiet than other places. We will definitely be back. The fries are home made & awesome btw.

This rating is based on my whole experience but mainly customer service. I called and ordered for pick-up, a rude lady answered the phone. she was not polite and interrupted me to ask me how i wanted my eggs cooked while I was already explaining that I wanted Over Medium eggs and Wheat toast. She didn’t even listen to me and made me repeat myself because she was talking over me. I then asked If I could please get my hash browns well done because I dont like mashed hash browns with my breakfast. she said I’ll see what I can do(even thought she is not the cook, all she had to do was write it on the ticket or relay the message) I said thank you and hung up. I was thinking that maybe she was busy and just over whelmed which is why she was acting the way she was. I got there and there was not one person in the whole diner. She was still not friendly, nor welcoming, I grabbed my meal and extra Jam(I like more then they usually give out) so I went to grab 2 more and she rudely let me know that she had already put some in my bag, I said OK and continued to grab the two extra I wanted. She made me feel like i was insulting her or something because I wanted more and I wanted to make sure it was strawberry. The food is good except the hash browns are terrible barely browned at all. and since they werent busy I dont think it would be in convenient to leave them on the griddle a little longer then normal. Maybe the reason no one was in there to eat was because the person serving the food is RUDE!!! she had brown and blondish wavy hair and pointy glasses, didnt get her name of course she never stated it.

So far, we have been here twice. The first time, it was ok. Food was good, nothing special. Waitress was rude and acted inconvenienced. Second time was absolutely awful. Waitress, who I was told is the owner, treated us like morons because my husband was conflicted about what he wanted to order. She’s rude and abrasive. Both my husband and daughter had sausage on their plates and ended up sick. I ordered a mushroom, sausage and cheese omelette, they didn’t add sausage so I dodged that bullet. Food was so bland and flavorless that I dumped Tabasco sauce and ketchup all over it. It was SO bad! The hash browns were soggy, not a crisp piece on any of our three plates! It was like potato noodles. So gross. Best part of my meal?.. The toast. Yep. The toast was so much better than my nasty, flavorless omelette. We will give this place maybe one more shot, but I doubt it. We really want to find a tiny little diner to frequent.

Best breakfast ever! Super fun décor and warm, down-to-earth atmosphere is easily found at this quaint little downtown café, where Wendy herself waits on you, cooks AND serves you a plate of generous portions and delicious options.

We felt pretty awkward walking in here. We were on a road trip to apple country, all in jeans, laughing, carrying on when we entered. There was one very quiet couple dining and we were met with a glare from Wendy. We were intrigued by the«best breakfast» claim, so my boyfriend asked what was meant by «homemade fries,» were they home fries? French fries? Hash browns? Wendy goes, «They come from a potato. We put ‘em through a machine, we fry em, we serve ‘em to you.» Ouch. We all ended up getting lunch, and I’d love to give this place a higher review, because the food was AWESOME! Wow! The much-debated fries were piping hot and seasoned perfectly. All the sandwiches were scrumptious and I appreciated that we were the last folks to get served before they closed. I’d love to give Wendy a higher rating but honestly her attitude made me feel like I’d just run over her pet rooster.

Went to Wendy’s Country Café last Saturday the 3rd at 9am, only waited 5 minutes for a table(most tables only had 2 people). Then waited over 70 minutes for one pancake with a side of well done hash browns(when I asked the waitress for them she said she’d do the best she could) and an omelette with toast/hash browns. We were 6th or 8th in ticket line to get food. The waitress was timely with water and coffee refills but that was it. I’ve been a short order cook before, breakfast and lunch. There is no way, none, that we should have waited this long. Very disappointing and even after waiting so long the cook couldn’t even make the hash browns crispy. Food wasn’t bad, but wasn’t great; standard with little plastic containers of smuckers syrup and jelly. The waitress didn’t do a bad job, but nothing amazing. The place only has 10 or so 4-tops, and 4 single stool spots at the tiny front counter. The cook was slower than molasses; if you’re a place known for breakfast fare… get a cook that can do the job. In the time it took to wait for our food I could have driven home and made a breakfast of toast, well done hash browns, an omelette, coffee, tea, milk, water, oatmeal, a toasted bagel, some pancakes, cereal; then driven back to Wendy’s where we would have STILL been waiting for our food. That’s a reason to not go back. They charge you extra per order for take out. P. S. A pair of regulars walked in a few minutes before we finally received our food. They got their food in 15 minutes. P. S.S. Turns out the waitress is the owner, Wendy. Was told by a regular, if you upset her, your food takes longer. I guess asking for well done hash browns is a no-no.

Yum! Yum! This cute little diner offers up some of the best country breakfasts in Everett. If you’re a local, you’ll know this for sure, but if you’re just passing through town, don’t miss Wendy’s. You won’t be disappointed. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was swift and welcoming.

First off, Wendy kicks ass. Secondly, it seems she’s found a steady cook to crank out the orders. With that out of the way… When I lived in Everett this was my go to place for Breakfast. Its cheap, its fast, its good, and its consistent. Find something you like, order it again a year later and its still as good as you remembered it. For that reason I still make the occasional journey back to North Everett just for the breakfast. I recommend the French Dip, Corned Beef Hash, and the Breakfast Sandwiches. I’ve even overheard people from out of town discussing how they’ve been there before and stopped in Everett just for the sake of eating there again. If that doesn’t convince you I don’t know what will.

When we are able to, we drive all the way from Renton to this little gem in Everett. Wendy is so sweet and down to earth and Curtis is a master in the kitchen. The quality of the bacon is really telling of the high quality ingredients used in their menu. I usually go for a breakfast sandwich but when I’m really hungry I order the bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns. Their home style cooking is to die for and its definitely worth a visit… many visits! Also, I think Unilocal says they are closed on Sundays… FYI, she is OPEN on Sundays from 9am-2pm. She will be closed for Labor Day weekend.

Came here for breakfast after the Bubble Run– It was crowded but the place is pretty small, only about 10 tables and a small bar to eat at. Prices are beyond affordable although the waitress was alone and the place was full she did a great job ensuring we were taken care of. I ordered the Steak and Eggs– It was perfectly cooked– SOMUCHFOOD! The other three people I came with were extremely satisfied with their food also– I wish I lived closer, i would be coming here all the time– Great food, Affordable prices? Five Stars!

This place was pretty solid. I got the patty melt which was fantastic, the side of fries that came with it was huge and there was no way I was about to finish them by myself. The ice tea was great and I believe that they made it in house. I’ll be going back!

I thought the breakfast was great! Had to drive by to see if they were open Sunday when I went because Unilocal has their hours listed wrong. I’ll take a picture of the hours of operation as I leave and post it. Wendy is a very nice woman who seems to have a lot of regulars that just stopped in to say hi while I was here. Great atmosphere and service. Breakfast is served all day but they stop serving French toast and pancakes at 11 so make it here before then if that’s what your looking for.

So. It is advertised as «The Best Breakfast». I think an American style café or dinner should have pancakes all day. The menu on the top says«Breakfast all day», then you see the pancake/french toast section and they only serve those until 11:00AM. I have a sweet tooth, I like having something sweet as a part of my breakfast. The only sweet option is toast and jelly. I was so disappointed. I ordered a a Reuben then, not the best one I have had. It was okay, a bit too salty in general. So being pancakes my favorite thing, I would not recommend it. Not pancake lover friendly! Waitress was nice enough. Fast service. Coffee, decent.

I’m always on the hunt for a good standard breakfast and Wendy’s is a little score in downtown Everett! For me the bacon is the true tell on good breakfast, and the bacon here is thick cut and crispy– super score. I ordered bacon and eggs it came with toast and a mountain of hash browns which were not soaked in grease, another huge plus in my book. This is a locals joint, seems like people know each other and everyone was friendly. And the coffee was good, hot and strong. I’ll definitely be back!

We tried this place for the first time today and were really delighted with the entire experience. Very friendly waitress, super cute décor, clean, not crowded at least on a weekday and the food was above average. The eggs were done perfectly and the bacon was really thick and cooked well. I would definitely eat here again. Update: recently ordered the corned beef hash, it was out of a can, bummer. Wouldn’t order that one again.

The breakfast came with good size portion. I am so glad I went here instead of Dennys. The cornhash and three eggs breakfast and an oj cost me only $ 12
