IHOP

So from waking in to walking out everything about this breakfast was wonderful! My hubby got the ultimate breakfast and I got the country omelet with a side of red velvet pancakes. OMG, delicious and HUGE!
I guess we lucked out because the server was great, the food was awesome, service was very fast and friendly, and overall we just really enjoyed the whole trip. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a great breakfast!

Terrible waitstaff! Rude and unhelpful. First time coming to this IHOP and never returning. I didn’t even stay to order because I was disgusted by their first impression.

I live right off the street, so I usually come here after getting out after work for late dinners or early breakfast. Let me tell you first thing first, the steak is surprisingly thin, and soaking in the salty butter. I would not complain if I didnt ask the server that I’d like to have my steak medium rare, and I specifically asked to make sure to cook the steak right because I’ve ordered steak here couple of times. They NEVER EVER could make it right, even the first time or the second time. I think maybe because the steak is too thin. It’s always overcooked or well done. The crepes are too bubly or another word they all were like skinny pancakes. They sucked. Paying $ 20 for dish (t-​bone steak and crepes) from time to time, I’m sad that they cant make it right like they used to. The server (Anishia) made my meal was even harder to swallow. She didnt do her job. She never checked on us, and never refilled my water or even bothered to ask, and she did not even bring me water after I asked for it. Really? After brought the bill to the table, we waited more than 15 mins, she never came back to help us to check out. She was one of the worst server I ever had in America, and she seemed like she just did not care.

I don’t know that I would categorize this place as a breakfast restaurant. …it’s more like desserts.
Seriously. .the menu is a sugar rush. …
New York cheesecake pancakes, Raspberry white chocolate pancakes, chocolate chip pancakes, banana and Nutella crepes, strawberries and cream crepes, etc etc.
So of course we ordered a sweet. …and a breakfast omelette, and a couple sides of hashbrowns.
The photo is blurry. .but the omelette was huge… the strawberries and crème crepes were sweet and tasty.
Our waitress was fantastic, very attentive, and helpful.
It was a nice quick breakfast stop for my daughter and myself. We aren’t big breakfast eaters. …but it was a nice change. Nothing fancy, similar feel to a Dennys or Shari’s, etc. breakfast style restaurant. .but was very clean.

Food is usually ok, but today the egg’s Benedict was a little off. The manager Scott came out and explained that they have a new supplier for their hollandaise sauce, also indicated that other customers have been dissatisfied with the new hollandaise. Fine. So he brings out a ham steak and two eggs; but on the bill the charge for Eggs Benedict still on bill, the difference only being $ 4 but, still. We bring this to Scott the manager’s attention and he refuses to adjust the charges for food that we didn’t eat because it was sub par. No apology from him, our waitress was great, but Scott the Manger should not be in this industry. I will never come here again over a $ 4 disagreement; good business decision Scott.

Holy hell, the service was really unatentave. Waited thirty plus minutes for my check. Server waited on one table the whole time. Boo! When I got the remainder of my check she even kept the coin change. Wow.

Food is good, but the place is seriously understaffed and overwhelmed. Only had one side of the restaurant open because they don’t have enough wait staff.

I don’t know if it was just the moment we went in or the completely awful experience we have just had at two Denny’s before walking in here, but my little family and I very much enjoyed this place. It is very open and may not be as good if very populated at the time we were there. Food was good and server was very good!

Worth getting thru the bad service. Not off to a good start. I stopped in on a rainy day for a warm lunch. I was finally semi greeted with a glance over a shoulder that hollered. ‚” just you?”
” you can just go seat yourself”.
I am in the service industry, and have waiting experience. I was appalled. I seated myself in a booth while noticing. The almost empty dining room. — waiting for a bacon cheeseburger to knock my socks off. Totally worth the wait! Burger is perfect, rings are just right! Thank you IHOP kitchen crew!

It’s an IHOP so I was expecting a 2-​star experience.
This IHOP is well lit, very clean, the service was fast and friendly, and the Southwest Clubhouse sandwich was actually quite good. So +1 star.

We go here a couple times a month on average. I always end up having breakfast because that’s what I really like here. Food is always good, service is good to great each time and very affordable. I’m not sure why all the negative reviews, but I have never had a bad experience in the 20+ times I’ve been here.

There was a hair in my friends breakfast. My other friends waffles weren’t fully cooked so they tasted like dough. Not to mention the wait time for a food was longer than what I’m used to for a restaurant that size. I’d consider going somewhere else next time I’m in this area

Since my last review, we went here again. This time, I took my kids to the restroom, but left their sippy cups on the table and told the waitress we were going to the restroom. Came back and our table had been cleared except for the sippy cups with the staff telling us they thought we’d left. In hindsight, we should’ve left after that, but we stayed and enjoyed mediocre service. This was months ago and every time I drive past the IHOP and think about going in, I remember it and decide to go elsewhere.

It’s a good morning! First time on this IHOP, service is real fast. And I like its ambiance, clean and uncluttered. The music is not loud, it feels like breakfast at home only you got a pleasant server who checks if you got everything you need. I love my Berry, berry Brioche French toast, it is sooo good! And not to forget the Spinach and Mushroom Omelette.

We just went today may 11^th on Mother’s Day, after a usual fifteen minute wait, which I understand we proceeded to wait 45 minutes for out good! After ordering the moment we sat down, when we received out breakfast the country fried steak (mine) had that gold all about it where it’s obviously been sitting for quite some time, and the special mother in Mother’s Day food, was cold and stale, then they told us that the «funny face pancake» for the kid would be a little bit,
This the first time I have ever walked out of a restaurant !!! When we told the manager we were leaving he acted like it was no big deal and everything was totally regular, never have a seen such terrible.
If you ever thought of going to this IHOP I implore you to not at the establishment.

After posting this review and contacting IHOP Via their online forum. I get a call from a representative who speaks terrible English saying he wants me to call back and talk to them about this incident. After I explain to him what happened he starts yammering on and on about how they follow all health codes, laws and standards. When he gets done talking about that I tell him again about how my wife got sick and he talks about how they document and only hold food for 15 – 20 mins. he tells me about how there are no other complaints from that day or the day before about anyone getting sick. I moved onto my next point about how the manager got in my wife’s face before the two even started talking. He responded by saying they follow the highest standards in customer service blah blah blah… They must have told this guy to call me and feed me some bullshit thinking I would be stupid enough to accept what he said. The rep continued to tell me that IHOP would not refund me the $ 12.96 and that they did not believe they did anything wrong.

Been here a couple of times and planning to never return. Horrible customer service every time. After waiting at the door for over 15 mins (with a child) — not one employee acknowledged us — a few waitresses looked at us but gave us no welcome or thanked us for waiting. Ended up just leaving. Looks as if they have plenty of staff, but no one is located at the front desk to greet customers.
Would NOT recommend.

I have been to this location at least a half a dozen times over the past several years. It does not have the greatest food, but generally the service has been quick and efficient. It was frustrating today to have to walk out after told to wait and then ignored while the waitstaff and manager tally up end of shift receipts/​tips. The restaurant was not that busy with plenty of staff available help. So after sitting for greater than 15 minutes we left. The hostess and manager stopped and looked up for a moment then returned to their more important than any service to us.

Pricey

When friends suggest IHOP, I generally think, «Why are you punishing me?»
Went last night, because it was a late night option in Everett. We had attentive wait staff, but you also have the potential to see a crazy person or two at that hour. We had a person in a corner booth that caused me to become increasingly worried the longer we stayed.
Meal: Pork Chops and Eggs — Naturally, there are places that can do this way better (Hurricane Café). Because I don’t have high expectations, I am not disappointed. The chops were passable, but flat. The sunny-​side eggs were a little overdone on the bottom. I was able to complete the meal, probably more due to hunger than anything else. This is low-​end stoner food.
I would prefer to pay less for this.
