I like the all you can eat soup and salad bar. Totally worth the price; however, I have to give it 3 stars since my friend ordered a Philly that came out on moldy bread. We informed the waitress, who is also the owner. She quickly replaced her order with fresh bread and comped her meal. Now I’m reluctant to return. I would normally bush it off as human error, because we’ve all have accidentally kept bread too long. However, the mold was plain as day on the sandwich, which means it wasn’t inspected prior to tabling. Who knows what else they’re missing.

Nice choice for lunch! Husband and wife were very welcoming and pleasant when we arrived. Service was good. For $ 7 you can either get unlimited soup and salad, or a decent size entrée(ex. Philly cheese steak) and either soup or salad. There were 6 soups to choose from the day I went(cuban, kale cuban, veggie chili, potato, tomato basil, and jalapeño cheese). The owner kept reinforcing there are 40 options available on the salad bar. Also, sweet tea is included in that price. Would recommend!

I have been here many, many times for lunch. Always excellent! The grilled potatoes(german fries) are my favorite side. They have a nice blend of butter, onion, bacon, and of course, potatoes. The complimentary iced tea with your meal is a nice touch! The owners and staff are always welcoming and make you feel appreciated.

Before watching a hockey game. We stopped in with friends that are locals. Their family tradition is, before watching the game, they have dinner here. I’m glad we did! The service was fantastic. The owners(I believe their names are Bill & Jen) made us feel very welcomed. Explained the menu and gave us a little history about the restaurant and themselves. And got to know us. I really liked that atmosphere there. I had the Twilight Burger w/GP(grilled potatoes) and I have to tell you that was the best homemade burger I’ve had in while. The GP was so delicious, no ketchup needed. I’m a big reuben sandwich fan and they have a reuben soup that tasted spectacular! It was a reuben sandwich without the bread, that you eat with a spoon. I will definitely be coming back! Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed. I wish I had taken pictures of my feast so I could post them. I was so busy enjoying my meal, that by the time I thought about it, I had already cleaned off everything on my plate and bowl.

Been there for lunch a couple times. The owner, a fine young lady has always been there to greet us and get us a table. Free iced tea starts the meal. That’s a winner in my book. The place is a throwback place, and smells like grandmas house when she is frying burgers. I’m ok with that for sure. They’ve got a salad bar and 6 soups daily. That’s a heckuva lunch special considering I can eat all I want for $ 7 drink included. They even have proteins on the salad bar, including chicken and ham, which is unheard of these days. The burgers are good, and the steak sandwich was ok(steak to bread ratio was off). The real star is the salad and soup options. The Cuban soup is good, as was the spinach and feta soup. Who knew? Other options include veggie chili, potato, and others. Looks like they take leftovers and make soup with them, which is exactly what you should do. I wish everyone would cut down on food waste like that. The service is adequate and they bring you your check during your meal for lunch which is actually really convenient and a well thought out touch. I’ll keep on coming back.
