McDonald’s

First thing, I don’t judge franchise fast food restaurants on their food. You know what you are going to get. As for McDonalds, I typically go to various locations for their speed more than any other reason. The food is not fine dining, but comes through in a pinch.
As for this particular location, I have had the most bad experiences here more than all of the other locations combined. 75% of the time my order gets messed up, and 50% of the time my order takes longer than 5 minutes to have ready. I finally decided to post a review after my most recent order that took 25 minutes to prepare. I was buying a snack for my coworkers and myself, consisting of a quarter pounder with cheese, a cheese burger, large fries, and 20 piece chicken McNuggets. What the heck took the longest to prepare is beyond me, but that whole ordeal not only made me lose my entire lunch break, but made me late to clock back in to work. On top of all of that, they gave me a medium fries instead of a large fries. I obviously did not have time to argue.
I don’t want to hold it against all of the employees, but the few that just ruin it for the rest need to be more disciplined, or just let go of altogether. It is a dang shame that this place just can’t seem to get their act straight.

Q: How many people work here?
A: Judging from the six people waiting for their orders to be filled, four more waiting to have their orders taken, three registers with nobody behind them, and five minutes watching this situation continue unchanged while all the counter staff attempt to unwedge the logjam in the drive-​through, the correct answer is «not nearly enough».

Cash registers charge more than the menu prices. Brought this to management attention two weeks ago. Still not fixed today. They’re gouging their customers!!!

this place needs a good spic and span cleaning… not normal Mc D standards.

This McDonald’s is on my way to work so it’s super convenient when I need to grab breakfast in the morning. I’ve recently discovered that the hazelnut coffee is delicious! However, I’ve noticed some inconsistency in the food. One day this week my egg McMuffin was hard has a rock (not even edible), but two other days, really soft and good. Same with the hash brown. One day it was underdone, another day it was over cooked (how I like it). The staff at the drive thru is super nice!

This is my neighborhood McDonald’s; the staff is always very friendly and the drive-​thru line is never too long and moves fairly quickly. They keep the inside nice and clean, and overall, I’m always happy with the service.

I can’t decrease stars for the awful clientele. Perhaps I went at a bad time. This location is really close to Evanston Township, and all of the punks and wannabe thugs love to congregate here after school. Kids, if you want to be all dangerous, go to the south side.
I feel so sorry for the nice people who work here. The idiot students block the way so customers can’t place their orders. Avoid this spot between 3 and 5.
As for the quality of the food, it was better than many other McDonald’s. They didn’t forget any of the items, the order was dished out quickly and they double-​checked to make sure that I had everything I needed.

Pretty good McD’s. Love the new Smoothies (especially when they are free from the Monopoly game pieces). Wish they had more diet, non-​caff soda selections…
Pretty good fries at this one.
