Went there for breakfast. Order my waffles and they were really good. I have to say, better than ihop! Loved it. But their ice tea isn’t that good apparently.

I have been here several times, havent ordered any food I dislike. My son loves the super light and fluffy pancakes here and I absolutely love the Farmer’s eggs benedict. The servers are friendly but sometimes they seem very short staffed. It takes awhile to find a server to help get a refill and also the Orange Juice isnt freshly squeezed as mentioned on the menu. However, i do highly recommend them!

I’ve always been really happy with the service at Le Peep. The waitstaff and hosts are always wonderful, and even if it can get a little slow during busy times, that’s obviously to be expected!(Everyone is only human, after all.) The food is definitely good! I tend to think there’s always a little too much of it, and compared to some other brunch places I’ve been, it’s not exactly heavenly. I’d definitely recommend the pancakes or waffles over the eggs, but everything is a pretty tasty brunch. I always bring family and friends here when they visit from out of town, and it is a great place for visiting – the tables aren’t too close together, so you can always hear each other, which is a plus you don’t always think about!

Meh, the potatoes were cold and tasted a day old or maybe frozen, scrambled eggs were undercooked and the English muffin was soggy.

I came here with two friends on a Saturday morning and this place is quite busy. I ordered a Farmers Benedict and this is heavier than I imagined! The flavor and everything is really good but I just felt so full afterwards. The egg should be cooked a little more so the outer layer is a little thicker. It also came with potatoes which I’m already too full to eat… and it feels a little weird to eat potatoes for breakfast Service on the other hand though was quite slow. Our server took a long time to come to our table and take our order.

I really enjoyed this place! The portions are huge and filling! I recommend the banana walnut pancakes. So fluffy and so flavorful! The service was friendly and fast. You wont be disappointed!

Boo hoo. No pancakes for me. I am on a diet. :( But I had a fine fine breakfast anyway. A first rate omelet with a long and interesting list of unusual ingredients to put in it. Half of the fun of omelets is having them filled with something you usually don’t put in your omelets. You can do that a lot here without running out of combos. A first rate mocha served in a tall glass cup with a layered look. (Ok … if I don’t get pancakes — I got to get SOMETHING out of the deal) Nice nice servers. Pleasant room. An eminently satisfactory place to have breakfast.

My favorite spot for breakfast when I’m visiting the Evanston area. The staff is super friendly even though the restaurant can get crazy busy. The pancakes here are so fluffy and delicious. I absolutely love their Eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce is perfectly creamy and lemony.

My boyfriend and I used to go here all the time back when were in college. It’s nothing out of the ordinary aside from their work ethic. A polar vortex at 6am? BAM, it’s open. Road construction? Building construction? Snowpocalypse? Count on Le Peep to stay open. He always got the breakfast burrito and my items would change. I don’t really have a favorite dish, they’re all straightforward breakfast dishes so there isn’t much to vehemently dislike or praise. I do like their bottomless coffee, and especially the coffee mugs they have(the bottom is rounded out so your spoon stirs nicely). I also love their freshly squeezed orange juice. And really friendly servers! If you go to Northwestern, you can expect to run into some classmates here. Many families, too. My favorite day to visit Le Peep is on Mondays, when if you have a stamp card(10 stamps = 10 dollars off, something to that effect) you get double the number of stamps.

The line to get in here on Sundays after 10AM is very damn long. So long in fact that you may ask yourself«are they selling drugs here. why the hell is there such a long line»? No they are not selling drugs here just good food. Maybe this is a secret to people who dont frequent Evanston but it should be a secret no longer. First of all the service is always outstanding. You could tell they are working on it. I am not a big fan of crepes usually but the spinach crêpe benedict is very satisfying the last 18 times I have had it since 2004. I was here on New Years day and there was a huge line but since I am a city person I am a little assertive and all we had to do was wait twenty minutes and then I had an amazing veggie omelette with their amazing coffee. This place is so amazing

End of year PANCAKES. My daughter told me I was too snobby about my pancakes. You have to be an expert in something, and I happen to be an expert in pancakes. These pancakes are ok. Not fantastic, but good. Not great, but good. You get what I mean. She says I should be more generous with my pancakes stars, but I just can’t lie to the Unilocalverse. Our server was an absolute doll. Fast service and good sized portions.

Great place in Evanston for brunch! Came here to catch up with a childhood friend/NU alum– we both hadn’t been since college. They have an extensive menu for both savory and sweet cravings! I ended up getting the banana walnut pancakes which was amazing!!!(Didn’t even need to add any syrup!) The portions are huge and the prices are great! For my savory craving I had sausage links, avocado, and the egg white omelet!(It came with potatoes and bread). The bread was yummy but the potatoes were okay. They also have sandwiches and salads as well– but who has salad for brekky?! Breakfast food for dinner is acceptable; salad for breakfast is just wrong! Service was quick! You pay at the cashier. Minus one star– parking sucked– and this was on a weekday! I can only imagine how weekends are like…

This restaurant is a solid 3 star restaurant. They are not bad but they are not great either. I had brunch date with a friend during holiday season and since it was on a weekday, we were able to get a table without wait. I got the autmn harvest benedict and I was genuinely excited by how it sounded when the server repeated the order. However the actual food was just okay. Edible but nothing to write about. But they did have two good things that are worth mentioning. (a) Unlimited coffee was good and was refilled regularly when I was there. (b) Discounts — They do give wildcard and senior discounts. So take advantage of it. I highly doubt that I would be back. There are way too many other places to try :)
