When there is one person working and you see someone who walked in after you reiceve his food first — bad first impression.

pretty good dishes that focus on turkey — but this particular visit, my favorite (the turkey ribs) were not as cripsy or big, and was on the drier side than usual.

Was on my way home from work thinking of what to eat for myself and child. I’ve heard about Just Turkey a few times from friends so decided to try it out. AWSOME!!! Staff was nice, place clean. Had the BBQ tips and jerk tips. Would be 5 stars but parking was a hassle. Nice place.

I was driving by Just Turkey and decided to try it. I ordered a mini turkey tip with fries for my daughter and a small with salad for me. Once I got home, both tips were in the mini container. I thought that was odd since I paid more for the small (more than $ 8). I called and I was told that I have two containers because they can’t put the salad on top of my tips. I get it. But I don’t understand why I paid $ 2 more to get the same amount as the mini. Not impressed at all

You need to try there turkey philly cheese and the turkey wreck sandwich its the best. And there employees are awesome.

So I walk in and the smell of fried food and dirty oil assails me. But I’m curious. I mean it’s JUST TURKEY. So I order me a jerk turkey burger. I get it home and bite in… Jesus. This is awful! But ITS JUST TURKEY!
As you can see from the management response, lots of personal nastiness when things don’t go her way. I hope she figures it out.
To clarify: the police could not find evidence of wrong doing on the video but card readers and other card fraud was not investigated. I was not told or warned by police in any way to clear off. I was just trying to find out how my card was hacked and the police were kind and helpful.
The unkind and hostile response here of management is a window of what I endured trying to find out who hacked my card. The personal attacks and unprofessional response here only prove my point. Unfortunately Unilocalers you are caught in this.

Order the turkey wreck the other day for lunch and I was just so happy! Tasted so good and I was pretty full too!

Ok. We love burgers. Period. And, we are pretty particular about them. If you’re looking for something gourmet or edgy, as I sometimes am, this is not the place. But, if you love a good turkey burger – I’m partial to the jalapeño version – this is a solid choice, especially for the price! The french fries are also incredibly tasty.
While we typically order the burgers, I appreciate the creativity that the restaurant employs with respect to the menu. Recently, my fiancé ordered a Philly cheesesteak and liked it. My daughter regularly enjoys the spaghetti and the greens are tasty. Definitely worth a try.
Do remember that these are turkey versions of standard favorites like burgers, tips, spaghetti, etc. They will not have the same taste as beef, but, I imagine if you’re seeking this place out it is because you are looking for that type of cuisine.
In addition, every time we’ve visited this establishment, the customer service is fantastic. The staff is friendly and helpful if you’re trying to decide what to order.
I cannot comment on the quality of the delivery service, we’ve only dined in.

I ordered from Just Turkey today & the nicest thing that I can say is my order was delivered quickly, BUT the condiments were forgotten, & the tips that I ordered barely had any BBQ sauce on them. This was my just time ever eating from this restaurant & it will be my last. Very disappointing experience.

I ordered the Jerk Turkey Salad with Ranch using Seemless and it is amazing. Salad is crisp and the flavors melting in spicy goodness.

The wife and I dined in at this smallish location. It seats about 12 but is primarily used for carryout. We ordered the turkey lasagna, turkey tips, turkey burger and the turkey wreck sandwich. (I know that’s a lot of food, but we took 75% home, we like leftovers… well, I do)
The star of the show was easily the tips. They were very tender and flavorful with the perfect amount of sauce. In fact, everything was good, but the tips stood out. We’d probably skip the lasagna next time.
The fries were hot and fresh, the girl working the counter was nice and we will be back.

I got a massive double turkey burger for a really great price. Also, the turkey tips were very tasty! The first time we went we ordered in the restaurant, but it’s definitely better to call ahead and just do take out — shame that the interior isn’t really all too welcoming with a small TV on the wall.

The food here is alright. It definitely does have a healthier feel but wasn’t as amazing of a flavor combination as the other reviews would suggest. I tried the original (double) and jerk burger here. The bun was slightly crunchy and the turkey patties had a nice firm but not overcooked texture. The sandwiches weren’t that flavorful however, even with a lot of sauce like on the jerk burger. The fries were nice and crispy although nothing special though. Overall, alright food but nothing I’d make a special trip for.

Yikes! Not what I expected after all the other glowing reviews.
It all boils down to personal preference, I’m sure, but be smarter than me and set your expectations knowing that this restaurant is closer to fast food than anything else.
We ordered delivery and the menu was so interesting that we opted to try a variety of things — turkey «tips,» turkey nachos, a turkey burger and side salads. The salads were fine, but the «tips» were drenched in an extremely sweet BBQ sauce, the turkey burger was super salty and a little dry, and the nachos (while generously portioned) were stale tasting.
Aside from that, though, I thought the all-​turkey offering was a really interesting concept (perfect for the night before Thanksgiving, which is when we ordered). I know Just Turkey has lots of fans, but it just wasn’t for me.
I hate to leave negative-​ish reviews, but all the existing comments are really positive. I wanted to provide another point of view for future review readers!

The first visit was last month (October 2015), we bought the Turkey Tips for $ 10.50(it came with fries), Turkey Spaghetti and an ear of corn.
1. The Turkey Tips was good;
2. The Turkey Spaghetti was very good;
3. The ear of corn for $ 1.00 is small, it’s half an ear which is a bit expensive for the size and it was overcooked :-(
The second visit (November 1^st, both were «to-​go» orders) we bought:
1. Turkey Ribs (Large $ 14.50);
2. Turkey Lasagna ($ 7), which was recommended. Initially, I was unsure because I thought maybe they were just trying to push this item but surprisingly, we were impressed and may order it again.
The large order (s) come with french fries but they place them on the bottom of the styrofoam container which gets soggy because the bbq sauce from the turkey soaks them. Hence, if you want your fries crispy — this ain’t. (perhaps they will separate them if you really want crunchy fries).
The Turkey Tips versus the Turkey Ribs? The Turkey Ribs was better however, the Tips are boneless and the Ribs are uhh– with bones ^-^. My boys enjoyed and devoured the Turkey Ribs and ate it like mad so that’s why I think it is better.
One last comment I have to make is the people that work here are so kind and friendly. Both ladies behind the counter are very nice and personable. The gentleman remembered me from the week before and was kind enough to recognize and acknowledge me –let me tell you, this personable service goes a long way (at least for me it does). I tend to return to businesses that recognize me not just for my greenbacks.
No doubt I will be back — oh one last thing… I never had any of the turkey because my husband & I don’t eat meat but our children do and they enjoyed and commented how good the food (turkey) is.
Ginger also mentioned they will be having a Special Thanksgiving Menu and will be offering fried turkey. Since my son said he’s never had it, I guess we are ordering it for Thanksgiving (only for the children of course).
(my only suggestion is to use foil-​bottom containers instead of styrofoam because putting hot fries or anything hot on styrofoam melts it and it’s not good)

This place is yummy and filling for the price! It’s definitely a great value for the meal and drink. We ordered the rib and tip meal as well as the turkey tacos.
The turkey was good and the BBQ sauce was tasty. The tacos were okay but I wish there was an avocado or more seasoning. The corn was delicious and the sauce added to it!
Service was really friendly and the people were all really nice!
Minus one star: they didn’t have small portions of the turkey spaghetti (which I really wanted to try) and seating was super limited.

Turkey is my new best friend. LOL! I was never a lover of turkey after a bad Thanks Giving meal some years ago. A girlfriend of mine introduced me to «turkey ham» and that mess is delicious. You can find that in the deli section of your grocer but not everyone carries it.
But this place right here JUST TURKEY is «da bomb» the food is out of this world and didn’t think that TURKEY could taste this great! LOL
It’s a small store, with maybe 3 –4 tables and chairs and a couple of bar stools. A real fast food joint, but everything on their menu is JUST TURKEY :-) I had the jerk turkey and man oh man was it delicious. That meat is well seasoned and the flavors are finger licking good. Their presentation with the food was also very good and the cashier/​host was the most friendliest thing I have ever seen. She even invited us to come back if we had the time before we left, as we were there for the Avon for Breast Cancer Walk. Unfortunately we didn’t. If ever you are in Chicago, PLEASE go visit. They do have a couple other locations but we went to the one in Evanston. Thank you for having us and I am sure we will be back again. I wish that you guys delivered. LOL!

I picked up lunch here a few weeks ago for Mom and I. We shared the turkey tips and the turkey lasagna. I really liked both of them, though mom thought the tips were a bit bland. She did love the lasagna. I will absolutely come back to pick up lunch again. We both want to try the turkey burgers.
The store is new and therefore was quite clean and fresh looking. It is a nice addition to the area.
