The evening hours are convenient, staff are friendly, selection of glasses/​frames is good (even for my 14 year old who is too cool for anything) and the Dr. told me that the reason I was having so many problems with my eyes was that the last Dr. I went to gave me a prescription that was too strong. He let me use different contacts for a few weeks (no charge) to see if this was the problem and voila! headaches and eye-​strain gone. I don’t really know what anyone could ask for in an optometrist. Weekend hours would be way better for my schedule but hey, you can’t have everything.

I recently went in to get my eye exam and the staff was wonderful. Dr. Rubin was friendly, efficient and quick. I selected my frames and received them in the time frame that was promised. It was an enjoyable experience and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend Dr. Rubin.

I’ve been going to Dr. Rubin’s for 3 years and have not been disappointed by his quick and efficient service. His staff are also very personable and friendly.
There’s plenty of parking outside in the shopping plaza; if you take public transportation, Pace bus 250 also drops you off right outside on Dodge/​Dempster. Make sure to use the Unilocal deal, or check in on Unilocal to get a free contact exam with purchase!
