The staff and Dr Corrie and Dr J are beyond professional and have the knowledge and memory like no other!!! I recommend chiro One on Dempster to EVERYONE!!! They have helped my headaches, my back, my tendinitis better than any Med could. You can feel the living and positive energy as soon as you walk in the door!!!

I love this place! I’ve been coming here for 2.5 years. They are very caring plus very warm and friendly. My posture is so much better, I had scoliosis as a kid. I don’t have pain in my upper back anymore. My neck is so much better and my head is no longer protruding forward. I have never felt better from my care and treatments!
The staff is wonderful! Dr. Cori, Dr. Jake, and all of the office people! They are all there to help you with whatever is going on that day or week!

This place is great! I’ve been coming here for years and they really care about me and my health. I wish they were open on Saturdays and were closer to home but hey, they are worth the 10 mile drive in my opinion. Outstanding care and service!

Gee — reading the other reviews I wonder why my price is so low — about $ 25 per visit — and I’ve been seeing them for years. My posture is better, my pain is lower, and I am reminded each time I visit how important it is to maintain and improve myself if I want the coming years to be active. Ask and you shall receive. They are there for you!

I love Chiro One and the great attention they give to my overall health. There’s always a pleasant greeting and they are genuinely interested in you. I also appreciate the preponderance of good looking staff members.

So I was so disappointed. I started with a great experience there. But then the winds changed (VERY QUICKLY). They REFUSED to work with my insurance and told me that they bill 3x per appointment which would use up the allowed visits very quickly. They then tried to haggle thousands of dollars out of me with a pay up front for a 20% discount off of your next 48 visits (over 24 weeks) which was brought down after I said that there was no way I could do 3 – 4 treatments a week. Sorry, but I can’t pay $ 6000 just like that. Not only is it expensive but they are endlessly persistent.
The worst was that they went from «we can help you with your scoliosis» to a very quick «we’ll try not let it get worse but that is as far as it goes». Dr. Cori is condescending and treated me like a kindergartner. With a degree in neuroscience I know that some of the things she said are plain lies. I studied neuroanatomy. And I’m beginning to doubt that she did. She tries to shove treatment down your throat without considering the time commitment and financial repercussions for the patient.
Finally, they do not release X Rays– THAT THEY CHARGED MY INSURANCE FOR. I am literally considering filing a suit against them for withholding my own medical information.

EDIT: Per request of their «Patient Advocate Services» Rep, I am happy to report that they are helping me retrieve their medical record. They asked me to completely revise my comment, but honestly they way I feel about the Skokie location is VERY Negative. Their doctors are not respectful or willing to work with insurance companies. And they seem to only be interested in tying people down for thousands of dollars of treatment. YES, Chiro One has a GREAT customer service team trying to cover the tracks of their sub par medical team.

The staff is professional and prompt. They have info for you about health topics whenever you come in. There is always someone there to help you out. Parking is easy and traffic is never congested so travel time is pretty minimal.

THEY told me that we gonna make your problem goes a way but what they do is lie so they can collect money from everybody .I find out that they lie about my situation so I can still go there and they can collect money. One time I was late with the payment they stop treating me. It is all about Money ! They don’t care about people… bad place to go.

I was seriously disappointed by several things about my visit to this chiropractic office. I have had various problems with my back since high school. I went to a chiropractor regularly in high school and again shortly in college after an injury to my trapezius, so, when I got this offer for a free x-​ray, I thought «Why not? It can’t hurt to see how I’m doing.» I made an appointment for 4:45 on a weekday to get my free x-​ray, and showed up about 15 min early. They didn’t actually take me anywhere until 6:45. Granted, they apologized, but still… 2 hours late is a little bit ridiculous, especially when there were other people who were just walking in and getting adjusted and having their physical therapy well after my appointment should have been over. They finally get me in for my x-​ray, and then inform me that I will have to come back another day to get the results. Fine… I waited that long for the x-​ray, I might as well see the results… at that point I knew I wasn’t going back to them for care. So I come back to get my results with about 20 other people, and have to sit through a seminar about the importance of chiropractic care. Most of it was stuff I already knew (As I said, I had been to two other chiropractors, and I’m a massage therapist), and some of it was down right lies. For anyone else who has sat through this seminar, YOUR BACK BEING OUT OF ALIGNMENT DOES NOT CAUSE CANCER! They actually fed us this line. Cancer is caused by mutations in your cells, which can be influenced by outside sources, but not a need of chiropractic work. Just about everyone has been touched in some way by cancer, either in themselves, or someone they know, and these people used that pain and fear to try to scare people into coming back to them. Anyway, we are taken back out to the main room to await our results. People are called in one at a time. I wait… and wait… and wait… finally, I’m the LAST person called. Even though they made me wait 2 hours after my scheduled appointment time the time before, I was the last one called, and wound up spending another hour and a half or so in their waiting room… NOT a happy camper at this point. Dr. Cori calls me in and shows me my x-​rays, which really weren’t that bad. She starts telling me that I’m in danger that they are so terrible that I may wind up unable to function within months if I don’t see them right away, and immediately begins making a plan which will completely run out my insurance, saying «We will decide on the best course of action to take from there.» Of course, I know a little bit about what I was looking at, and knew that she was over exaggerating a GREAT deal. At that point, I was still a student, and had to discuss all financial decisions with my parents. I told her this, and she wouldn’t let me leave until I called my mother in front of her. She actually sat there and listened in on our conversation as my mother said no… she was just as appalled as I was about what had happened. Then, Dr. Cori told me that my mother must not love me because she obviously didn’t care enough about my health to want me to live a long healthy life. HOW DARE SHE? She has absolutely no right to tell people that there parents don’t love them. What kind of terrible person does that? This is NOT a good place. These people don’t care about their patients, they care about taking their money. Healers should be caring people, and they aren’t. I am a massage therapist and I have people ask me about chiropractic work all the time and I am always adamant on my stance that chiropractic work is a good thing and works well with massage, but you have to find a GOOD chiropractor. I never fail to warn them away from Chiro One. One final thought for prospective patients… try Googling «Chiro One scam» and see what you come up with.
