I have never been a huge fan of Ruby Tuesday’s menu. Well that’s all in the past now. I really enjoyed to the new facelift and menu. The wait staff was magnificent, atmosphere calm, and dining room spic and span. Looking forward to my next visit.

Our server was phenomenal and attempted to take care of the below situation, but got into trouble. She did the right thing, the salad bar attendant should’ve kept her mouth shut and said thank you to our server for potentially protecting the patron from getting food poisoning and the establishment from possibly being sued. The extremely slimy peas and edamame beans, instantly made me sick to my stomach. What made it worse after I brought this to their attention, they treated me like an ignorant fool by telling me that is how they are shipped, ummm, NO! When a slime string stretches 10 — 12 inches, like mozzarella cheese on a fresh hot pizza slice, that is BAD! I have been to several Ruby Tuesday’s and I have never seen anything like this before… Since this is the first course of my meal, it only gives me an insight to how they do food handling and storage with the rest of their supplies. I will not return and it might be a while before I return to any Ruby Tuesday. Additionally, when something like this happens I normally call corporate, but they have a system to where you cannot speak to a live person, which only concerns me that much more!

First off let me say that the staff is great. Very friendly, attentive, etc. However, today was the first and last time we will ever eat here. My boyfriend got a burger, and I got ribs with zucchini. Both of our meals were about 90% grease. I got half a rack and only ate 3(because I was starving), and I had a bite of my zucchini. Both my boyfriend and I have had a stomach ache all day long because of it. We ate around noonish, and my stomach is still killing me at 5:45pm. We will definitely not be returning.

One of my favorite places to eat in the CSRA. In my opinion the staff at this Ruby Tuesday are one of the most courteous and professional you will ever meet. The restaurant is always neat and clean. And something as simple as an all you can eat salad bar in a non-buffet restaurant is something I would like to see in other places. Try the Shrimp Po’ Boy Flatbread: Fried popcorn shrimp, Parmesan cream sauce, green peppers, onions, mushrooms, bacon, and andouille sausage, with creamy chipotle sauce. I was not in the mood for a heavy meal, the Po Boy flatbread hit the spot.

I mean, it is a Ruby Tuesday, there’s not much else to say. Solid American Food in fairly large portions and a Salad Bar. Drinks and Desserts, standard fare. This particular location tends to be busy and so the Salad Bar always is in need of refilling and cleaning– neither of which they do well enough, in my opinion. But the service is always good and the waitstaff is always pleasant. I miss how much better the location was when it was located off of Bobby Jones Exp. Ever since they moved up to Evans it has been a bit of a disaster-area. I prefer the location in North Augusta now.

The waitress we had was awesome. No matter how great the service it is hard to get over silver ware and plates that had spots over them. I asked for a mojito and maybe it is because I was in Georgia but a mojito comes with mint, lime and a sugarcane. This drink was nothing but club soda. The shrimp and grits ordered by another person in my party was a very small portion but they said it was good. Luckily the waitress noticed I did not even finish my mojito and took it off my bill. Still the cleanliness of the dinnerware is a concern.

I grew up with a Ruby Tuesday in the local mall and because of the layout, thought it sold strictly salad. I hadn’t seen one of these in nearly two decades so when I saw the old familiar salad bar again in all it’s glory, I had to laugh. This restaurant is a step up from Denny’s but not by much. I can’t help that it’s much closer to us than Chili’s or Fridays so when on nights when we don’t want to wait-Ruby Tuesdays it is. Food and service are both hit or miss here. Our first time was fantastic-entrees hot and sizzling but the appetizer was lukewarm at best and we couldn’t get another beer to save our life. Other times we’ve had a helicopter of a server or someone who looked like they were participating in a 4 man relay race. There’s nothing particularly special about these chain restaurants but it’s standard classic fare and dependable at least. 12⁄2014

RT has changed their menu for the better… Except the salad bar had old… bitter lettuce on it. Steaks were good, but I question how they were tenderized, ordered medium and got medium. A baked potato had to be sent back, was old and dry, but replaced with a fresh one. Rolls were quarter size, but edible. Hopefully they can get their act together or I will not return.

Walking into the restaurant you are greeted with the distinct smell of dirty floor and a carpet that could have used a cleaning years ago. The kind of carpet that is deeply grime filled — a living biological experiment I’d be afraid to see under a microscope. The rest of the restaurant seemed to be as poorly maintained as the floors. Dirty tables that were hastily wiped down with a dirty dish cloth. No point discussing this with the management — since that seems to be the root of the problem. I’d hate to see the kitchen — might make for a good kitchen nightmares episode if it’s maintained the way the front of the establishment was. Food was mediocre. Service was prompt, and our order accurately taken.

The fish tacos were so bad I had to send them back. Who puts lettuce on fish tacos? Who puts mayonaise on fish tacos? Sent it back and got a burger that was really average at best. Under seasoned, over cooked. I was really disappointed cause I’ve always liked their food at other locations. Hope it was just a freak accident.

Try the pretzel burger. It was very good! Wife says their steaks are good. She had the top sirloin. Salad bar is also a great deal as $ 2.99 add on. It comes included in certain entrees.
