Dave’s Place is always a refreshing stop when running errands in Henderson Center. Small, cozy & absolutely local.

Recently had a good friend of mine who went there to get a beer. He provided his U.S. Passport and was denied service. Last time I checked a passport was just as good as a drivers license. Hopefully him being yellow didn’t play a part of being denied service.
I would recommend dirtywood. They accept passports and all ethnicities.

Great neighborhood bar with nice folks. Suzie makes the best Bloody Mary! You can bring food in to eat too! Or, better yet, order a sandwich from Deo’s next door and they’ll serve it to you.

in spite of the old yellars in there, the wamp wamp music and stares because im not a local,
that bartender makes some bomb ass drinks!
cold night: ask for a kahlua coffee make it sweet with whipped cream
and a bloody mary. first time ive ever seen it actually made the right way!
