Wood Hollow

Love that my apartment backs up to woods! However parking after 10pm is horrible, sometimes having to park several buildings over. Also don’t feel safe being out after dark.

It seemed like a dream at first. They were really laid back and accommodating. As the months have passed, there seems to be different rules every time I go into the office.
The water bill is completely outrageous. There are four of us living here and we are only home 10 – 12 days a month and our bill is $ 80 a month.
I’ve complained about the shower water going from freezing cold to scalding hot a couple times and it still isn’t fixed.
The garbage disposal can’t handle anything. When we asked to get that repaired we were told we couldn’t put things down the garbage disposal «like lettuce or anything else». What can we put down it?

Moved in three weeks ago. Will update as needed.
Pros —
Staff seams pretty nice and helpful; even though they appear to have had a bumpy transition from the past management.
Apartment was very clean, it had new paint, new carpet, new vinyl floors that mimic wood flooring. New screen door on the large patio, New fridge and light fixture upgrades. Walls seam to be well insulated because the most I ever hear is either door slamming or people at the pool through the window glass. Over all fairly clean good looking complex.
Dumpster appear to get dumped regularly.
Neighbors are all very diverse and very friendly.
New Gym equipment. (I haven’t used yet)
Cons —
Wash room being re-​done so I have to go elsewhere.
Someone likes to let there big dog take massive craps near the stair well and not pick it up. Even though, within 15 feet they have a dog station with bags and trash.
Unsupervised loud obnoxious teenage kids at pool after office closes. They are a liability to the complex. They climb up on everything and dive into a 4′ deep pool sometimes doing very impressive flips. Not only have they violated every rule I had to sign on my lease but, one of them said something to my girlfriend about fucking her in the pussy from the hot tub to my balcony. (This is only a certain group that seams to follow the oldest one.)
Glass beer bottles in and around pool. Loud drunken partying well after 12:00 at night, by the pool week nights, as well as week ends. Which I have no problem with if I’m aloud to get away with it myself.(pool closes at 10:00)
Very little Guest Parking. You have to have a parking sticker or you will get towed.
Mail– People not doing a change of address at the post office appears to be a huge problem. Kind of trashy by the boxes because of this.
