Mothership has a great menu, with many different options, anyone could find something they like. Not only is the food amazing, but the staff is awesome! I have a favorite, The Byron, which is Teriyaki ground beef over rice, piled with the best choice in veggies. The serving is so large, I always have some to eat later! The biscuits & gravy are some of the best in town! You can get it to go, or they have a really awesome seating area inside a school bus! Do yourself a favor, and try Mothership… local goodness!

Stopped by Mothership to pick up some lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Nicely kept cart and added bus with seating inside. Looks very slick! Decided to try«The Matt»(Brisket breakfast burrito, opted for the added serrano peppers) and«The Byron»(double beef teriyaki with veggies over rice). I blank, but I think his name was Derrell? Very nice guy. The smells wafting from the window as he prepared the food was intoxicating! The food was GREAT! The teriyaki was fantastic! And the burrito was a solid win, IMO. Would definitely hit this place up again!

In seventh grade, I took a field trip with my classmates in Year Book. We stopped at a tiny stand for ice cream. Our adviser instructed us: «Don’t eat the chili at a place like this.» That was some good advice. So I probably won’t order the udon here. You can get breakfast — eggs & bacon or sausage with home fries, biscuits & sausage gravy, a breakfast burrito or raspberry french toast($ 8.50) with pastry cream and pecan butter and real maple syrup. I wanna to try that last one. You can get a grilled cheese sandwich for three bucks, which is mighty decent of them. The lunch menu reads like something I hesitate to label«pan-Asian»: cheeseburgers, bbq beef brisket sandwich, tacos, spring rolls, a burrito. I tried the loco moco($ 6.50), something I enjoyed to my surprise in Hawaii: a grilled ground beef patty on top of rice covered with brown gravy and a couple of fried eggs. This was decent, but tasted like a mainland version of the original, which has better and more gravy and grilled onions. Most people will get their food to go, but if you want to sit down and dig in, there’s a black and red painted school bus right behind.
