Returned a doweling jig with no problem. Jig was manufactured incorrectly and will not work but they did not care to have me show the problem. Too bad, the replacement purchased at Rockler Tools cost more. I still found two items I wanted today and always save the 20% off discount coupons ready since I must drive an hour to get here. Since I’m only a woodworking hobbyist, most of the items at HFT will work since I use them only a few times each year compared to a professional. Having said that, I still believe «you get what you pay for».

I like this place it has saved me allot of trouble in the past with the ability to get special tools for various jobs without breaking the bank tools are not the best quality but for the price and variety I cant complain and I have had allot of tools that have lasted me years plus I like to go just to look at all the cool stuff and the warranties are not too bad either

If you’re in the market for some cheap tools that aren’t made in America this is the place for you. They offer some pretty unbeatable prices, you can find their ads in the Register-​Guard or pick one up at the store.
I was in need of a cheap pump to empty my fuel tank and they had one that was normally 12 bucks for 3.00. Can’t really beat that. The staff was friendly and helpful.
So if you’re in the market for some one time use tools, or just don’t have the cash for good ones, then definitely stop by.
