Being a total wine lover, I had to come try this out. I love the atmosphere. It’s lively and the staff is so nice. Food was great I got the burger and charcuterie plate as well as a red blend. My boyfriend got a sandwich. I’m definitely coming back.

Love the outdoor seating area on nice sunny days in Eugene. The Cesar salad is big and delicious but wished it had real parmesean cheese instead of powdered. The Ruben is insane of your not concerned with the calories :) Nice atmosphere and friendly attentive service. Photo is with a friend since we were 12, when we meet up, B2 is «our place».

This charming wine bar has so much potential but falls short of hitting the mark. The wine list was average and expensive though I appreciate that there were many options available by the glass. I had two glasses of the same wine, one was the end of the bottle and the other the first pour from a new bottle — it was clear the first bottle had been open too long for serving and the flavor was off. Call me an elitist a**hole but whatever! I think it’s a fair critique of a place I believe is trying to cater to a more educated wine consumer. As far as food, same deal. Not very good, tiny portion and way overpriced. Posted a pic of the hummus plate I ordered and you can see it’s a sad little offering(I did eat some of the hummus before taking the pic). I’m rooting for you little wine bar! Maybe it was just an off night but I think this place could be busy every night.

First time here for lunch with a long time friend for an over due catch-up. Fabulous atmosphere — welcoming and quiet enough for good conversation. We both had the lobster bisque, which was amazing, and the pear, blue cheese and chopped hazelnut salad — also delicious. Great service — attentive but not hovering. Definitely want to take my hubby back — I saw a hamburger on the menu just calling his name.

Marvelous wine bar with terrific food. Full bar for those who prefer something other than their good selection of wines. Best fries in Oregon; best lobster bisque in the world(trust me. I’m an authority.) The LB is actually a bit better than the bisque served at the Big 4 restaurant in San Francisco and even better than that served at the specialty restaurants onboard Azamara Cruise Line. Everything else is great, as well. Particularly like their sliders and their fish and chips. In addition to the excellent food, the service is relaxed, friendly and attentive without hovering. Dine and drink there frequently and never miss an opportunity to recommend the place to friends. Enemies can eat elsewhere.

I like coming here when I want a low key nice night out. The food is good and so are the drinks. A little bit pricey but I like the atmosphere. Their lobster bisque is delicious and I highly recommend the rubytini. I will say I was highly disappointed when we went the other night around 10 to find the waitress ended up closing early because it was a slow night. They are supposed to stay open until 12 based on their hours online. I will give them another shot to redeem themselves.

This place is amazing! Hummus platter is the best I’ve ever had, their homemade chocolate torte is to die for and they have one delicious summer spicy jalapeño margarita! My husband and I went here for our anniversary and we will definitely go back again for another date soon!

We really enjoyed the great food here. Yum! Had the pork chop and it was delicious and it had a great presentation. Hubby and daughter devoured their hamburgers. I gave it 4 stars because they were slow and it seemed they could really benefit from another waitress, BUT we will be back! Our waitress was kind just busy. It seemed like all around us were having a good time. Great place for fun conversation and nice but relaxed atmosphere.

After a hard morning at work, I decided to have Lunch at B2. My friend and I decided to go with a cheese burger. He had fries with it and I had a tomato soup. We both agreed it was one of the best burgers we have had. He loved the fries and the roasted tomatoes soup was delicious! I can’t wait to go back and try dinner!

I like the location. I love the wine. I ordered a bottle. The server made sure I loved it before he served it. We order a panini sandwich and a hummus plate-both were great. This is a nice destination for this side of town.

I meet my girlfriends here once a week for a couple glasses of wine and some much needed stress relief. The ambiance is great, Andrew is fabulous and the wine goes down smooth. It’s a wonderful wine bar in a great location!

Great kitchen and drinks including a good wine list. I’ve always had good service here and the people-watching is off the hook. Check it out, you’ll be glad

Our lunch group has been here several times. We go for lunch, not for wine. We have especially enjoyed that there is no sense of being rushed. The food is good; the portions large enough to share if you wish, or to take some home. They accommodate special requests such as condiment changes, or perhaps a request for a different cheese, etc. Do I recommend B2 to friends? Yes!

The GF and I had some extra time on a Friday afternoon, and so decided to stop by. We didn’t order any food, but what we saw on the menu looked pretty good. Also, while the wine list isn’t the largest, it’s not too bad, and we had no difficulty finding a nice cote du rhone and rose to drink. As others have mentioned, the prices here are a bit on the high side for what you get(and yes, the wine glass pours aren’t all that large), but I’ve seen worse. The real problem I had with this place occurred when my friend ordered a glass of French rose. We were not familiar with the producer, and so were intrigued. As the bartender poured her a glass of it(with the label pointed away from us), I noticed that on the neck of the bottle, it said Rioja. When I asked the bartender about the wine he was pouring, he sheepishly admitted that the listed rose was out of stock, and that they were therefore pouring the Spanish rose. That’s fine, but what’s NOT fine is to make that kind of switch without informing the customer in advance. As far as we’re concerned, that’s a deal killer, and we won’t be going back.

This was my second visit, stopped by for some food and a glass of wine. After trying to order from the entrée selections, 3 strikes in a row«sorry we are out, not doing that,» whatever. So we switched to the appetizers. Not really a big selection but a sampling of the menu and they could actually make the items we ordered. The Salmon sliders are way good. The bacon wrapped shrimp are really good. The bread and Olive oil plate, well its what they should give you for free don’t bother they way over charge for what you get. Like most places now it’s cement floor, hard walls, and zero acoustic noise damping, make a quiet experience, dinner, or drink impossible. Similar to dining in a bus station or school cafeteria. No WiFi … so don’t stop in for a glass of wine with that thought in mind. I would say a little spendy, $ 5 for a glass of the daily special. And they are not generously poored glasses or expencive wines. Buy the wine and enjoy it quietly at home, use the money you save to go to a movie, show or buy her some flowers.

I’ve only been to B2 once so far, but I’ll be going back. I do believe their Rueben may actually be better than 440s, which is something I don’t say lightly! I asked the friendly if somewhat inattentive waiter where they get their outstanding pastrami, and surprise, surprise! It’s Boar’s Head! Which you can buy in Eugene at Fred Meyer. I shared part of a tomato pesto sandwich too, which was delicious, so I’ll be back!

The first two times I came here I was really impressed. The halibut was amazing and they have a wine that I haven’t found anywhere else, accept for at the winery up north. However, I have a couple of issues with b2. First, they’ve had live music the last three times I’ve been in there. While I enjoy live music, the room does not have the acoustics for live music and it ends up overpowering everything, including your conversation with others. I think of a wine bar as being someplace mellow where you can hang out with your friends and have an intimate experience while drinking good wine. However, we end up shouting at each other and by the end of the night my ears hurt and my voice is horse. Another complaint I have is that they’ve been out of food twice now. One of those times they were out of the fish(halibut and salmon). Also, they claimed to be out of my wine, although there were three bottles visible on the shelf. Either the server was confused, or she couldn’t hear me over the music. I want to love this place because it has so much potential, but they need to get their act together. If my future experiences change I’m more than willing to update my review and add stars because I want this place to succeed.
