I should never picture something in my head of how I think a place should look or how it should feel ahead of time. When we drove into the WorldMark by Wyndham in Estes Park, Colorado I noticed the grounds were mostly parking lots and nothing very appealing to the eyes or senses. After exploring the property, we discovered that the section we were assigned to is the original buildings and they expanded and built newer units. We booked our unit ten months out and we booked through Wyndham Club Pass. The first thing, besides the overall lack of this not feeling like a Gold Crown Resort, was the disappointment of our two bedroom, full kitchen unit not having a patio or outdoor space. That was something I truly looked forward to. Many of the newer units have very nice decks and patios. Another thing that we thought was un-Gold Crown like was having to pay for WiFi. We found out that the units will all be remodeled this year after their busy season. None too soon, in my opinion. Another couple who was checking in at the same time that we did had booked a one bedroom unit and they were very disappointed to find their unit was only a partial kitchen. Their refrigerator was the smaller than a dishwasher. They had a two burner cooktop and no oven. Unfortunately for them, they had brought three coolers full of food and they needed an oven to cook a breakfast casserole and enchiladas for another meal. Their problems were much worse than ours and I feel sorry for them. The person who worked the front desk gave us the wrong number to call to see if we could get a different unit and then we asked him how to sign up for the WiFi and he did not give us all the instructions we needed at once. It took two trips to get what we needed. Our trip is just beginning and we won’t let this, in anyway ruin our trip, but we wanted to let people know what our initial experiences have been.

Terribly thin walls. People above doing laundry in room late have made it impossible to sleep several days in a row. Complained to front desk staff and asked to be moved. Told that we would not be moved even though we as of today 4/16, have several days left in our stay, including our wedding. Front desk staff admits walls are thin and is generally unsympathetic even though it is midnight and we cannot sleep. We will not be returning. Too many other great options in Estes Park to ever come back.

Very nice condos in Estes Park. My main issue is how sterile they are. Some friends had a timeshare there, I’m not sure if you can use it like a hotel or not.

My friends have a time share with Worldmark and we spent a weekend here in Estes Park. It’s a pretty nice place that sits along the stream with a gorgeous view of the mountains. We had a 3 room condo with a good sized kitchen for cooking and all the necessities we required to make ourselves at home. We sat right about the recreation room with video games and ping pong and pool tables, and there’s a fitness room as well. There’s also 2 or 3 outdoor hot tubs, but unfortunately when I tried to hop in the water was lukewarm and it was too cold to enjoy it. It’s also walking distance from town, and almost right next door to the local brewery. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. We all had a very nice stay, and I’d come back for sure.

First time I’m proud to be an owner with Worldmark. Running river in your backyard. Small resort with cabin feel. Well-maintained lawn and sometimes a visit from the wildlife(we saw a few rabbits). Very picturesque. Adequately sized pool and a very active hot tub. The WiFi works for its price. We will definitely return with friends and family.

What a beautiful place to stay. The scenery is just amazing and the condo was just the same. The staff was great and it was just a great all around experience.

Imagine sitting on a deck outside of your room. In front of you is a raging river. You hear the roar of the water as it rushes by you. To the left of you are towering snow covered peaks. Below you the scent of your neighbor barbequing. To the right of you is a quaint little town with more mountainous peak behind it. From your perch you may see elk grazing or birds buzzing around. There will be many rabbits hopping around on the freshly mowed grass trying to find a treat. You could have this be a reality by visiting Estes Park and staying at the WorldMark resort. The staff is friendly. The only trick is you have to become a member of the secret society of Wyndham. But that isn’t too hard. :)
