This place is a throw back. If you decide to walk in back out! After long day of hiking stopped in for lunch. Wife ordered a caramelized walnut salad and I ordered club sandwich. Salad had no walnuts, green apples etc. my sandwich reminded me of third grade cafeteria fare. Loud playtime and cussing in kitchen and waitress had no answer why salad was not even close to what was described on menu. But did offer free drinks. Estes is not known for high marks on food but compared to every where else we’ve eaten in town… By far the worst! RUN!!!

We started to go to a more advertised restaurant. The place was packed. Got in the car and went to Molly’s. Super friendly. Food doesn’t knock your socks off but it is actually really good. Prices were in line.

This restaurant is what my friend chose to cater her wedding. We all came in from out of state, so we picked something on a whim and now I wish we would have read into it more. The steaks were mushy… like you could have eaten them with no teeth. Not tender in a good way. To top it all off? It looked like a 3 year old baked and decorated her wedding cake. I posted a picture of it on here for everyone to see. This place should be ashamed of itself. The pictures on their website are not what they provide.

Once a very nice restaurant with a veggie inclination, but it’s lost its way. The Asian waiter was very efficient but not personable and no replacement for the friendly«hippie» waitress we had at other times. And why did they assault us with country Christian music? What did we ever do to them? I could have forgiven all that if the food hadn’t sucked. I had the chef’s special Benedict. Menu said it was served on a cake. Well, I should have asked because it was a pancake. And sweet. If you like sugar on your eggs, you might like this. But it was an assault to my senses. The eggs were overcooked. The Hollandaise was bland, boring. And it was all served cold. Worst breakfast ever.

Gorgeous patio overlooking downtown Estes serving breakfast and lunch. You can’t beat the view! We enjoyed brunch on our recent visit: I had the chef’s special Benedict, and my friend had the Belgian Waffle, plus a side of bacon to share. The benedict was served on a corn cake that was unusual and quite good, with actual kernels of fresh corn. The Hollandaise was pretty good, but the eggs were microwaved instead of poached– sorta sad face on an otherwise good meal. The Belgian waffle was perfect, as was the perfectly crisped bacon. Also could be improved: The OJ was served room temperature, in a plastic glass, with no ice and it WASFROM A CAN! YUCK! All over, though, breakfast was fine, and service was good, and the patio was spectacular.

This is a place that makes me firmly believe that Unilocal should allow us to issue zero stars. We dropped in here after hiking through the RMNP to grab a quick sandwich before the long drive home. Other than the three in our party, there was a single two top being served in the restaurant. The host seated us at a booth near the window, which was covered in food debris. After a closer look, we were wondering whether the table was textured or covered in a sticky film from cleaning the table with a dirty cloth. Our belief is the later. As I looked to my right, the window had an unappealing tomato seed stuck to the window, along with some other sticky substances. The server came to our table, providing a friendly smile and was happy to serve us, but did not offer to clean our table. We ordered beverages, which were quickly served. Based upon the presentation of the restaurant, we were ready to just leave before we received our drinks. To be polite, we decided to stay and order a round of ice cream for the table. The server brought our scoops of ice cream in cute little silver bowls, and placed our spoons on the filthy table. We reluctantly dug into the ice cream and as I took my first bite, I realized that there was a crusty substance, resembling a booger, which was more likely a bit of ice cream that had somehow made it through the wash. Needless to say, we paid our bill and quickly scurried out of the restaurant. We will most definitely not be back.

Very disappointed with the service here. There were only four tables when we came in and the waitress just seemed to be out in her own little world. The food was okay. They were out of things on the menu and the waitress messed up our orders. Will not be going back here when we visit Estes Park in the future.

Just say no to this place. Orders incorrect. Bill incorrect. Service poor. This could’ve easily been the worst dining experience of my life three French toast were brought out when one was ordered for an 8 top and then they even tried to charge us for them all.

We dropped in here after driving through Rocky Mountain National Park to grab a late lunch despite the bad reviews. We decided to sit on the patio once we arrived because we could seriously smell musty air pouring out of the building. Our server was not very friendly. She was an older woman and didn’t seem to care much about customer service. While waiting for our food we also watched a different waitress stand in a 2 foot tall flower box that separated both sides of the patio to clear a table rather than walking around to the other side. Then, a totally different waitress walked away from a different table rolling her eyes in disgust at a customer. That same waitress later went back to serve that table whilst talking on the phone. The customer service needs huge improvement. I’ve never seen such a thing. Now onto the food. I had the BLT and my husband had the Elk Burger. Both were good. No complaints there. When we paid, i gave our waitress our credit card and ten minutes later the owner came out with an iPhone that i had to put in my card information, zip code, tip and sign which took at least 5+ minutes to do. If we were to come back to Estes Park, we would not eat here again unfortunately.

Worst breakfast ever. I had huevos rancheros and the«green chili» was more like ham and beans. The sausage patties were disgusting, potatoes weren’t worth eating, the biscuit was drenched in some type of butter. Do not eat here for breakfast.

Thought we would try their lunch today… we ordered the most popular items we thought were hard to ruin. man were we wrong. First off they say they sell Coca-Cola products… the coke is some knock off. after about 15 minutes we finally got our drinks. then waited a good amount of time for them to take our order. The Cesar salad with chicken was HORRIBLE. the Salad was waxy and hot. The chicken tasted like chewy rubber and there was absolutely NO flavor on the dressing or chicken. needless to say I ate about 4 bites and was ill. not to mention it’s my birthday. then my boyfriend got a burger. it was overcooked as well. Everything is premade stuff. nothing fresh. Basically all the food was disgusting, overpriced and a huge dissapointment. You would be better off at McDonald’s.also I forgot to mention it was basically empty in there.

Molly B is a good traditional diner with traditional diner food. I was here on a nice sunny afternoon for lunch. I had a bacon cheese burger with fries. The food is fresh and the wait staff is attentive. They also have a good size patio which is dog friendly. The unexpected surprise is the very good selection of well liquor if you desire a cocktail with your meal. I’d give this place 3.5 stars.

Molly B’s has really declined in the last decade. They used to be a good place for a good meal at a fair price. Now it’s a fair meal that’s overpriced. We spent as much here as we did at a much higher-end restaurant, and we got less food(quantity), less quality food, less alcohol, and less atmosphere. Honestly, if I’m going to dine in Estes Park, I’ll choose other places over Molly B’s. Sorry guys, been eating here since before the millenium, and you’ve just been getting older and more worn out.

Molly B’s has a great selection of food from american to mexican and no matter what ice ordered ive enjoyed. It’s very affordable, casual setting. My favorite is the gyro but on a cold day their soup can always be counted on as well!

I disagree with the low reviews. I ate here for breakfast and thought it was quite good. They serve classic diner food for a fair price. Service was good and the food was served within a few minutes. Coffee was refilled several times on the house. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Many people ate there and it seemed popular. I would go to Molly Bs again.

Had breakfast here on a beautiful sunny day. The outdoor seating area is great. Staff was friendly. Had the focaccia sandwich with egg and sausage and it was exactly what I needed. I’d definitely recommend this place for breakfast.

best food I’ve ever had in Estes park. I’ve been to Estes MANYTIMES! Too many to count. And have eaten almost everywhere. We went her on Saturday after a hike up to Gem Lake. We sat on the patio… and Tanya was our waitress… She was so very nice, and the food was the best. About the only place I’ve been with food as good or better was Twin Owls Steakhouse… and their is no way to compare the two. Two completely different types of restaurants. We liked our lunch so much we went back the next AM for breakfast… we had my baby Newfoundland with us, and since it was slow on the patio. they let her come sit by us as we had our bfast! big bowl of water for her and everything. Our breakfast was as good as our lunch was the day before… my BF and I have decided that this will be a regular stop for us from now on!
