Marginal at best. Burger was ordinary with fancy sauce. Small plates were OK. Not worth $ 100 for two. Nope.

They have a great atmosphere, but the service was sub par. We went there for lunch from the office and I ordered a burger, medium, and it was ok. However, it was a bit overpriced for the quality. We were almost the only guests in the place, but likely because it is now off season. Their tea was good and their French fries were pretty decent.

Food was great, service was a bit annoying. It could have been the staff didn’t have anything better to do due to a slow night, but it is a bit much to keep asking how one is doing every 10 min. Food was great, try the chicken in waffles.

My first time at Tag, not impressed… The meal, I ordered the salmon dish, it was overcooked and sat on top of a few measley vegetables, that was 21.00, I ordered the rum punch, all fruit juice. The service was by far the worst of all, we were the only patrons sitting outside and there were only a few other customers inside but yet we waited for quite a while before our drinks arrived, the meals were about an hour, asked for bread and told it would be an extra charge of 3.00 but he did bring out a complimentary 3 slices of toasted bread for our party of 5… We asked him for salt and pepper and some cheese for the pasta dishes but he never brought those to the table. Of course understandable if the place was busy but still we were the only customers. He also did not have a good attitude, he seemed rushed but who knows why. Really don’t bother, this restaurant does not have a chance of making it

Mediocre service and the food is over priced and lacks flavor. I ordered the Gouda Mac and cheese and it tasted like easy mac. I asked for fish tacos and it tasted super old and fishy .save yourself the disappointment and go to California pizza instead.

This place is amazing! Food was great and really inventive. Bartender, Genevieve, was literally one of the best servers in Fort Myers I’ve EVERSEEN! You should try this place!

Good spot with a nice bar. The food is excellent. There is not a lot of choice but the quality and presentation is there. The staff is fast, competent and welcoming. This is definitely making the difference. The wine is right priced and there is a little selection. The terrace seems nice but I didn’t have the time to go with a friend yet. Overall nice location to relax. It’s not full and the people are quiet. A gem.

For the price its not worth it, the food is way over priced and its not even good. We started with the Deviled eggs which was a huge disappointment! Spending $ 9 for 3 deviled eggs is awful but at the price there was hopes that it would be amazing, that was not the case and I would like to know what happened to the other half of that second egg?! We moved on to what was by far the best part of our dinner the fresh Pei Mussels, they were perfect and had us back on the positive side. They offered cigar city’s apple pie cider, if you have never tried it do so, its wonderful! I finished with the shrimp scampi, it was average not amazing and not awful. Service was great, our waitress had a wonderful sense of humor and did a great job. Sadly for the price its not worth it and I rather go else where for dinner.

Atmosphere: someone put a lot of time in to this very large space. USA metal poured frame art in the back looks hand made. Wood, brass, Art Deco. Food: some of the best food in recent memory. Grouper cheeks were amazing, snapper was great, but a tad over priced for the portion, but who’s complaining. Beer selection is on point, good mix of wheats and porters. Come here, bring friends. Happy hour specials looked good. Reasonable priced drinks, healthy pour.

People seem to really hate this place but I’m not sure why. We arrived, were seated quickly, were greeted quickly by a server and our drinks were brought quickly. We placed our orders and the food came out in appropriate time. I had a pasta that I really enjoyed, My friends each had sandwiches that they had no complaints about either. Maybe the prices were a smidge high but we left the place feeling like we got good value for our meals and had good meals to boot. Will return and hopefully enjoy as much again.

For the $ go elsewhere, the bar selection is good but that’s where it ends. The rib sliders are a joke for $ 14& as a local I’m embarrassed to have this place where I saw so many tourists at. Every dish needs to be better thought out. The fries are horrible & with nothing standing out special here at least have condiments to make it taste better(ranch, bbq, anything special would help)

Stopped in for happy hour. Very friendly and attentive staff. The draught is $ 5 and light appetizers $ 6. Nice presentation and a good beer selection. We’ll be back.

Great tasting food. Small portions considering the prices. Make sure to ask about which items are included in happy hour pricing and ask about plate size. The deviled eggs dish is simply a half an egg. Server was nice. We were mislead about pricing for happy hour because it said«small plates» are $six, when only certain small plates are six.

Eh this place is so so… Affordable but not anything Yummy or worth going back for. So far got the pepperoni flatbread and then risotto and neither of them The both times I had gone were that good. The new risotto recipe wasn’t nearly as good as the old meredays. Would I go back again for a third ehh probably not.

ok, So here we go. The third restaurant in that place without a stitch of a remodel. If I didn’t know better, I would swear the previous place in there is the same as this new place. I am just going to be short and sweet about that place. Without a new group/person involoved to have a clear vision of what a customer«Wants» versus what they can afford to deliver or to be «creatively different», it will just fail, fail, fail. The location is good and the demand is there, but this place falls way too short again. I can’t wait to try the next restaraunt that goes in that space.

My wife and I went here with another couple who has been wanting to try this restaurant since it opened. Initially, the reviews were excellent, but by the time we went there were several negative reviews. Most of them were about slow service. I can’t speak for what happened to those people, but I know our service was excellent. Our server was very friendly and helpful and when we had a question that she could not answer accurately, she said she would get the manager. The manager immediately came over and gave detailed descriptions of several of the dishes. During the meal he personally checked back with us to see if everything was as he described it. I ended up getting the beef short ribs, my wife got the chicken and waffles, our friends got a fish sandwich and panko crusted chicken. Everyone was very pleased with the taste of their entrees and the speed at which they were delivered. I don’t think it was more than 10, possibly 15, minutes between ordering and receiving our meals. My short ribs had an excellent sauce, and johnny cakes which were both very tasty. My wifes chicken and waffles had a delicious maple syrup sauce and the waffles were made with a slight bit of sage. We will definitely return to this restaurant. I don’t know how fast the service will be during the season as their business will probably at least triple. But our entire experience was excellent!

Definitely a new place! Overall, might go back after open a while longer. Maybe. The menu is really interesting, boasting pork cheeks and various types of deviled eggs. BUT when we arrived they were«out of pork cheeks» and their top listed ale(Punkin Ale). It was a Saturday night, but not wicked busy… left us disappointed and wondering. The cold gazpacho was tasty, lobster/corn chowder was good, the burger was ok, Mac and Cheese was the best part of our meal. Our server was REALLY friendly, and very attentive. Only issue, it was her VERYFIRST night and was doing her best to answer questions – all on her own. But she was not prepared with basic knowledge of the menu… she truly did her best. We waited quite a while for the food to come out after the apps and one of our burgers was wrong. My personal recommendation: food was ok, server was great. Not some place I’m running back to any time soon. Maybe later after the kinks are worked out.

Well, it definitely needs work. Visited on a weekday night and sat at the bar to order dinner. It was not busy with only about 6 people at the bar. Was ignored by middle-aged man(same as me) bartender for first 5 minutes. Finally he decides to stop whisper-talking to couple next to me encouraging them to email the owner about something and says«Hi, what can I get you?» Umm, how about some menus and a draft list? He kept up the poor service through my entire visit, failing to notice my empty beer glass until someone who appeared to be the manager served me my food and asked if I needed anything. Sure, how about another beer, since your bartender is ignoring me? The grouper cheeks could’ve been good, nicely presented, but were served lukewarm — a sign they were sitting at the pass ignored for a few minutes. I would’ve complained to the manager, but why bother? So I can endure another half hour of poor service at a place that doesn’t seem to care for my business? Sorry, you need to work on who you hire and the basics of Hospitality 101. I want to feel like I’m appreciated as a customer — not ignored. I won’t return, nor would I recommend it to others.

We live in coco and SO wanted to love this place! The chicken waffle sliders were good. We ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup, as well as the bison tacos. It took more than 50 minutes to get them. The grilled cheese was really awful, super greasy — no flavor. For 50 minutes I expected a lot more. The tacos were like warm at best and were missing many on the main toppings. They were basically bison, raddish and tortilla. The atmosphere was nice and so was our server — just super disappointing food overall.

Finally was able to check out this new spot last night for dinner and it was a great decision. The food was fantastic and the service was great. We started with the black and bleu flat bread, solid choice. Also did some sliders and dessert. All was great. I would also recommend the Café Con Leche beer they currently have on Tap, total game changer!
