Star Nails

Vivi is the only nail artist I go to. I truly think these negative reviews are posted by the people who sold her this business, and then opened a new salon to compete with her right down the street. That being said, this place is extremely clean and sterile. My gel nails are beautifully shaped and last far longer than they do at the place down the road. I’m from NYC, I haven’t found anyone better in this area. She hand paints the most amazing designs when you want that. Give her a try and you won’t be sorry!

Okay, so my experience while there was typical to a Vermont nail salon. But I am disappointed with the quality. I have had many many manicures. I have very strong nails — often times nail techs will mention how beautiful they are and how I have such long nail beds. Let me tell you, I’ve always been able to take off a gel mani no problem, no damage, same strong nails. After this mani, my nails were totally trashed… falling apart, brittle, cracking. It’s so frustrating! I get my nails done every 2 – 3 weeks & after this it wasn’t worth is because they were not mani quality (I’m not one to get fake nails put on). I’m thinking it may have been that the tech. used the sander over my entire nail bed to what she said «help the nail polish stick». But, we are coming on 5 weeks out and I’m just barely getting my nails back… I think these guys are great for pedicures and I wouldn’t see why not to get fake nails here. I would not recommend for natural nail manicures. Sorry. I wanted to like them!

This place was horrible! I stopped randomly today to get a pedi and it was bad. They reused an exfoliating block and sandals. They barely scrubbed my feet and slapped lotion on. It was dirty and I was not at all pleased with the $ 30 pedi I got!

I had a mani pedi done here and I was very disappointed with the whole experience. I did not receive a foot massage or any relaxation, my manicure took 5 minutes and was just a quick paint job. Less than impressed, I will never go there again.
