Oh my goodness, I’m in love with the brioche cinnamon rolls from The Bread Barn! My husband brought a few home, for himself since he knows I’m not generally a huge fan of cinnamon rolls. But I got hungry and thought I’d cut one in half and pop it in the microwave for a snack,(since it had been sitting on my counter for 3 days.) It surprisingly still felt soft and fresh, so I skipped the microwave AND the butter and gave it a taste. It was incredible! All by itself. The perfect combination of doughy cinnamony sweetness, without a bunch of other junk to muck it up. I ate the entire roll. And wished we had more.(thank goodness we didn’t, haha!)

Oh lala! It’s cute. It’s frilly. It’s, it’s delicioso! Fresh baked goodness from scones to sourdough(the real kind) and other little miscellaneous items. Coffee, tea, soda pop… jk, no soda but, there is a restroom & places to sit your rear in comfortably and enjoy the view of Valley Center. Maybe out of your way but definitely worth the drive(or you can find them throughout San Diego Co at several farmers markets). Gotta run, my buns are hot n’ ready ;)

Discovered this place via the Escondido Farmers’ Market. Decided to visit the brick & mortar after the market stand ran out of my favorite Banana Bread one week. The Barn is a quant little shop with outdoor seating if you want to enjoy a coffee from their café and your baked treats on the spot. I’ve tried their Banana Bread with walnuts and the one with chocolate chips. Both are amazing and last longer if you put them in the refrigerator. Warm a slice up for 15 – 20 secs in the microwave and you’ve reached banana bread heaven!
