I’ve been visiting Donna for many years now I go to her for electrolysis and I love how comfortable she makes you feel. The best part is that it really works, she uses the best equipment and is very knowledgeable. It’s honestly been life changing and you won’t regret checking her services out.

From my first step through the door, I felt like I was being welcomed into a grand parlor with the plush seating, warm fireplace and an abundance of reading material. I should have arrived earlier so I could have relaxed in this wonderful space longer. Donna greeted me with a warm smile and whisked me back to her decadent yet cozy treatment room. I had scheduled a microdermabrasion but Donna also gave me a mini facial gratis! Donna is an expert, in fact she also teaches other aspiring estheticians. I only trust Donna with my skin care and the results have been wonderful! Just ask my husband! You cannot find better care and her prices are MUCH lower than expected.

I have been going to see Donna for about 2 months now. Let me just say I am very pleased. She knows her skin well and what treatments she recommends for your skin. She is the only person I have had work on my skin that is fun to talk and where I actually see results in my skin without spending loads of money. I’ve been seeing Donna for 4 years now for Brazilian waxing and microdermabrasion. She’s always been kind, welcoming and friendly with me every time. Her services are excellent. She has helped me get rid of the scarring I’ve had on my face from scratching my acne/breakouts. I’ve moved from Rancho Bernardo, to Mission Valley, to Spectrum Center, and to Tierrasanta and I continue to use her services bi-weekly.

WARNING*** RUDE&UNPROFESSIONAL, MEDIOCRESERVICE– STAYAWAY! My sister told me about a Groupon deal on a Microdermabrasion for $ 39.00 and we both purchased one. After calling numerous times and getting a machine, we finally got through just to find out that Tara Bella does not offer evening or weekend hours. Not ideal for us HUMANS who work typical 9:00 — 5:00 shifts. Anyway, we both booked our appointments(which were almost a month out, due to the unaccommodating business hours) and we both had extremely unprofessional experiences with the owner. My sister took a personal day off to go and only upon arrival was told the electricity in the spa’s plaza had been out all day, so she was not able to get services that day. Donna, the owner and primary skin care provider was not apologetic and had quite a bit of an attitude when my sister showed disappointment considering she took a personal day off work to be able to use her groupon due to inconsiderate business hours.(Still wondering how hard it would have been to call and cancel the clients for that day.) Anyway, my sister rescheduled, and went another day and services were rushed, and aggressive. She was blunt to the point of rude when my sister shared the type of skin care products she uses and likes in which Donna disagreed with. My experience gets worse. Not only did I have to schedule my appointment almost 4 weeks out, but I drove all the way from Spring Valley to Escondido in traffic and as I am but 2 exits away I call out of common courtesy to notify them that I am running a few minutes behind and will be there soon. The owner says, QUOTE–«oh, well I am taking a personal day today because I don’t feel good.» That’s it, no apology, no professionalism. I understand people get sick but WHYCOULDN’T SHECALLTOINFORMMESO I DIDN’T JUSTDRIVEALLTHATWAYFORNOTHINGAT $ 4.29 A GALLONOFGAS!!! So, I said, «Well, that’s a shame I hope you feel better, but I have to ask why you wouldn’t have called to cancel my appointment because I just drove all the way from Spring Valley to get here. She said, «Well, I have been feeling dizzy, so you can call Groupon and get your money back ok?» I told her I would be willing to keep my Groupon and go another day if she would consider compensating me for my time and travel, with possibly a small extra service or product. She said there was no way she would do that and that the Groupon was a bust and that she lost money doing it. I have since seen two more deals come out on Groupon for the same service from her salon. If it was a bad deal then why would she offer it again? RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL with MEDIOCRE service. Pay the price and go somewhere where you will get what you pay for and an overall great experience. Oh, my sister and I also posted our reviews on her website which had a few other remarks about her bad attitude and unprofessionalism but they were taken off a few days later. Seems she only keeps the good reviews on her website. — SMH!
