I can’t believe there aren’t more (or any?!) reviews for Rene. I went to her for a Shellac manicure and (regular) pedicure this morning, and she was just fantastic. She’s very detail-​oriented and asked a lot of questions regarding what I wanted, and then had good suggestions to offer to my «uhhhh I don’t know» responses. The end result is perfect. I also like that it isn’t your typical Asian-​run salon (how racist am I? I’ve been to plenty without problems and they get the job done) that’s packed full of people and a nauseating smell. Rene is so easy going and interesting that I hardly even noticed that I was there for two and a half hours. There was also some kind of a Mother’s Day discount that I was unaware of, so that was an added surprise. I am so pleased with my experience here and Rene’s business that I won’t even bother going anywhere else as long as I’m living in the area. As with all salons, if you’re unhappy with the work, you HAVE to tell them so they can fix it; they aren’t mind readers.

I love this place! Robbin does such an awesome job every time I go there. I get shellac done and it still looks good 2 weeks later. She really takes her time to do things right. I get complements on my nails all the time. If I want a special design, I show her the picture and she gets it right. Sometimes I don’t know what I want and she always has good suggestions. I will come back here time and time again.

Went and got a new full set here the other day & within 2 days of having them done half my nails broke off!

Rene, the owner of the salon, recently did my nails and I am BEYOND happy! She really took time with me and made my nails beautiful and festive. It is also obvious that customer service is a priority at the salon. The girls that were there were all very friendly. The salon is beautifully decorated for the holidays and has ample parking. I am very happy and would highly recommend both Rene and Rene’s Salon!

Dawn has done my nails for over 10 years. I can always count on her to be flexible with her scheduling and unsurpassed with her potential to do amazing work! Through long nails and short, gels and acrylics, manicures and pedicures… I have never ceased to be amazed by what she comes up with! If you want nails that are not only going to last… but be talked about wherever you go, go see Dawn. She has every color, glittered or pearlized… she can do things no one else can do… but if it’s just pink and whites you need, hers are not to be missed. They will easily last 50% longer than anyone elses, minimum and look absolutely gorgeous.
Give her your business, you won’t ever go back to a chop shop again. You definitely get what you pay for, so although she may be more expensive than the local quickie place, you won’t mind paying once you gaze at your beautiful nails!

Don’t waste your time with any other Nail tech at this salon; go straight to Dawn. She is fantastic. I don’t have time to sit around in a salon all day so I love and appreciate how efficient and punctual she is without compromising the high quality of standard we all should expect from the wonderful women that make us beautiful. The salon is a bit of a drive for me — but as I look down at my perfect nails while typing this out — it’s well worth it.

I have been a client of Dawns for over a year now and I refuse to ever go to anyone else again. I love having flashy nails and not having to worry about them break– Dawn always has dozens of colors and designs to choose from. I like my nails as short as possible and she always makes sure they are comfortable for me.
She uses all professional products and is always creating new designs for me to try out. As the other reviews said– Dawn is not cheap, but she is by far worth every penny.
Everybody stops me when they see my nails and asks where I get them done, I always have to look in my phone and get them her phone number. Even my grandmother and cousins go to her. She works at 2 locations right now– Renee’s Salon in Escondido and Envisions Salon in San Marcos.

I wanted to second this review for Dawn. She does a fantastic job with nails. If you want high quality, natural looking beautiful nails, definitely go see Dawn. I initially went somewhere else for my acrylic set and the nails broke, lifted, got stuff trapped underneath them. It was a disaster.
Since I’ve been going to Dawn, my nails are always beautiful and glowing. She’s very thorough and particular so you get the best quality. You won’t regret it. I always leave with a smile on my face and in disbelief at how great a job she did on my nails.

Dawn is AMAZING! She does the best pink and whites ever! She is pricey but you definitely get high quality nails and craftsmanship. She only uses Creative products which is great because it’s not that cheap, smelly crap that never lasts.
She is meticulous and my nails always turn out beautiful. She even guarantees the nails for 3 weeks ladies!!! You literally can’t beat that! If you break a nail, just call and she will fix it for free.
She can do the traditional pink and white set or whatever crazy glitter/​pattern you want. Tons of choices.
All my friends go to her and we are all addicted. She is simply the best. Go. Run. Now. You won’t regret it.
