Here we are Black Friday shopping, minding our own business, when this cute girl says,“would you like to sample our hot chocolate?” She meant CRACKCOCAINE!!! Seriously? The best cup of hot cocoa we have ever had!!! I should feel guilty about this purchase BUT I DON’T :)

If I can give her less than one star I’ll do it . I asked for A regular vanilla ice cream. And she act like i ask her for a charity… Even i told her is this ice cream what I paid for? She say yes that all what you get … I’m a Godiva lover. But i think this will be my last time at the store!

This is not a candy shop at all because candy is cheap and Godiva chocolate is something you have every once in a while. Yes Godiva is an upscale chocolate shop so be prepared to spend but I believe it’s worth every dollar. It’s not bright and open like See’s and I like that because it seems a little romantic. The employees will try to size you up to see if you know about Godiva and if you been there before. I’ve been a fan for years and have a Godiva credit card/gift card. They changed their free piece program, now you have to buy 10 bucks worth of chocolate to get a free piece a month. I love just about anything in the glass case and love how they have soft serve. This location is very small/cozy and there is a lot of chocolate all over the place. If you’re not used to Godvia the prices will shock you but so will the chocolate. My favorite is strawberry cluster, salted caramel cashew bark and the dark hot chocolate.

Saved my butt in a pinch. I don’t know much about chocolate, but I know they’re one of the big names that always impresses. That’s what I needed, and that’s what they did. Pristine shop, visually merchandised to the nth degree. Staff was very professional and friendly and willing to get off my heels to browse. More than I wanted to pay, but it got the trick done when I needed help. If you need to fill a craving or impress someone, this is the place to go.

I tried their ice cream. The price is $ 6.99 they have Vanilla, Swirl and Dark Chocolate. I had the swirl, I didn’t like it a lot. I prefer the frozen yogurt.

Honestly, I prefer See’s candies over this crap-hole. Not only is Godiva over priced, their chocolate is bad, average at best. I felt like they were trying to hard to make their flavors unique. No, I don’t want chocolate and watermelon! And why do they try so hard to make chocolate so salty? Chocolate is supposed to be sweet. When I’m in the mood for sodium filled junk food I don’t go like, «Gee, I really want some chocolate right now.» I have the opposite reaction to chocolate. Call me crazy but when I want something sweet the first thing that pops into my mind is chocolate. One of the chocolates I tried was described as being sweet but it was just a tad less salty than the rest. According to The Oxford English Dictionary, the word sweet is used to describe something with the«characteristics of honey or sugar; NOTSALTY!» Before you even claim something is sweet, make sure you know what sweet means. I’m talking to you Godiva! Sweet tooth not satisfied.

Super yummy chocolate. If you sign up for their email list, you get a free piece of chocolate every time you are in the store. I also get mailed coupons time to time in the mail/email. The latest coupon I had was $ 5 off a $ 10 purchase. I opted to treat myself after a hard day of shopping at the mall and I got a cup of chocolate covered strawberries for $ 12. I also selected a truffle as my free piece. My total for a truffle, and six strawberries covered in gourmet chocolate was about a buck after tax! The staff here is friendly and you can take as much time as you need to make your selections — no rush.

The employees are very friendly. You can get a free truffle each month if you join their rewards program. Their rum truffle and champagne truffles are delightful. Definitely the place to go for fine gifts.

Godiva may be expensive, but you definitely need to drop by around the holiday seasons, because they always have good deals that make the visit worthwhile. Two boxes of truffles for $ 25? 3 chocolate bars for $ 10? Sign me up! The people working here also tend to be super sweet– literally! If you’re checking out the chocolates, they will almost always ask if you want to try a sample– say yes! You’ll be doing yourself a favor, I promise you. Godiva chocolates are amazingly creamy and super rich. I would call them my guilty pleasure, but honestly, the tastes more than makes up for the guilt. Oh and one more thing– if you’re a true chocolate fanatic like I am, I would suggest you drop by to sign up as a Rewards member– you get one free truffle a month and let’s be honest, who doesn’t love that?

I LOOOOOOOOVe Godiva truffles:) They come out with new flavors time to time. I try to get all the flavors I can! I don’t think I’ve tried every truffle yet. Although it’s a large chain, it’s good chocolate. A truffle can be about 3 dollars a piece. But if you sign up, you can get a free truffle piece every month. And who doesn’t love free chocolate?! The staff are very friendly, sometimes handing out free chocolate to try while you shop. Stop by and satisfy your sweet tooth if you’re at the mall:)

C’mon now! I haven’t yet written a review for Godiva? This may be a large chain, but their chocolates are truly extraordinary. Perhaps not on the level of Chuao extraordinary, but high quality nonetheless. To make things interesting, they are always coming out with flavors. Again, the level of creativity doesn’t quite reach that of Chuao’s, but then as expensive as Godiva is, it isn’t as expensive as Chuao’s. The service is also top notch. Like See’s(another favorite), you always end up with a free chocolate sample every visit. Oh yeah! If you sign up for their email club, you receive a free truffle every month. You better believe I signed up. Godiva is expensive but like See’s, it’s worthwhile to go for a once in a while treat. If you are a chocoholic like I am, it’s a must. If you aren’t, I feel really, really, really sorry for you.

During our mall walking at Fashion Valley last weekend we bought some chocolate covered cherries from See’s. This weekend, while walking in North County Faire using our new pedometers, we stopped in at Godiva Chocolate wondering if their chocolate covered cherries could be better than See’s. We bought three from Godiva’s to take home and try.(see pictures) The three we bought at Godiva were the same price at the seven purchased at See’s, about $ 5. But I thought they were about equal in quality. My wife really thought the Godiva was much better and well worth the extra money. She did add that either would be fine for a «once a year» treat. North County Faire, now called Westfield North County, is the perfect indoor walking mall and especially this past Saturday considering the rain. Our pedometers are terrific. We scored a new high step count for the day going over 8,000 total steps. And we discovered a new number display called«aerobic» steps. The OMRONHJ-112 shows aerobic steps only when you walk«more than 60 steps per minute» for«more than 10 minutes continuously.» We did about 11 minutes at aerobic level, woo hoo!
