I love this place. Best BBQ around, great music, and nice people!

I can’t get enough of Moe’s chicken wings. I am a big wing fan, and try them almost everywhere I go, but they have some of the best I have ever tried! The wings are just a small part of their menu, but honestly, I never get anything else. The chicken wing platter comes with a pound of wings plus 2 sides. Make sure to check the chalkboard for the daily«special sides»! The other items on the menu are good, but I can’t say enough about the wings.

I love Moe’s bbq. This one had a very fun feel(better than the Aurora location). The food is very quick(order at the bar) and i think its delicious. We shared the nachos, which had this white BBQ sauce mixed with some sort of cheese. It was a good balance of sweet(but not too sweet) and savory. Plus, the baked beans, mac & cheese, and banana pudding are amazing sides! They do have a small parking lot to the side of Moe’s(between Moe’s and Gothic). The lot is for both Moe’s and Gothic theater, and it’s pretty tight. But at least it’s an option for those of us who don’t parallel park!

I came here for a smaller corporate event and had great time! The food was all very tasty and bowling was a great way to get everyone mingling! The Mac and cheese had something in it, I swear, I couldn’t stop eating it … I didn’t think it was amazing, but it was addicting! I had the BBQ tofu burger and was full after a few bites because the tofu was so thick. It wasn’t anything special, but pretty tasty for what it was. Cole slaw was on the sweeter side, but complimented the sandwich very well. Corn bread was okay … A bit dry for my taste! Even if I’m not back for bowling, I think I’ll stop by to try some more food items at some point. I’ve heard good things about their mahi mahi burger, so I’ll have that next time!

I can’t believe there’s a place in Denver(well, Englewood) that offers bowling AND actual BBQ. Why has no one told me this before? I walked in and immediately noticed the delicious aroma of BBQ smoke. No boiled ribs here! Food-wise, it’s by far the best food I’ve ever had while bowling. In the grand scheme of BBQ, I would say it was a little of the dry side, but I vet much enjoyed it anyway. I had the brisket and hot links platter with hash brown casserole and baked beans. The sides were great. Especially the hash brown casserole. I would visit again just for another bite. The best part of my visit to Moe’s was the bowling. I’m decent bowler, and I hate bowling at places that don’t maintain quality bowling lanes. The lanes here are in really good shape. And they have a good selection of bowling ball weights to choose from. Overall, the BBQ was good and the bowling far exceeded my expectations. I definitely recommend Moe’s for both.

I love love divey places where you walk in and feel right at home. That is Moe’s BBQ. Our niece had her 8th bday party here which was pretty awesome on my in-laws part. Having eaten before coming I only sampled the fried pickle slices(incredible), chicken wings(incredible) and chicken fingers(not a fan of white meat so these were meh). The music was on point and the bowling was a lot of fun. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful, particularly when little kids get a bowling ball stuck in the middle of the lane and employees have to walk out and retrieve the balls back.

Haley… Wow… What a bartender… Speechless. But I’ll keep talking. She took care of us when there was no where to sit. This place is busy on a Friday night! Anyway, my hot links and cornbread were solid. Haley was bartending and super busy but she took my order when about 20 people were waiting in the food line and got my order in quickly. What a pro. She deserves a medal. Still thinkin bout dem hot links.

They do pretty decent smoked wings and I really like their coleslaw and hot links. Drinks are moderately priced and the pours are decent. Bowling is fun and inexpensive. I’ve been to a few music shows here, but the sound was really gritty. Street parking can be easy to find as long as the Gothic isn’t running a popular concert the same night. I do not recommend parking in any of the private lots nearby as you will be towed. Overall, this is a good place to hang out with friends.

So the two times I have visited this location they are out of beef and pork? They only had«seafood». These were both midday visits when they should have had food available. Kitchen needs to be better at inventory/forecasting. A bbq joint should never be out of meat. The one time I did have their meat it was decent, but in not going to waste another trip out there and take a risk of them being out of food.

The food was boring nothing special. The bowling alley was small. The major complaint I have about this place, is do not park at the smash burger parking lot you will get towed and pay $ 300 to get your car back at Alpine towing. Worst night ever had.

Disappointing. We had the Turkey, Pulled Pork and Hot Links. Our sides were Coleslaw, mac ‘n cheese, and of course the jalenpeno corn bread. The turkey was dry dry dry, even with the sauce they dribbled on top of it, it couldn’t be helped. The pulled pork was okay, not great, but good flavor, the hot links were the best of the platter. Presentation, okay, when we go for BBQ at places, usually they serve the meat and the sides on a plate, give you a fork and knife, and the sauces are on the table, here, for some reason, they thought they should drizzle sauces over the meat, we got a fork, even though there were several of us at the table and no knives. Also, no sauces on the table — seriously??? Where are the sauces at a BBQ joint? Been to other locations of Moe’s and have been happy, I think it’s just this location.

Moe’s is a solid BBQ joint. I can speak to this location from over the years, my friends parents did some catering here after my graduation from DU which was delicious. I’ve been here bowling for a work function twice, which has always been great. Personally, came here today for some BBQ with a friend after a hike. 4 stars? I’m not a BBQ aficionado, but from my friends over the years have said that it’s legit. I’ve had the sides, sandwiches, etc, and all are good. Not complainants here.

This place has a pretty good atmosphere for being a bar/bowling alley sort of set-up, but there are a few things that can be tended to. First of all, the tables were quite dirty, and some of the pinball machines were poorly conditioned. I even lost fifty cents on one of the machines. Then there’s the service… which is terrible. The staff at the counter almost looked completely uninterested in helping anyone, and said I needed to order at the counter. I accepted that, but then got overcharged for my sandwich by two dollars, and had to pour my own soda out of a nearby machine — which, too, was dirty. The food itself isn’t bad. I ordered the smoked turkey sandwich, and it has a good zing to it with the BBQ sauce. The mac and cheese, however, was a globbed mess, with cheese meshed in via balls to the macaroni, which was a bit dry. At least the banana pudding was okay, although I was given a fork instead of a spoon to eat it, which isn’t the same. Finally, my order was incorrect twice when they brought it out to me. The first time I asked for a sandwich and got a platter, and the second time I was given a sandwich, but with slaw and pickles… which I asked to be removed. The dude seemed a little casual about taking them back, without an apology. Moe’s Original has a good spot on Broadway, and the food has a certain appeal to it. However, the condition of the space, the attitude of the staff, and the lack of care in presentation just tells me to stay away. And, despite the great BBQ sauce, I just might oblige.

Interesting place — seems like a run down bowling alley with a take out counter tacked on as a side thought. The counter staff were involved in a discussion and didn’t seem at all interested with taking my order and only responded when I «interrupted». Ordered the pulled pork(yummy!) and smoked turkey(mostly tasty, but very dry breast meat). Didn’t try any of the sauces. Don’t think I’ll be back.

This place is fine, the staff is generally courteous and the food is ok, cool atmosphere and a fun place to hang out. My beef is that I went there to watch a basketball game, given that it’s March and college basketball is a thing. My buddy and I ordered food and both had a couple beers, we weren’t freeloading and drinking waters or something. The second half of the game we wanted to watch was just tipping off and some guy walks by and clicks the TV off. When I told him we were there to watch the game he just shrugged at me. There was a band about to start, which, whatever, I couldn’t have cared less. The TV was not facing the band, it wouldn’t have been any disturbance to anyone that was there for the band, all 6 of them. The game sound wasn’t on, so I really have no clue why they would need to shut it off. The music wasn’t even starting, they hadn’t done any sound checks and, as previously mentioned there were less than 20 people in that part of the restaurant anyway. Between asking me to pay cover when I’m already seated and eating dinner and watching a game was annoying to start with. Interrupting my game for some band was just downright rude.

BBQ and bowling… what more could you ask for. I have eaten here a few times and I have to say that I love the atmosphere. This is my favorite of all of the Moe’s locations. I don’t know if it is the old school feel… the bowling alley or what. but the BBQ seems to taste better here than their other locations. I typically get their pork and also enjoy their sides… their cornbread, beans and cole slaw are all very good.

Moe’s is pretty good. I like the environment of the restaurant/bowling alley. Their food is pretty good as well but I seldom crave their unique bbq style food and there really isn’t a whole lot of variety to the food. I often don’t finish what I order just because it’s so damn salty, the cornbread, the wings, the sauce, the fried pickles. They also don’t really have a huge variety of beer(4 taps) and the beer they do have is marked up pretty high.

This is about the only place left you can bring kids and enjoy an adult night in Denver for a reasonable price. Keep it up Moes! I just wish Celebrities was still here because I know you Denverites miss it as much as I do!

It is great BBQ with awesome tang and spice. The stingers are an interesting start! Your order at the counter but they also provide great service. They also have several tv’s to watch the game on!
