Doctor Courtney truly cares and gives you the time you need. I highly recommend him. He has been my primary physician for about 10 years and I have always been seen on time and he always takes whatever time is needed to educate and discuss other referrals he had to make for a specialist. He knows who I am and remembers our past consults. He also understands and is empathetic because he tries to stay fit like we all are and has had a few of his own challenges over the years. Go to Dr Courtney!

First of all, I think Dr. Courtney is an excellent doctor. I went to him, and he had my problem pegged. He is familiar with a wide variety of problems /​issues, including the neurologic and sinus issues I was having. I think I could have avoided many of the problems I have experienced for the last 8 months if I had him for a doctor to begin with.
Now, that being said, I don’t think I can use him as my primary care physician, for this one reason: Lack of availability. When I first called to make a first-​time appointment, the wait was 2 weeks. That was fine. However, after that I had some issues with the medication he prescribed, and it took THREE DAYS for his nurses to get back to me — THREE DAYS while I was in pain. I kept calling and asking for someone to call — and they kept saying they would, but if I didn’t hear from them by the end of the day to call back again the next day. So today after having more issues, I finally asked if I could just make an appointment with Dr. Courtney to see him about my problems with the meds — and I can’t get into see him for 4 days.
This may be acceptable for some people, but with the pain I am in and the issues I am having, I will be in an ER before then. So I am going to unfortunately have to move on to someone else. Very disappointing, that, because I would have liked to have him for my doctor.
