Love this place. Been coming here for years. Primavera Pizza is the best.

listen up vittorios. you get 2 stars because my best friend really likes your food and he has a pretty decent palate. also 2 stars instead of 1 because when he drew his knife through your 3-​cheese ravioli the filling stood up and was neither watery nor runny. that is the make of a decent ravioli.
i gave miceli’s 1 star for the same reason i want to give you 1 star.

Risotto Primavera
Creamy italian rice with fresh vegetables shallots served with savory butter & marinara sauce
WHY are you putting MARINARA on or IN risotto?!? do you know nothing of how acids break down starch? adding an acidic tomato sauce to the arborio when it has made itself vulnerable to absorbing everything it comes into contact with. it’s just wrong, wrong, wrong.
is it a cheap tactic to keep your risotto in a holding tray on a steam table without turning into glue? if so, TSK TSK TSK shame on you Vittorio!
my friend seemed satisfied with his order but from a chef’s pov this place is another joke on the map and another fail under the catagory of, «italian restaurants in la»
i toss my crumpled napkin at you!

Got some good news and have some not to bad news.
The bad news is they ran out of all there Italian beer. The good news is I found a pizza not drowning in tomatoe sauce. Imaginitive selection of toppings including a Thai satay if you dare.
Really a good flavorful pizza and at a reasonable price. Missd the Morritti beer though. Thought they would offer a Heinaken on the house but no biggie, i will b back.
