This star is from grief, a great restaurant that will be much missed. They had real Italian food made with care.

By far the best Italian food I’ve ever had. So sad it closed. I hope one day they can re-open in the valley.

***CLOSED. so sad, it had so much potential. i heard it’s turning into a mediterranean place. the décor and atmosphere is almost perfect except for the giant flat screen TV in the corner of the restaurant. ruins the feel of the place. the food is really good, very much like the food we had in italy. highly recommend anything on their specials board, osso buco is delicious, served with safron risotto! and when the have it, also recommend lobster diavlo. the marsala sauce is also excellent, my husband does not eat mushrooms too often, but he likes this dish. on slow nights they serve you with complimentary creamy polenta. desserts are nothing special, but i never pass up chocolate.

Food here isn’t bad. but the service is totally weird. Our waiter was an aspiring actor, and I guess he thought we could help him get in the biz, but we can’t, so we just laughed to ourselves. He forgot about the specials and was a little slow in getting the drinks. The food itself took a long time too, as if they bought the ingredients from Ralphs after we ordered it. Taste-wise, food is alright. I had the chicken parmigian, where the chicken took up the whole plate and there was a side of pasta. I didn’t even touch the pasta, only ate the chicken. Environment of the restaurant itself was nice. It wasn’t too crowded on the Thurs night, and it wasn’t too loud. There was a tv up by the bar, but it wasn’t like you could hear it from the back. Price wise, I’d say it was priced like a cheesecake factory(14.50 for the chicken parmigian). Overall, it’s ok.
